Some evidence exist that lends credence to the claim that Jesus existed. I think Tacitus' writings are more foolproof. But, they were all written long after Jesus supposedly died, so they are hearsay at best.

Abnormal in sexual context has never been seen in a positive light.
Normal in sexuality isn't a fixed point, it's a spectrum. So, saying a sexual orientation is abnormal maybe based on population size is wrong, that was why I made the AB negative blood group analogy.

Why I talk of MENSA is that it is popular and you guys can easily relate . Since there are more theists than atheists in these high IQ societies then it belies the claims made in the "research" . Even during the 20th century where atheists were preponderant due to the hegemony of the communist governments , the theists were still way more in these societies .

But nowadays , what it means to be intelligent is being seen differently . People are paying more attention to the emotionally and socially intelligent ones because according to researches such people are way more likely to succeed in their various endeavors . You don't need to have a high IQ to succeed in life as earlier thought .

Since you know that intelligence is much more than IQ, why are you bringing up MENSA?

I don't care about the religious affiliation of members of any high IQ society, it's just the notion that you're always repeating correlating IQ and intelligence that I want to address. IQ tests are not a universally accepted measure of intelligence.

From what I've read about them, they don't even use the most popular IQ tests by APA like WISC and WAIC, I dont even want to go into criticisms of standardized IQ tests.

And in case you don't know, it's not the only high IQ society, it's just the largest and oldest and these other groups also have their tests.

I understand your point. For any conclusion to be error proof, it must be backed by evidence. That doesn't stop anyone from coming up with ideas and hypotheses.

Evidence can be influenced by bias, that's why peer review is there to eliminate such.

As for my own personal hypothesis, sexual orientation is not a choice neither is it influenced by upbringing.

Right now the true scientific reason for LGBT is still unknown and have been the "opinions" of many but if you look at it logically and critically you would see the abnormality in it as it does not in any way fit into the human way especially since we are not hermaphroditic by nature but have fully formed individual sexual organs as male or female so it leans more towards a mental disorder.

You still haven't offered any compelling argument to make me believe that it's a mental disorder. According to proudafrogal post, for anything to be classified as a mental disorder, it should cause the person distress and prevent them from living a normal life.
The sex hormone thing isn't an argument because hormonal treatment for Homosexuality​ has been tried with devastating effects.

The mind is the seat of decision making so when the hormones are in error it would affect ones decisions mentally or cause a conflict in decisions that's why it's a mental disorder. It does not mean they are insane. Just that they have an impaired decision making process which results in an act known as homosexuality or LGBT.

There are so many hypothalamic-pituitary-testis/ovary axis sex hormone disorders with mental health implications that are still classified under endocrine​ disorders.

I do not have to spell it out for you sir. We both know that without the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which is produced by the hypothalamus testosterone would not exist. So ultimately the source of testosterone is from your hypothalamus which secretes GnRH. Which was why I said "the brain".

So, that we are clear, if it is found that an abnormality in the hypothalamic-pituitary-testis/ovary axis of sex hormones or any misreading of signals, then it's safe to say that it's a mental disorder?
