Recent events have made me realize that the south and Pentecostals are the problem of Nigeria.

When God gave you a brain and awolowo gave you education but you decided to leave your brains for pastors to turn your brains into jelly.
To the point where your level of reasoning is no better than an almajiri.

Like I have said many times this is why the IQ of the typical Pentecostal Christian is lower than it should be. The same way they led a highly intelligent man like Osinbajo to embark on a suicide mission and destroyed his reputation. Now Osinbajo is a pariah in yoruba land.

I am a Christian and I will vote Tinubu.

Toks2008:
Are you a Nigerian?
Are you resident in Nigeria?
Are you allowed to Vote?

If your answer is a YES to these three questions and you don't have a PVC(Permanent Voters Card) or you have a PVC and you decide to sit at home on the day of election...

YOU ARE THE GREATEST ENEMY OF NIGERIA.

Inec has improved the electoral system and this time around, your vote will count.

Dont be an impediment to yourself, your country, your children and your generations unborn.

Go get your PVC and vote your choice.
why do people make dumb statements like this. what if there is no candidate one likes? By all means encourage people to vote but which one is enemy of Nigeria because there is no candidate one likes? Tomorrow the candidate will disappoint in office and it is people like you that will blame others for voting them in.
Politics › Re: Did Peter Obi Betray Atiku? by casualobserver: 7:33pm On Jun 16, 2022
TooNoisy:
We are in the political season again and there has been lots of conversations about betrayals. However, one Interesting betrayal that I see is between Atiku and Peter Obi.

First of all, Peter Obi betrayed Ojukwu. Obi was little known before Ojukwu offered him the platform of APGA to run on. The moment Obi finished his 8 years, he ported to PDP less than one year later. Ojukwu's son publicly accused Obi of betrayal.

Obi then gets to PDP and is very fortunate that Atiku picks him as running mate in 2019. There were 3 PDP governors at the time and they were first time governors who were focused on 2nd term. So Peter Obi was chosen. Peter Obi suddenly moved from Anambra boy to national name.

Then 2022, Peter Obi decides to run against Atiku. In fareness, he knew he couldn't win but wanted to get Atiku's attention for VP. But when it was obvious no governor was with him and he was going to be disgraced, he ported to Labour Party.

In fareness, he Hs never publicly attacked Atiku. Infact, he openly congratulated Atiku when Atiku got the ticket, and even called Atiku his leader and his elder brother. Atiku has not congratulated him though.

To me, Peter Obi has betrayed Atiku just like he betrayed Ojukwu. And now, all he is doing now is to cannibalise Atiku's votes in the South East. He is just being a spoiler.
I will keep saying it, if you examine peter Obi, he has no integrity and lies effortlessly.

We are talking of professional institution (Nerc) and graduate u are talking of driver... do u know who a graduate is at all? AGAIN DONT BE INSENSITIVE,,,. Are u telling me there are no positions for fresh graduates? .... The most high flying institutions in the world today go into schools to persuade fresh graduates to come work and learn from them....giving the young opportunities and giving themselves(the institution) opportunities to "catch them young"... I just hope this system does find a way to reward people like you and put u in critical position... if not we are in for another buhari if not worse..... If the HR of Nerc cannot find a way to recruit fresh graduates and fit them in then they have failed.
The irony is most of the Uber and bolt drivers are graduates. You seem to think a degree is an entitlement to a job…..it is not!!!! You will learn sooner or later.

If any1 has any sense of entitlement that's u... Well I don't blame u at all....I know the reality but the truth is the truth..... Its crazy to ask for such requirements knowing the situation in Nigeria..... I doubt any sane climb puts age requirements as a means to filter down applicants. God Da and we go make am sooner rather than later... with or without white color jobs very legally.....
you are displaying entitlement. there are people with the requirements, why should they lower their standards for you. If you want to employ a driver will you employ a learner driver because driving school was closed?

Now you youth are realizing the damage succesive bad governments do to your futures and why it is important to vote good leaders not tribe or religion! ASUU has been on strike, youths are not protesting, university wants to raise fees, you protest. When they get tp 34, they will apply for job reuiring 9 years experience and they wont get it because thousands of their comtemporaries who went fee paying universities without strikes are ahead of them because they graduated when normal people should graduate.

