Poopypants:According to some people here, the problem is be aude you paid for "free shipping". You should have paid for proper shipping and "have your items delivered to your door". Excusing the inefficiency of NIPOST by blaming the buyer. earthrealm:I'm not sure it has much to do witb the buyer's status. I am diamond member and still subject to the regular shipping on AE. It has to do with the size of the item, it seems. Smaller items ordinarily go the way of untracked shipping except you paid premium on AESS to have it registered. Bigger items usually go the way of NG....R Also in certain cases where you have several NG....E or LP... items sent from sellers to AE at the same time, AE may upgrade all items to combined parcel/delivery under the NG...R tag. You receive all items in one envelope/bag. |
Ray1251:I took delivery of a Lenovo BT earbuds about a week ago. I noticed it sounded way better than the Xiaomi I got 5 weeks ago. It also has in-built microphone, so you can still communicate calls while your phone is within BT distance unlike the xiaomi where you'll need to use the mic of the phone to communicate your phone calls. Connection is perfect for both. You can also use either one or both earbuds at a time. The button for the Xiaomi is hardware button, only on the right earbud. The one for the Lenovo is soft touch and on both earbuds, hence there is tendency for more accidental presses with this especially when trying to rẹ-adjust the buds in your ear. For both, usage time at around 70% volume is like 4hrs after full charge. About 12hrs without music. The case for the Lenovo has a LED indicator which changes colour according to charging status (I prefer this). The Xiaomi has no external led and you can only tell if the earbuds are charging by opening the case. The only glitch I noticed when using the Lenovo is that the music tracks jumps like it was set on radom play mode. I have not tried it with other music apps or other phones to establish if it's a major problem or an app specific software-hardware glitch. The app I used then was Musixmatch. As for the Xiaomi, it's all good, but the bass and volume does not match up to the lenovo's.

Gideonanj21:For those of us not on Instagram or Twitter, how do we "@" them? Or maybe I will send you my tracking numbers so you'll help me hala dem on your account? |
jboixxx:And I am boiling right now with your insistence on faulting the buyer. Shey SingPost parcels delivered late by NIPOST are also free untracked shipping, according to you, àbí? And worse is that the tracking will never update beyond "arrived country of destination" either it got lost in transit or if it eventually gets to you. So that untracked SingPost is also free shipping àbí? The truth is one cannot be the devil's advocate in bliss; for a time will come that the devil himself will not spare you his punch. |
Ddmon:You were asked to pay customs and handling fees which you did, according to your narration. So its not possible for customs to again seize an item you've already cleared from them, except they later discover it to be contraband. So it's either the money you sent to Ace logistics for customs clearing was not paid to customs and so the item remained uncleared and eventually seized or someone along the way after customs clearing decided to steal your package (after discovering it was a mobile phone) and then gave you a wrong lead/tracking number to a different item that has truly been delivered. If you have evidence of payment of the monies for customs clearance, you must not let the gut of that ACE logistics test. Disturb their peace until they fish out your item or refund to you the item price money - look for what the actual price is, not minding its a gift - plus the customs clearing money (all join) Thieves all over the place. Mstcheeeew! Katherine98:Bro, your item is with post office, going by the tracking number. But with them, patience is the key. With NIPOST, you may get your items in two months or three months after that last update. Just watch out for purchase protection so that you open trqde dispute for full refunds as soon as is necessary. |
Dam5reey:And think of selling off a kidney first. Na frustrations from Nigerian customs and devilish import duty will make one tire. Dam5reey:Good way to go about it. |
Bigredmachine:I agree with all you said. Everyone is in danger with the increased quest for sudden wealth and the choice of festish and diabolical rituals as a means to achieve it. Ladies become particularly more endangered because of the twist of romance that goes along with it. You will have to force a guy to submission to have his head removed for ritual, but a lady will easily fall in love with a ritualistic or even a known yahoo guy, making harvesting organs easier. I'll still want to maintain that she probably has seen some signs that the dude isn't straightforward though. Guys are poor pretenders and poor discerners while ladies are great pretenders and excellent discerners of character. Ladies are gifted to tell a good man from a bad man. Even on a first date, the lady will have usually made up her mind 70% to either continue with a guy she just met. By then, they'll know if he is an "akagum", a generous guy, a hard guy, a simp, a considerate, a soft or a gentle guy. But usually, the bad man (erroneously considered by the ladies as the "alpha male" ) carries the day getting their rapt attention while the good man usually takes the non-chalant end of their attention. Only a few number of ladies will be satisfied with settling for a good man not minding that he doesn't display the so called "alpha" (wrongly used to qualify being domineering, stubborn or emphatic) attitude. |
Valto:How do we know the respective authorised dealer, biko? At least for those of us far from Lagos and with no luxury of doing window shopping there. |
ojeysky:Abeg Ojes, LFP price don come down? Because I used to know 12v/100ah to be around 140k to 150k o. It's like you forgot to calculate the price of BMS and enclosure with it. olopan:This is seriously annoying. This is even worse than being sold a lemon. Why not let a client know the options available and then let them make an informed choice? Sadly we can't purchase panels directly ourselves from overseas or even buy solar cells and DIY like it can be done with Lithium batteries. It would have cut down chances of falling into the hands of these fraudsters. Inverters, Lithium cells, controllers, switches, meters can all be personally ordered from reputable manufacturers and bypass fraudulent middle marketers. But solar panels, no hope yet. I guess we still have to hope reputable dealers maintain their reputation and sincerity. |

