Now this problem is multifactorial. I don't know for how long you both have been married that you have issues with conception. Rom your post history, it is apparent that this man does not love you deeply as you love him. For him to try to call off the engagement 4 years into your relationship speaks volume of his "love" for you. But perhaps pleas from several sources including those he wouldn't say no to made him to reluctantly go ahead with the union (remember his heart and mind were already not with yours ever since he threatened to bail out on the engagement). Perhaps he had even met his mistress ever since then. That mistress may be diabolical, she may not be. Fast forward to now. Some decisions he may have taken, and definitely with the connivance or advice of his mistress is as follows: *Even if forced into the marriage because he couldn't refuse pleas from some people he held in high esteem, he can however FRUSTRATE you outta the marriage. *When it became apparent that that may not work because you kept entertaining his excesses and misdeeds without complain (you admitted that you "fight" a lot), the next plan is to bring up trumped up charges and then hinge a divorce on that reason. You did not err by telling your better half your secrets, but I think he simply needed the flimsiest of excuses to justify his plan to bail out on you so as to have his mistress move in as full housewife. Please note that your poor chances at conception may not exactly be due to an anatomic or physiologic problem with you. It may actually be due to the frequency of your sexual exposure to your husband. Medically, a couple is said to have the problem of infertility (primary or secondary) if there is no conception after a year of ADEQUATE sexual exposure; adequate in this instance means on the average 3 times in a week. But what manner of sexual intimacy and exposure do you think you can get from a husband who apparently has no love for you and whose sexual energy is channelled to his mistress outside instead? The last but not the least. Have you ever conceived before in which case yours will be secondary infertility? Was the conception your husband's and then you had to tell him and he suggested the choice of a voluntary TOP (termination of pregnancy) to you and which you obliged? If this happened while you were dating him or anyone else, being privy to such information may have given him the erroneous conviction that your inability to conceive was due to the procedure that may have "destroyed the womb". A made up mind like your husband's may be a difficult thing to change. You need to get your medicals to confirm the problem of infertility isn't yours (actually men are responsible for a sizeable percentage of infertility amongst couple but traditionally, the blame is always on the woman). And while you are at the medicals, equally endeavour to get screened for Lenteviral, Hepatitis and other STIs. Your husband has been unfaithful. You need to know your status. |
MelonTech:Yeah right. Nice story on the dream. I hope the woman didn't breastfeed you in the dream o ![]() |
Dabss:Eeya. Thanks. Unlucky me. Must have used it when GeeBeeTee (jibiti) dey vex. But they've actually pushed me to do something probably right, something I might not have accepted to do on a normal day - opening an account with StanbicIBTC. They made me to relax on my decision to boycott anything Southie, and more importantly made me to open one more account that may go redundant few months down the line. |
semasir:Run fi ya life! GTB was NGN313 to the dolls when I used it 5 days ago. I have gone ahead to open an account in StanbicIBTC on Wednesday. The debit card is not due till next week Friday. |
frebor:What we need 'em to relax on immediately is their competition with BDCs. They should bring their exchange rates to sane levels. Then guys can negotiate relaxation of their other strangulating policies. |
Stanley08:Lol. You wish. For ya mind. |
ozor1:I need some clarification please. I hope to open a PayPal (of course Nigerian PayPal account), then open a StanbicIBTC account (due to their competitive and favourable current exchange rate), then have the two linked for online transactions (majorly purchases on 1688, Aliexpress et al). My question goes thus: In cases of trades going sour and I needing to open trade disputes in which money will have to be refunded to me, will I get my PayPal account successfully credited with the refund keeping in mind that Nigerian PayPal has restrictions on getting credited from outside with other currencies? I currently use my card (GT, Heritage and Ecobank, in that order) directly for such transactions and I have had several monies refunded back to me for undelivered goods and services. Crediting my GT card with such refunds have been mostly breeze and easy with SMS notification with immediate alacrity, then Heritage card with some delays while Ecobank never gives me notifications on such credit, but I only notice some increase in my account balance when I check it. This attitude of Ecobank keeps me in the dark as to how exactly was refunded which makes me suspicious that they always acted fraudulent with retrieving that refund for me. I need to be sure that using PayPal will be a nice experience as that of GT notification. Thank you. |
gbodimowo:The way the guy holds brief for GeeBeeTee (jibiti) Bank here, one would believe that he either works for them or he is their eye on this thread. Mstcheeew. |
Why use a white-complexioned guy? Why not black Jesus? Blacks should be proud of their skin for goodness sake. |
iceberryose:Konga prices remained constant all thru the naira crash. In fact there was a mail Jumia sent to me where they wrote "Dollar rises, but our price falls, buy your products now" |