For Npower?? Well I'm not surprised is it not the government of Nigeria again, anything is possible.... GOD DA, GOD GO BLESS OUR HUSTLE..... if u go find this guy out wherever he is today na through connect. He doesn't know what we are going through
Dont be annoyed but all that one is story. Now you understand the impact of bad governments in your lives and future. I dont mean to sound harsh or brutal but welcome to the real world!!! Nobody is going to care about your personal circumstances, an employer needs a graduate with 9 years experience aged 30-32, hundreds will apply, your application will most likely never be looked at because once they see your age or years of experience they will discard it and if it is a digital application and they are using HR software, the software will discard your application and not shortlist it. it is only if they dont have applicants that they will start to look therough those who dont meet the requirements but in a country where there are no jobs, that is unlikely...... thats the reality of recruitment and the job market. So instead of complaining, try and make up for your deficiencies, nobody cares it it was your fault or not. You dont meet the requirements, you dont meet the requirements.

i am not being insensitive, i am telling you the hard realities of life!!! You seem to have a sense of entitlement.

Age discrimination should be illegal, just like gender discrimination. Countries like South Africa, US, UK etc have laws against age discrimination.

For a country with a high population and a very competitive labor market, people should be evaluated on the basis of their competence and not their age
clearly you are not qualified for the job. if you are a graduate and you actually got a quality education, you will realize that if you have 9 years experience you will be at least 30. There is nothing illegal is asking for a certain number of years of experience.

Young Nigerians should realise no one owes you a job and an employer has a right to dictate the requirements for any position he wants to recruit. The employer knows the role and what qualifications/experience will satisfy the role.

It is incumbent on young Nigerians to know the job market is very competitive, you are competing with people who studied abroad that graduated at 20-23 and went straight to work. It is up to you to make sure you dont waste your youth....again no one owes you a job!!!

in this ASUU Nigeria or where?
be arguing there, people who went to schools where there were no strikes graduated at 21-23, the ones who got top grades were immediately recruited and have been working for 9 years. They only want 1 person, there are hundreds of people that meet the requiremtns, and they will choose 1.

I am not saying it is fair or not but that is the reality!!! There are people out there (hundreds) that meet the requirements and they are only looking for 1.

How can someone who is 30-32 years have 9 years working experience in Nigeria?

I don't know shaa.
They are trying to recruit the best, you are the ones who complain about inept imbeciles in government. A person who graduates at 21-23 should have 9 years experience by 32.

On Tuesday, the 14th of June, 2022, Mr. Peter Obi informed Nigerians via his twitter handle of his trip to Egypt, to understudy by what miracle the third biggest economy in Africa after South-Africa and Nigeria moved their power generation from 20,000 Megawatts to over 40,000 megawatts in four years. Ironically, Nigeria has remained fixated on 4,000 megawatts since Adam.

Photos below show Former Governor Peter Obi interacting with the top Executives and Engineers of the New Capital Power Plant in New Cairo, Egypt. The plant currently generates 4800 megawatts of electricity.

The same Ibos shouting Biafra, Kanu are the same ones shouting Obidient now…have you noticed the Biafra, Kanu, IPOB threads are now almost non existent. I am sure if you check the post history of the Peter Obi supporters, you will find they were the ones advocating Biafra and supporting IPOB a few years ago. Ibos move aimlessly without direction according to the prevailing wind and. By election time it will dawn on many Ibos that Obi has no chance and a vote for Obi is a wasted vote or an indirect vote for APC.

Either way when the history of 2023 elections are written after the post Morten, people will realize that Peter Obi not only jeopardized his political chances of becoming a VP but that of the SE of becoming president in 2027. Because the presence of Peter Obi in the race can and will only serve to nullify any PDP threat to the APC and it is too late to salvage.

Either APC wins or Atiku wins, if Atiku wins the next opportunity for a pure SE presidency is 2043, after Okowa completes 2 terms and the north another 2 terms. All thanks to peter Obi

Smart people who don't want to be undone by contractors (who want to manage scarce resources and achieve much with it) try to get the details and understand how things work so that contractors don't unduly inflate budgets. Umahi achieved a lot in infrastructure because the people he gives work cannot deceive him (guy him as we say it in this part of the world).

Learning of others did theirs with their tight budget is good in itself so contractors here won't start quoting inflated budget. It's on record that before South Africa 2010 world cup, SA government built 40k Megawatts with half of the amount Nigeria spent without getting up to 6k Megawatts.
