Alfabest07:Your bank, UBA àbí, probably did something wrong. Refunds are made based on the prevailing exchange rate and unless the rate reduced between when you made the purchase and the refund, then there is no reason why your refund should be less than you paid; at worst, it should be at the same rate. So it's either your initial calculation of the amount paid was incorrect or your bank charged you much more than the prevailing exchange rate with other banks at that time, and now that they refund you, they've probably downward-reviewed their rate or they are doing it at a rate that is at par with other banks. Forget all these that rate of buying is less than rate of selling, I don't know that to apply to AE transactions. My own experience has always been that I get higher amount with refund than I paid because as per 9ja, whatever goes up (exchange rate) does not come down. |
You don't need to do that. because i once read a nairaland post on how a guy bought his panels and fixed it himself after going through the manuals. You have already answered the question here. DIY is the way. Becoming a big time installer is not what you can learn in 6 months, it requires longer time, experience and interacting with experienced installers. You can learn basic knowledge about solar without spending so much. Resources abound online. Here is a link on NL to pick up bits and pieces about solar. It may take sometime to get the most of the knowledge you require, but it's better that way. https://www.nairaland.com/390522/solar-energy-complement-fta/1115#390522.35701 I will suggest you use your savings for a small business. |
Did Isa Pantami apologise to Nigerians for supporting radical Islam? No, I he didn't. North and their hypocrisy sha. That notwithstanding, Tinubu, Shey una see uns life. Person wey dey live for glass house nor dey throw stone. You made such pronunciation a few years ago, but apparently you're now blind to still see that the statement has automatically set you back, for if you are a man of principle, you will not aspire to become the president of an entity you do not belive in. Of course, all your rants about Buhari that time still did not stop you, because of political "expediency" from pushing him to Nigerians twice. So which principled person will do that which you did? |
mctfopt:Chinese love their holidays so much and don't usually joke with it, cos it's a time to get off hardwork. However I have had seller ship my items and even responded to my messages during their holidays. So I usually don't fret or under pressure if I place order within that period, except I need the item urgently and it is a must that it be shipped at once. In most cases, I haven't experienced shipping delays during their holidays. |
zekanem:Well then. I think the RB....SG will determine the movement. Good thing that both show the same tracking info. I think this further strnghtens my suspicion that LP.... and RB are both of Singaporean origin. 4px will come in at intervals during the logistics and you will see this in the tracking info. And like I said earlier, this happens with other logistics as well including speedaf. 4px may be something like intermittent dispatch riders that use motorcycles, I think. Primary 4px parcel takes forever. Maybe na because of the Okada wey dem dey use dey make the thing tey. Like say dem dey take okada carry am from Singapore enter Nigeria. |
Pussyassniggar:For yours, the logistics is mainly speedaf, but they make use of 4px intermittently. Other logistics including SingPost have 4px interspersing their tracking info at some points. But when it is majorly/primarily 4px item, (I always had the impression that 4px is unregistered SingPost, I may be wrong though), then I usually activate my "patience button". |
Meister: Poopypants:Who uses 4px (LP00....) for a mobile phone? That logistics takes forever to arrive coupled with NIPOST issues. I hope the seller has not mistook his order for something else, maybe something like a mobile phone case or screenguard |
zekanem:Bros, this your issue tie wrapper, e con tie gèlè join am. How are the buyers' reviews on the seller? It is also possible that the cancellation was due to your request on change of address. But I have not seen where unregistered tracking number LP... is used to ship phones. Even the RB....SG (singPost) tracking number for a mobile phone appears more credible than this new one. Keep your communication with the seller alive until he has a convincing explanation to give. |
dollarnaira:With CC and battery kwa? on top say person wan buy solar panel. Who go come help una carry the panel hol for the direction of the sun? ![]() |
