Family › Re: My Wife Of Less Than Two Years Says It's Over Between Us by CaptainFM1: 2:31pm On May 26, 2022
InsideLife2022:
I have been an active member on this forum for the past eight years. I just created this account to bring this issue to limelight. Good evening gentlemen and ladies. I got married in late 2020. God being merciful, we are blessed with a baby of 5 months. My wife has been giving me attitudes of recent. I have tried to find out what the problem has been, she is not saying anything tangible. I am being confused and depressed. I have been begging her to come back to join me after delivery. She keeps traumazing me emotionally. She just told me our marriage is over. She couldn't say what the problem is.

She has not been taking care of the baby. She was medically advised to stop breastfeeding our baby permanently. Is not that she breastfeeds our baby. My mother in-law and sisters in-law have been complaining about her lack of motherly treats.

They told me she doesn't even know how to take care of the baby. They cannot allow my child to be in her custody because she can't take care of the baby as a mother. She has fought her mother for asking her to leave her house to join her husband. Every member of her family has been asking her what the problem is. She keeps telling them to come and marry me that it's over between us.

I haven't told any of my family members or my friends of what is going on in my marriage. I am a kind of person that do not like involving a third party in my new marriage of lest than two years.

Her family has never supported her actions. Her mom and her siblings have been asking me to come take my wife and baby. But, my wife is not ready to join me. It has been a serious issues in her family house each time they push her to go meet her husband.

Her family has ask me to come with some soldiers or the police to come carry my baby and leave her since she claims she is no longer interested in any marriage. I have been trying my best to make sure my wife never lacked anything during her pregnancy and even after delivery.

My in-laws have been very supportive and good to me. I know they have never and will not support her for her wrong actions and behaviors. My challenge is, my baby is just 5 months and I don't want to take the baby to my parents because of the questions people around will be asking. I don't want to be seen as someone who is separated from his wife. I hate divorce with passion. My wife does not have any concrete reason why she decides to stay off our marriage.

Her family is fully in support of my next actions of going to take my baby. Now, the question is this; is it advisable to keep the baby with me while I employ a nanny to raise the baby with me?

Please and please I need mature and sensible advise.

Cc: RoyalRoy

I want this thread to be moved to the right and appropriate section. Thank you!
Why do you hate divorce? I'm not here to sound moral or immoral here. I just want to know your reasons.

We need to understand that the era of "for better, for worse" is over. That phrase should not be read again at weddings. Infact, this days your reason could be as simple as "you're tired of your partner" or "you don't fancy/like him anymore"

With Feminism growing and gaining grounds, people are no longer having that faith in the marriage institution. It appears as a scam to many. And I'm still looking for the root cause!

He wasn't nominated, but he was qualified to contest because he is from one of the royal houses that contest for the Ooni throne. The fact that he contested is what led to his downfall eventually.

You have to understand Yoruba tradition and cosmology to know the dynamics of why this man, a contender to the Ooni position finally got what he deserved. Because the position of Ooni is like that of the Grand Priest of Yoruba people and tradition, the process of selection requires divination with IFA and other traditional rituals. All contenders are required to be "clean" in deeds. Once an individual with previous evil deeds go before IFA, especially for a throne as important as the Ooni, first thing is that IFA will reveal to the diviner that this kind of individual is not the ideal candidate, and secondly, the dynamics of the universe will put things in motion to the point that karma will hunt the individual down and reveal his evil deeds to the world. What people don't know is that practice of Yoruba tradition require purity of heart and non-evil deeds. Ifa doesn't abhor using human for rituals. In fact there are IFA verses that states this clearly. All those you see claiming to be traditional priests who get involved in evil deeds are not genuine traditionalists because each IFA priests are bound by a oath against evil practice. The reason most Yoruba people choose not to practice yoruba spirituality is because they cannot keep the tenets of the spirituality, which is to stay away from evils and exhibit good character at all times. I am an IFA practitioner, and I question all my actions to ensure that I stay clear of evil deeds at all time. That's what the spirituality demands. One of the well established tenets of the spirituality is that "Esu" the divinity for justice, and the "policeman" of the universe will pay back every human for his/her action. And Esu is a cornerstone in Yoruba spirituality. So, how in the world would someone with this understanding get involve in evil? Because, one knows that Esu payback time is coming.
I like our deities. I would have loved to start worshipping them but I fear they will strike me down too.

