PoliticsRe: Oj Simpson In The Net At Last by Cayon(f): 8:03pm On Oct 04, 2008
OJ is a bumbbling jackass and i have no sympathy for him.  He got away with murder and he knew they were out to get him because they thought that he had killed one of their kind a white blonde.  Instead of him sit his ass down and keep out of trouble he kept getting more and more in trouble and always in the company of other blondes.  What an arrogant and stupid fool?

Surely he didn't expect to get away with his own "sting" with illegal guns knowing that the casino has dozens of surveillance cameras.  This A-hole  knowing how america feels about him goes and hold people against their will with guns claiming that they has his memorabilla instead of bringing the police to investigate. I am still in shock and awe b/c i just can't believe someone is that stupid

I hope they give him life

Bonding With Dad

A young boy asks his Dad, "What is the difference between confident and confidential.
Dad says, "You are my son, I'm confident about that. Your friend over there, is also my son, that's confidential!"

so instead of having a party my sister suggested a breakfast get together instead. It was sooooooo good. We had a full house and it was so good that I got a hug from my sister-in-law. Everything went but my cheesy christophene had everyone licking their fingers

1 lb christophene
4 oz cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 oz margarine
1 oz flour
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup milk

Wash, peel and slice the christophenes. Steam or boil christophenes. do not allow them to get soft. Slice or dice the christophenes. grate the cheese. Prepare a sauce: - Add 1/2 cup of water in which christophenes were cooked to the 1/2 cup of milk. Heat the margarine on a low fire. Add the flour and stir to a smooth paste. Add the milk, stirring until thick. Season to taste. Grease the baking dish. Add a layer of christophene, sprinkle with cheese and the with breadcrumbs. Pour on a little of sauce. repeat this procedure if necessary leaving a small quantitiy of cheese to sprinkle on top. Put to brown under a grill or in a moderately hot oven

Nimshi:
Interesting. A Moabitess is an ancestor of Jesus. Works pretty fine.

Now, a question for you. Er, that night Ruth spent at Boaz, what did you suppose happened. Read the text and get back. If pimping was part of the plan, you could tell. And, while you're at it, take a second look at your words: Boaz was first a bachelor, a successful man, and then a righteous man. Er, was that an arrangement based on priority, or sth? And, how come ". . . women had no legal standing of any kind . . . "; this was God's Perfect Law, no?
@nimshi

Please read the entire book of ruth to get the true story. Ruth set an example for us i.e not to have sex b4 marriage. Ruth and Boaz did not have sex until they were married. Its plain and simple in the Bible. So please don't try to insuniate that Ruth had sex with Boaz b4 they were married.

Even though I was encouraged so many times by my father and family (by father side) i never attended a mosque. however, i think with all the bickering on this form b/ween Christians and Muslims, I felt it necessary to visit a mosque. I wanted to personally experience, observe and most of all do it for my father.

I deliberately wore a knitted hat just to see the reaction. Well the moment I entered, I was greeted by a sister who gave me a head-scarf and helped me to learn how to place it appropriately on my head. I felt very uncomfortable at first but got so comfy that I forgot I was wearing the head-scarf. Oh did I mentioned I removed my shoes. Yes, Ola was right the mosques was fairly multicultural, and sure enough there were women from many different countries and backgrounds wearing different styles of Islamic clothing and hijab. Some were fully covered (if u know what i mean) from head to toe. I was greeted with smiles of welcome and I enjoyed seeing the different shades of skin of all ages in one room. That moment, my fear went straight through the window and love and warmth came into my heart. We were separated from the men but the message was clear where we were.

I was wondering if Ola told them I was coming grin b/c I felt the message was for me. He encourage us to enter worship positively and focused and not what we know as outside gossip (I think he meant the headline news, tv internet etc). Then we went into prayer. There was peace/unity.
On my way home, I felt bad about how silly I had been in my thoughts. To be honest, I was kinda a skeptical and thinking the worst thoughts. I was like suppose they capture me and didn't welcome me. I realized that despite my strong views toward discrimination, yesterday I myself had been the most discriminatory with a biased view. I am glad I chose to attend the mosque b/c I learned that they are no less peaceful than you or I, and neither more nor less ordinary than any member of the christian churches or should I say society.

I hope one day that all of us live in unity and peace whether we are blacks, whites, light-skinned Jews, Gentiles, Protestants, Muslims, Christian and Catholics.

One night a man had a dream.

He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.

Scenes from his life flashed across the sky
and he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
one belonging to him and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life had flashed before him,
he recalled that at the lowest and saddest times of his life
there was only one set of footprints.

Dismayed, he asked, "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
I don't understand why, when I needed you most,
you would leave me."

The Lord replied, "My precious child.
I love you and I would never leave you.

During your times of trial and suffering
when you saw only one set of footprints,

That was when I carried you."