Ecoterrorism:If he had been arrested before the Benue elections, some unnamed group would have cried foul - that he is being witch-hunted for being the campaign manager of a man from the opposition. |
Stanley08:What he spent to and fro may not really matter in this context. What is important is that he did not condone wrong and fraud by his bank and he was able to make them stop the wrong and do what is right. That is satisfying in itself considering the fact that Nigerian banks are fraudulent institutions. I still am pissed off with Ecobank seriously. Would have unleashed my vituperations and justified anger on 'em but for the fact that their mails go unanswered and they do not have an over-the-counter direct call line to their Lagos head office like GTB does in most of their branches. |
didymario7:Ecobank did that to me. GTB refunded me at their own current exchange rate so I made some extra. The refunds were for monies of items that were failed to be delivered from China, so the refund wasn't an immediate one but occurred after weeks of payment. That of GTB last occurred about four weeks ago sha. I can't say if they've been infected by the Ecobank fraud virus. NB: With the renewed encouragement that customers should report fraudulent bank activities and illegal charges to the CBN, I suppose this can be reported too, right? |
modath:As far as StanbicIBTC is concerned, what's their naira rate to the dollar on online transaction? Is it competitive with other banks? Last I did with Aliexpress on GBT is 248, but someone says it's now 300. |
yinkeys:Dang! Think I gotta temporize with this online purchases thingy. |
Kachisbarbie:You're correct. I don't think it was GTB directly. Payment was to Alibaba using GT MasterCard. 284 to the dollar. Ecobank is useless, daylight robber, fraudster bank, I passionately detest that bank for defrauding me on the use of their MasterCard with hidden charges. When I get refunds of dollars back from sellers into my account, GTB credited me at the current prevailing rate the bank charges. Fraudster Ecobank on the contrary pay refunds back into my account based on 198/199 to the dollar even though they charged me higher for the initial transaction. Who does that?! |
ajebuter:And how much were those before now? |
Kachisbarbie:Up till yesterday, GTB charged me 284 to the dollar. |
daking4:Airbus |
Pebcak:Sorry to burst your bubble. I have seen a Honda pilot, yes an SUV threw the left wheel out like a cripple before. That day that I knew it was not limited to only Honda saloons was the day I gave up on having any Honda vehicle in my fleet. Even I wouldn't do Acura for a million dollars. |
valnelly:In this case, seeing the face partially may not make identification easy. A face recognition software will come in handy, matched with central database of pictures. That is what those police videos on SONY MAX use that even blurry videos still produce the identity of suspects. Nigerian police lack the knowledge of the use of CCTV tech let alone face recognition software. |
airsaylongcon:Thank you. That is what I wanted to insinuate. The guy apparently had a UBA staff ID which would easily sway an unsuspecting victim. Now the question is how many staff are in the bank that the real staff would not be able to identify an outsider flaunting their ID card as an impostor? Inefficiency and irresponsibility is what I call it. On the flip side, do they have a video of when the secretary handed over the money to the suspect? A video showing that may be the only thing that can prove she is telling the truth at the moment. |
ernecy:Remind me again. Who was aptly referred to as "ineffectual buffoon"? Err, never mind. |
What is next? A water na. Make dem start agitation to hoard the waters that are abundant in their region and also for the resource control of the marine products thereof. Maybe they will get enough fishes to sell for huge profit. And they should please carry Tompolo and Asari dem along in their agitation o. |
anonimi:Did you really bother to read the body of the newspaper strip you uploaded there, huh? I pity you for your serious laziness and lack of comprehension. |
EternalTruths:Yep. He asked himself serious questions about the capability of GEJ and so he took his entitled decision; and guess what? He had six years to reach that decision which to me is not a hasty one. Not everyone has to go your own way. |
That power bank contains a LI-Ion battery which makes it a highly volatile and explosive pack. It's the same unstable component that makes up the cell phone batteries, reasons why explosions usually occurs endangering the users that misuse such products. Note that these categories of batteries are usually safe when used correctly. I am always very careful when experimenting with battery packs containing Li-ion and it is always advisable to have a container of sand hand when working with Li-ion batteries (Do not try to extinguish fires from Li-ion using water as more reactions occur that increase the conflagration). The same Li-ion batteries are contained in Laptop batteries and is different from the Lithium Polymer in that torchlight which is a safer but less efficient battery. |
slapandfall:I understand she has something for politicians. |
Querty:But millions of Nigerians have been moving around dejected, sad, impoverished and some bereaved as a result of the deliberate oversight and inadvertence of Okonjo and the government she worked for. So except you prefer to see one person's happiness ensured at the expense of million others, how d'you reconcile that? NB: Nairalanders want an honest answer and not a secessionist idea. |
hertheytheydgee:She be like "lemme enjoy myself to the fullest now jàre. Person no fit watch movie for EFCC custody or Naija prison". |
BrianRoss:You mean Okonjo?! |
Darlduchi:Hehehehe. Na wa o. Very amusing and comedic. Alibaba got nothing in you bro. |