chris81964: ![]() Na facility manager dey perform magic, or so it seems. Diesel supply has been reduced and bọ̀bọ́'s illegal side hussle don dey affected. So the next thing na to sabotage. Lol. I'm just laughing like crazy here. Oga Chris, the table you're shaking, na the manager dey on top the table ò. Just hope that the next time you'll be called, it is not to be informed that the whole set up don explode. The guy may be seriously thinking to commit arson as a way to getting his diesel supply runz back in total control. E fit just wake up one day, pour petrol inside the inverter come garnish am with match ![]() |
In years to come, the Northerners will likely begin to beg people to relocate back to their region. The North is trending towards being a ghost region. At least I know several civil servants including nurses that have relocated back to southern Nigeria having been chased by the unrest and insecurity pervading the place. D'you remember the story of that baptist boys school abduction and the subsequent ransom and purchase of motorcycles for the bandits, yes. Right now, four of the kids have been brought to Lagos by their parents and have been enrolled into schools there. Neither the parents nor the kids have ever being to Lagos before, but they have no choice but to desert the North because the place is dangerous to their continued existence. Now the effects of this emigration on the North, if you care to know, includes but not limited to reduced labour force, reduced development index, IGR, standard of living, reduced investment etc. The moment Nigeria divides into regions or true federalism becomes entrenched (either of the two is gonna happen soon), most States in the North risk being non-viable. |
Augustine Eguavoen acting responsibly. A lot of factors may have been responsible for Super Eagle's poor outing (including the popularly believed Buhari's phone call jinx to the players). But he did not try to shift blames to credibly deserving quarters, rather he took sole responsibility because he was responsible for the team, as the coach. How I wish Nigerian politicians can be this reasonable too. |
Tinubu should just go and relax. He doesn't appear to be a fovourite of majority of Nigerians or across the nation. The baggage that trail him is too much such that Nigerians are being careful not to repeat the same mistake they made with Buhari. |
Now that Buhari phoned the Super Eagles before their match against Tunisia, victory is looking so remote. Anthony Joshua visited him (Buhari) before his last match. We all know how it ended for Joshua. |
Keemie:But why is the colour of "before" and "after" different nau? Keemie:Hmmm. |
h360d:And God help him that the owner of the card is a friend or at least a trustworthy person otherwise hin don already do giveaway be that. Worse is if it is one of those random guys that that pop in here once in a while and are quick to advertise here about helping people pay for items on AliExpress. And I suspect something. If it happens that the third party card he used is just one of those guys, then it's possible that the owner of the card quickly disabled the payment shortly after the order was placed. This will make "verification of payment" to be unsuccessful. It takes AliExpress between minimum of few seconds to maximum of 24hrs to verify payment after making an order and then the status of the item changes to "waiting to be shipped". But if the verification post-payment is unsuccessful, then the order becomes "closed". Meanwhile he must have paid the 3rd party guy immediately the order went thru, not waiting for the verification to be completed. This is likely to be what happened... Edited: I can see he already chatted with the swimmer. So it's likely that verification was successful. @Op should just try to contact the owner of the card if he wants to get back his money. |
See me rushing here to see the real sacrifice as per confessions. Even when I read "at 1am", I said within me, oboy na true true this man dey do ritual o. Only to read the last part he said "it's hard work". Leaving the thread disappointed. |
This seems to be targeted at Tinubu. |
Fayrouzz:Okay. I understand now. Just chat up the seller and let him know your mind. He will probably have some ways to lessen the burden. Some prices of items on AE are negotiable, especially the shipping prices. You see I actually realized that you can haggle on AE too, and sellers are also reasonable enough to reduce price for buyers that have the time to haggle prices. I have gotten 1 usd, 1.5 usd discount here and there from haggling prices with sellers. But I mostly don't have the time. It is much easier to haggle with sellers that are either always online or that read their messages quite often. If you try that with sellers that visit their inbox once in two weeks, then you go wait taya. |
