Exactly, you guys look down at those guys but I respect them. My plans is to teach those guys the best practice in their field. I'm looking at setting up a technical school in the nearest future like we have here in the US.

I agree with you. I fired my Engr based on issue of supervision. They made some terrible mistake during block setting and I have to pay more to correct those mistakes. He get more than enough from me but doen't supervise my site as agreed. I can't continue paying an incompetent Engr. so, I fired him during the door installation. He has this tactics of splitting task to maximize his profit.

Spyder, what's your opinion about slate ceiling and PVC ceiling? What is the price margin?

I could recall you said somewhere in this blog, you'll install PVC. I know the cost of PVC strip ceilings  but got no idea the cost of slate ceiling.  My question is open to anyone that has an answer.

Who is the expert here? Spyder880, I wanna believe you are and there must be a structural layout for the ongoing construction. Am alone, has pointed out somethings and I think the house would appreciate it, if you could explain why it's done that way.
Properties / Re: The Finishing Of My House (Oluwa Champion) by caseymoney(m): 10:16pm On Jan 27, 2012
Am Alone, feel free to share information but do not give out contact of your artisan. Every private and commercial builder should be able to find reputable craftsman to work with. Let's see how far you have gone.

Can you post the total cost of installing the tiles, electrical fittings and plumbing.

Again, feel free to share but be security conscious. What you have installed are basic things a hardworking fellow should be able to afford but poverty and bad belle plenty for una country.

Religion / Re: Why Do So Many Nigerians Dislike Rich Pastors? by caseymoney(m): 4:04pm On Jan 24, 2012
Nobody dislikes them, but by their fruit you shall know them. They preach prosperity which is not the foundation of christianity. Give people hope of a greater hereafter i.e. Preach Salvation. They attract their sheeps by preaching prosperity and living large on their offerings.

Gej I believe is not the problem here, its some northern element who has sworn to make the Nigerian state ungovernable. Recent events proves this. If you are in Gej's shoes, you may be worse off considering all factors. Let's pray for God to rescue us rather than condemn gej. In a compromised security apparatus, nothing much can be achieved.

GEJ that could intimidate Lagos protesters with soldiers but he's afraid to face an illetrate and uncivilized sect called Boko Haram. That's not an excuse. Nigeria is bigger than anybody that wants to make the country ungovernable. Civil protest without any lost of properties or life should be allowed in any civil country.

GEJ is the C-in-C. He should use his soldier to fight BH and not unarmed civilians.

Politics / Re: Lagos State Grants SNG Permission To Stage A Protest At Gani Park On Saturday by caseymoney(m): 2:58am On Jan 19, 2012
djustice:

May God punish you and your generations for daring to bring our honest, taxpaying elders, whose taxes were used to construct the original road in the first place, into this. May the fingers with which you typed that rubbish be afflicted with leprosy, rot and fall off your useless hands. EEeediooott like you!

It is only a slowpoke like you who doesn't even have an international passport, talk less of travelling abroad, that can type this sort of rubbish about living "in developed world". Illiteracy really is a dangerous thing. If it's not Fashola, what was Hakeem Odumosu's RRS Police Unit, under the Governor's Office, doing shooting at and beating protesters during the last protest?

I know poverty is your problem, and it will be your problem until you die your miserable lazy man's death. You are envious of your fellow human beings that have worked hard to get their money, are paying WAY MORE than their fair share in taxes and are providing employment in various workplaces for millions of ordinary Lagosians.

You think we haven't been abroad before, to know that tolls roads are usually complemented by untolled and very motorable alternative routes that run parallel to the tolled roads? Or that INTRA CITY roads are never tolled? Or even that this is the ONLY ROAD IN THE WORLD where toll plazas have been clustered so closely together - 3 within a 23 km stretch of road!

Has your brain gone on permanent holiday because of the change Tinubu and Fashola are giving you? May that money bring untold grief and hardship into your already miserable life. Oloshi, akushe buruku! Just wait till Saturday!

I'm just too cultured and exposed to be exchanging words or cursing on a blog. That's my opinion and I'm entitled to my own opinion and I'm fully aware of what I'm talking about. I got land and properties in Ajah and due to your people or the so called Baale, they made me pay twice for a land had already paid for because they knew I live abroad. You talking about poverty and location. I don't have to contest my location with you because you don't know me. A matured man of my age would not curse but would rather articulate his view. So, you got it wrong about my location and person.
Politics / Re: Lagos State Grants SNG Permission To Stage A Protest At Gani Park On Saturday by caseymoney(m): 1:44am On Jan 19, 2012
djustice:

Fashola should be ready to face a MASS PROTEST against the obnoxious Toll Gates on Lekki Epe expressway on Saturday. What is good for the goose is surely good for the gander. Any attempt by RRS or ACN thugs to stop that protest will be STIFFLY RESISTED.

We are ready for WAR in Lekki. If he doubts it, let him bring it on. While he authorises protests sponsored by his godfather, he would use RRS to put down protests against the exploitation of the people by the same tin-god?

Saturday will be very interesting in Ojota and Lekki.

Abeg, you guys should pay the price. Your elders had sold your land to the rich and even your unborn generation would pay the price. Toll in that road is not a bad thing. If you live in developed world you will realize it's a good thing for such places like Lekki. This is not Fashola. It's PPP and the private companies must get their ROI.

I guess it's too late to cry when the head is off the neck. I think other political parties should start working towards 2015 election. Nigerian had no choice than to live with the shoeless president they voted in, based on their tribal sentiment. It's only in Nigeria people vote for medocrity. A President who couldn't debate his opponent on a nuetral ground.

Abeg, make una enjoy the fresh air till it last!!!

@Kobo, it's written everywhere. Why the worries. It's on all daily newspaper. The strike has not been called off.
Politics / Re: President Jonathan Approves N97/Litre As The New Pump Price For Petrol by caseymoney(m): 3:08am On Jan 16, 2012
It's a sit at home stirke. Labour said the strike continues but due to treason and security reason, the strike is gonna be a sit at home strike. The Ojota Carnival is over. All perpetrators will be dealt with. The true test of the struggle has just started. This will tell if the Nigerian people are ready for change and claim their country from the so called parasite called Govt.
