There are clearly a lot of poorly educated, ignorant, unenlightened Nigerians such that it is really endemic . The same People who spend so much energy on Buhari’s all edged certificate saga clearly have learnt nothing.

Let me break it down to you imbeciles!

The minimu requirement for contesting the presidency is a school leaving certificate or equivalent. The emphasis here is “minimum”. A man who therefore attended a postgraduate course at a prestigious military institution meets that requirement. Whether he has a school certificate is therefore irrelevant.

Now let’s come to Tinubu. The man says he has a degree, so whether he went to primary or secondary school is irrelevant. The document he has produced is an affidavit saying he obtained a degree (satisfying the minimum requirement) that the certificate has been stolen.

The only thing you can hang on Tinubu at this point is a false declaration in his 1999 INEC declaration. Unfortunately for his opponents, the case went to court and was dismissed on the basis of immunity he enjoyed as a sitting governor. When someone tried to revive the Gani case, it was dismissed because it was statute barred because the person who brought the case waited almost 8 years after Tinubu had left office and the judge asked why did he wait so long?

Conclusion: people are wasting their time just like they wasted their time over the certificate saga!! He hasn’t committed any offense in his current INEC form and the old case is statute barred.

A lot of these things sadly just reveal the low level of education, intellect and enlightenment of Nigerians. It is really sad that many educated. Iberians do not understand what “minimum” means

For your information, while a good, written communication skill is desirable, there are still some engineering professors/graduates with limited capabilities. Going by your logic, the well written, press releases from Femi Adeshina/Garba Shehu are also measures of President Buhari’s education and pedigree. Hilarious, isn’t it?

By the way, while I hope that Sen. Ekweremadu would eventually be vindicated with respect to his current travail, I would not dress him in borrowed robes. There is nothing really dignified or royal about him. For Peter Obi, I simply admire his down-to-earth personality, humility, and accomplishments.

I said to you earlier on I am wasting my time as you clearly lack what it takes to understand what I am saying. One look at Peter Obi’s letters and you will see the flaws. If you can’t it because you are equally as deficient. If Peter Obi had the required fundamental education, he would have spotted the errors and not append his signature to poorly worded and formatted letters time and time again, irrespective of whether they were written on his behalf or not…..he signed them. As for pedigree, pedigree is not always about family background. Pedigree could be about the provenance of your family, education, social status, professional life etc. that you do not understand this agains is a reflection on you. The word pedigree depends on the context.

Like I said if you know, you know. I will not waste any further time with your sort. A well educated man should know for example, you do not end a letter with “yours sincerely” or “sincerely” except the salutation is personal e.g Dear John. There are at least 5 other basic flaws in Peter Obi’s letters that speak to his pedigree or lack thereof. That is evidence of man who lacks the pedigree and surrounds himself with people who are equally lacking and therefore cannot point out the flaws. For a man of his status that is unforgivable. Mistakes are allowable on social media, my posts on Nairaland are full of mistakes, often I am aware there are grammatical or syntax errors but this is an informal medium. However you do not allow mistakes on official communications as it is a reflection on you. It is no surprise he came out with a pass degree. This is what separates a man with a Ph.D…..such basic flaws would have been drilled out of you by the time you obtain a Ph.D. That is an example of what pedigree means in this context. Pedigree is not about the home you came out of. A man from a disadvantaged background can attain a good educational pedigree but there are many examples of people from wealthy backgrounds with poor educational pedigree. Some things especially those that should have been ingrained at an early age, are not easily overcome simply because you have money, if anything money and success only highlights such inadequacies.

Ekweremadu has an academic Ph.d in Law, the extent of Peter Obi's education is a pass degree in philosophy. irrespective of where he Obtained the Ph.d, there is a level of intelectual and academic rigor you will have to overcome to obtain an earned Ph.d. You dont obtain a Ph.d and not know how to communicate properly in English. you dont obtain a Ph.d without being challenged intellectually. A pass degree is a certificate of attendance for all intents and purpose, what we call "let my people go". Google 3 letters by Peter Obi which are freely available on the web. 1) the letter to a student while he was Governor, the letter of resignation from PDP and his handover letter. If you cannot spot the multiple flaws in all 3 letters then I have nothing more to say to you, it shows your level of education is just as bad as peter Obi's. One of the basics of education is the ability to write a letter. peter Obi has shown he cannot. I saw a latter by Ekweremadu to the embassy and the letter was faultless, clearly written by an educated man, a man who went to school and in whom the school remains. Like I said up till this point I never rated him because i really didnt know much about him but what impressed me was that the letter was written by a man who went to school and school remained in him. By the way Ekweremadu was a university lecturer and had his own law firm. There are people out there who never went to university but when they speak or write you know they had a good education or have good pedigree.

There are certain tell tale signs that you cannot fake that betray education/pedigree, no matter how much you try to whitewash it. One of those is being educated in the art of proper letter writing and ability to spot a properly or badly written letter. If you cannot spot the flaws in Peter obi's letters, then like I have said, I am wasting my time. it's like trying to sell 35 year old vintage whisky to a regular beer parlour customer, butter to someone who doesnt know the difference between butter and margarine or fine cognac to someone who doesnt know you dont dilute fine cognac with coke or fine leather to someone who doesnt know the different grades of leather or the difference between artificial leather and real leather.