He's qualified like every others. Nomination is additional boost just like endorsement or annointed.

To even learnt that this Rahmon Adegoke Adedoyin was nominated to be Ooni of Ife by the former Oonirisa worries me.

I guess this is the kind of rituals they engaged in to achieve money, fame and power.

If I were these politicians, I will simply use the minimum qualifications required. I think it's school cert and you don't even have to pass those subjects. (pls correct me on this if I'm wrong).

That way, the issue of NYSC will not be coming up. Or school cert holders are required to do NYSC?

I hate it when I see boys with short Nika above there knees and with slippers and to worsting it they carry big iphone.

If seems they spent all their money on the iphone. Some of them cannot even afford a bottle of beer.

They don't spend money on other things other than that iphone thing.

People without the iphone even dress well, spend well and look rich richer. But the iphone is what those boys are using to cover up.
To add to it, the knicker doesn't sit on their waist. When you see them, simply tag them Amugbo or yahoo boy. There's nothing in their head and they are never ready to work. They just want quick money and show off on social media.

Igbos should not be allowed to vote because they lack the mental capacity to vote sensible candidates. Look at the Governors in Igboland and ask yourself if you want Lagos to be like Igboland.
Every eligible voters should be allowed to exercise their right to vote. That is what democracy is all about.

That your explanation above is very shallow minded.

I watched the program na. The table doesn't mean his manifestos came first.

Does it also mean Ameachi's came second? You need to count the stars na.

From my understanding, the table is arranged as per their age. Most of them, their manifestos are just theoretical. The real question is "How"

I will make #1 equal $1.....Howhuh?

Health › Re: Could This Lump In My Breast Be Cancerous? by CaptainFM1: 12:14pm On May 25, 2022
Immaculate755:
Good afternoon Nairalanders.
Please I need your input on the predicament I found myself in.

Roughly 3 months ago, I discovered something like a lump in my breast the left side precisely but it wasn't painful if not pressed. Initially, I didn't see it as something serious until clear fluid began to show on the nipple when pressed and the size of the lump seems reduced when water is being squeezed out.

3weeks after the discovery, I went to see a Medical Doctor in a Federal University Health Centre where I'm schooling. I narrated my ordeal to her and asked me to pull off my T-shirt for her to see the lump in the breast which I did.

She did visual check only. No examination or anything. she said it nothing to worry about that it normal.

She then asked of my age? Told her I'm in my mid-twenties (was specific when telling her tho). Her response was that it normal. Then I told her about some researches I made on the internet, that I think it should be normal if am still in my teens prolly because of puberty. Her response was still the same couldn't believe my ears.

Later told her about the nipple discharge (clear liquid) coming out when pressed. She laughed it off and said maybe it breast milk. I was very vexed and told her what's that suppose to mean, saw the vexed look on my face she then apologized that she didn't mean that way that's normal. She asked if it painful? I said no if not pressed and she gave the same response as usual.

It has been over 2months now I met the Medic but can't get it off my mind. The thought of the lump being cancerous that it'll better if the lump is examined on time has been on my mind ever since then.

Please Medics/Health Practitioners come to my aid, is the Medical Doctor right about lump not being cancerous?

Pls pardon my grammatical errors.
Go for proper check up.
And secondly, don't put it on your mind.

Once your mind start thinking it could be cancer you are already giving it 50% chance.

That will be more embarrassing ooo!
Their main aim is to embarrass him anyway. They can actually pick him up softly, but to make it loud, they decided to enter through the ceiling.

They were not even sophisticated enough for my liking. I would expect them to launch into the roof via helicopter or even use a simple door smasher to break in. They operated like common criminal entering from ceiling.

The smile on the faces of her siblings especially the boy is beautiful and heart warming.
Those kids still can't process the situation to it's full extent. From experience, they will still shed their tears whenever any situations reminded them of the horrific death of Deborah. I pray they don't though. Its a pain that I personally will not forgive Nigeria, religious clerics and all our politicians for.

Ukrainian forces are clearly an elite team of fighters...

They know what to do and they do it so well.

The moment Russia lost Kharkiv I knew it was only a matter of time that they would take Izium and be within range of Donbas and here we are.

Their guns are now within range of Izium as they keep pushing forward which has caused Russian troops to once again change plans and focus on Lyman as their staging point which is their last line of defence before Donbas grin

I love this
So who is winning the war? On whose territory is the destruction taken place? Which citizens are displaced?
