imagrg:Windows phone 8.0 to 8.1 is about 900mb size. MSFT will prefer you use WiFi to download that much data, hence the continual request that you connect to WiFi. There are other critical but minor updates that are around 60-200mb. You are allowed to download those ones using your cellular data. What you can do now is to get your sim into another windows or android phone, switch on the WiFi sharing on that phone and connect your Lumia to it. Alternatively, if you use Glo and you don't wanna remove your micro sim from your L822, you can share your 1 gig thru datashare to another Glo SIM on any Windows phone or android device, then get your L822 connected to their broadcasted WiFi. |

arazanbal:I had 4G available on my L920 the moment I updated from WP8.0 to WP8.1. Not long afterwards, I was notified of a "critical update" for WP8.1 developers preview yo upgrade from Cyan to Denim. And zap! The 4G just disappeared after the update. I was seriously pained meeen. So watch it bro. |

Skills102:This is what you do in case of Microsoft office documents. Open the office app in your phone. Then locate the document and long-press on it. You get the options in screenshot. Select "share" and you have the options to share including thru e-mail. To share from the phone file system, get Microsoft "files" app installed on your device. You can then manage your files therein, including sharing them. Here are some file managers that are good. arazanbal:Really some submissions on this forum has been misleading people. Windows 10 (update to windows 7/8.1) for PC and tablet form factors is what is released this month. Windows phone 10 OS official release isn't due till October. |

By the way, opera mini update was released yesterday. Noted changes include the movement of the "ellipses" tab from the right lower side to the centre. Also "private tabs" for incognito browsing appears included.

abduldope:As per the opera mini, it still saves files like pictures, pdfs, docx for me. Though I don't use it to download movies and music as I make use of UC browser for that. But in my own experience with Opera mini in downloading files, once your device is in battery saver mode, it will only enqueue the file but fail to download it, even if the application (opera mini) is currently open. If you now head to downloads in the app and check our the list, I get something like "please connect to network". If you diagnose this as the problem that prevents your download, you can enable Opera mini to also "work in battery saver mode" by heading to battery saver in settings and locating opera mini among the running apps. |

Unseen:That is Windows 10 for desktop PCs and tablet form factor devices. Windows phone 10 official release is not due till September or thereabout. However if you wanna experience it before then, you can subscribe to technical preview. I read that the current build released, though unfinalized is very stable and user friendly. |

I'm sure the third party agent shipping price of that is gonna be scary. So what d'you advice? Also could you interprete this to me: "1pc/box, 8pcs/carton, GW: 29.5Kg" Also this: "10pcs/CTN/0.09CBM, GW: 35kg" My understanding of it: Is that GW (Gross weight) of 29.5kg that of the 1pcs per box or of the 8pcs per carton? And please what is this CBM sef? "Continental Ballistic Missile or wetin ?Those are the quotations given to me by a seller and I don't wanna ask her to avoid being seen as a newbie to be cheated. |

AleAirHub:Hi. I got an alibaba FOB quote for an item as usd174. I then asked the seller to get the shipping costs. He now quoted an additional usd200 via DHL. My question: Is the shipping price on alibaba not always included in the FOB? For the records, I'm mostly used to Aliexpress. I'm just but a noob and newbie to Alibaba. |

Ernestprinze:These numbers may not be real tracking numbers. This is cos most numbers for international tracking usually end with two alphabets which aid as codes to narrow down the search processes to specific shipping lines. I believe you must have been notified by the sellers beforehand. In some stores, when the item cost less than $10 or $13 dollars for some, there will be no tracking numbers and what you are given will be dummies. That does not imply you won't get the said items. I have gotten up three of such "untracked" items that even got delivered by as fast as 13 to 16 days after shipping - much faster than some with tracking numbers. However I have noticed one isolated case of such number devoid of alphabets. But the seller gave me the website to track it with (Yanwen post, if I recollect correctly), and surprisingly it worked. Nevertheless, to be sure, you may have to head back to "Manage my orders" on your profile at aliexpress and chat up the seller that gave you those numbers. Ask him/her to provide you with the websites to track the numbers. |

blueheart:*I think "Unsuccessful delivery" is insignificant especially if you've taken delivery of the item. There are three items I had taken delivery of over the past 5 months and if I track it today, I get "unsuccessful delivery attempt" as the last recorded event. Have you taken delivery of the item? *From personal experience, even if the shipping address is in the clouds, as long as it is within Nigeria, the first event when it reaches the country usually reads "Item delivered at Lagos customs". Once it clears custom, it is dispatched to the various post offices closest to the delivery address all over the country. From experience, the moment my mobile application alerts me of "Lagos custom arrival", I just give an extra 3 to 7 days to lay hands on the parcel and usually within those days, the post office calls to notify me to come take my parcel. For me, this has mostly worked for tracking numbers that end with CN, NL, and SG for China post, Netherland post and Singapore posts respectively. However there are two items bought from the same seller over different periods (I later discovered it was the same seller). This is over four months now and I had even gotten approval for another 30 days extension of "customer protection" from the guy. This is because I'm yet to get both items despite the fact that according to tracking, they arrived Nigerian customs within two weeks of shipping (3 months ago now). The tracking numbers ends with "YW" for Yanwen. I have since gotten wary of tracking numbers that end with that. If by next week the parcel is yet to get to me, I plan to demand from the seller a refund or else "open dispute" 3 Likes |