xamiel4:They were all NG...E, but probably in combined delivery tagged NG...R. If it was just NG...E, the call will most likely come from NIPOST, and that won't be 10th of January, more likely 10th of March, the future. |
generalstingz:What's the price like? |
OlympiadTutor:Verification has been completed. Now I'm trying to add P2P payment method and I'm again having challenge with receiving SMS from binance on my line, just like it happened with Kuda. Unfortunately, voice verification is said to be presently unavailable on binance. The two mobile lines I have are airtel and glo (my official number), and even sef, I don port the glo number to airtel tey tey, so technically I have two airtel lines. I will prefer to use my official phone number for verification than any other numbers. Whats the way forward now ó? And how do I fund my purse to start trading? I want to purchase coins. |
"Deader" than dead sef. |
First, I notice people here calling it Female Genital Mutilation. It is no longer termed FGM. It is now called Female Genital Cutting. This is because it is not a "mutilation" of the Instruments as the first name suggest because it is only the xlitoris that is cut. Second, I noticed some people here comparing FGC to male circumcision and therefore trying to justify the former. The two procedures are quite different and the intention is different as well. Male circumcision involves cutting off the excess skin off of the male penile cap. It provides a more cleaner look to the organ and also prevents the buildup of dirt in the area (dirt easily build up in the crevices created by the excess skin if thorough cleaning is not done everytime). This reason also underlies why there is greater incidence of STIs with uncircumcised males and subsequent spread of the STIs compared to circumcised males. Male circumcision literarily further exposes the sensitive part of the p3nis to more stimulation and greater pleasure. The excess skin if not removed may serve as a damper by covering the sensitive frenulum much like a condom dampens pleasure. But the female genital cutting literarily does the opposite. It also adds more discomfort like scarring and occasionally dyspareunia (painful s3x) because the the male hip grinds against a scarred clitoral tip during intercourse. Of course this only applies with the missionary style. Other styles like the reverse cowgirl or rear entry style that does not directly stimulate the clitoris will avoid that. Note that clitoral stimulation is not the only way the female enjoys s3x. The center of gravity (which can't be cut off sef) is there. Also the dyspareunia occurs in few cases and therefore proves the failure of FGC in preventing promiscuity. Comparison of a population of circumcised females and uncircumcised group shows no significant difference in propensity to have s3x. Hence the tendency for promiscuity is not different for both groups. Edited: See me see trouble o. Nairaland don change "G-sp0t" to center of gravity. The programmers are olodo if that is the best they can come up with. center of gravity kọ́, Arc of identity ni. |
Other items recovered include one itel phone, one techno phone, 2 sharp knives and 2 military headwarmers.Itel phone. Techno phone. I techno and Itel team are clean ó, unlike nasco cornflakes manufacturers that are said to be sponsoring terrorism in Nigeria. Rats. As dem collect ransom reach, dem no fit buy Samsung GS21plus or even Tesla Phone, a preorder I mean. |
Please can we attach Buhari's head to a VR device, or is it the other way round now? Anything to just teach him to do the right things and take the right decisions and to dk his job in building the country normally. |
ikennamadu1:That is if Boko Haram, ISIS or bandits do not get to him before then. Or kidnappers hol am and collect all the entire savings that he should have used to go for PhD in unilorin. |
TooNoisy:Someone that should still be receiving lashes of the cane as discipline is trying to batter a lady, nonsense kid. But again it looks like it's an act for the gram cos those blows are more or less not maximal. And I hope it's just acting. More so, Akin's friend filming such scenario, if it's indeed real knows that he is exposing his friend to litigation with all those video evidence, so it may be just the guys acting some drama for you tube or the SM. Edited: You Tube has the video flagged and removed, apparently for "violence against women". I'm still praying that it is just a skit, otherwise that boy must hear am. On the flip side, there is another you tube video of Nigerian soldiers maltreat in a Nigerian man. But that video keeps gathering more views and YouTube doesn't seem to see anything wrong with the "violence against male gender" that it portrays. https://www.nairaland.com/6949699/soldiers-order-man-swim-dirty https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dh-UTK5f3N8 |