Kikibanki:Good thing he personally suggested that the item may have been lost in transit. So it's now for you to also suggest to him to do the follwimg: 1. Re-send a new item with a valid tracking number sent to you so that you're able to follow it every step of the way. 2. That you think you should open a trade dispute for refund and will be glad if he readily accepts your proposal in the trade dispute - "refund all monies". If he agrees on either option, please remember to also reassure him that in case the item first item (deemed lost) eventually arrives at your doorstep, you will get in touch with him to pay back the monies refunded. Since you said tracking was stuck at "despatched to overseas", I'll wager that it must be Singapore Post handling it. Now that may also pose the same problem with a replacememt item sent which will likely be sent via Singapore Post too. So your best bet may be to just to settle for refund of monies. And if you're still interested in the item, you can scout around for another seller that may not likely use Singapore Post. |
Tesla to buy Mercedes Benz This will propel Tesla to majorly manufacturing on three continents of Asia, North America and Europe. While VW made a quick entrance into Battery Electric Vehicle space, BMW and Mercedes Benz were foot dragging. Now the greatest fear of legacy automakers being taken over by electric startups is unveiling. 2022 is gonna be pretty exciting in the electric vehicle space. I seriously hope we can begin investing in this sector (I for one won't mind owing a purely BEV - not even hybrid). If tesla is outside reach at the moment, BYD is one Electric car company that is promising to make owing a BEV a walk in the park. It can at least help in short distance commutez in the light of the useless fuel price hike that is soon to bedevil the citizens. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJBaxUg67S8 |
Sad. This buyer must have fallen for the "please close dispute and we will send a new replacement" gimmick of AliExpress sellers. At times, they add the "please dispute will affect our ratings so be kind enough to close it" beggy beggy. After closing dispute and your purchase protection expires, the sheep begging you suddenly turns to a tiger and will not reply your messages again. And the annoying part is that this particular useless seller still has to shamelessly type exactly the same plea as a follow up comment to the buyer's lamentation. Something like rubbing salt on the wound. People, please when you open disputes in which you have a clear advantage, no amount of begging from the seller urging you to close the dispute as a condition to send a replacement or as a condition to send you back your money should sway you. Also do not discuss with the seller outside of AliExpress messaging app except to exchange videos which the chatting app is not capable of providing. Do not agree with any seller to have refunds done on PayPal. In fact by the time the seller asks you to close dispute and suggests that you should drop your PayPal account for payment, you either tell him off or you just ignore him outrightly. In worst case scenario, ask the seller to do the following, in these particular steps: ° Extend your purchase protection for another 4 weeks (in case you have short days remaining). 4 weeks should be enough for you to continue discussion with the seller and to verify the validity of the tracking number of any replacements he claims to have sent. After approving extension of protection (with evidence of notification from AE and verification on the item info), then you can cancel the dispute. ° Then ask him to send the replacement as promised. Tell him to provide you with an authentic and valid tracking number of the newly sent item. You should be able to see the destination country in a few days (though not fool proof yet as it may be a tracking number to another Nigerian buyer in Kano whereas you're in Bayelsa). By the end of the second week, and depending on how fast the shipping company is, you should be able to tell via the tracking info if the item is headed to Kano or to you in Bayelsa. ° After he extends purchase protection you can cancel dispute. If you suspect another foul play after you have canceled dispute, you have the whole of 4 weeks extension to consider slamming him with another dispute. Of course all your chats must come in handy as uploaded evidences to AE arbitration team.

This you tuber no get joy. This is a devastating news so why did he miss out on the theme music? The theme music for his you tube video should be one of melancholy rather than that rock raggae music he chipped in later in the video. It paints him as insensitive. |
isangjohnson:Nice install. I don't know or is it just me, but I like to make sure my Inverter is as close to the battery as much as possible so that the shortest possible cable connection is needed. I believe the battery could have better been placed below that busbar which will ensure a shorter distance rather than another 2 meters from the busbar. Also it would ensure better aeration and noxious gas dissipation at that position rather than the current position where it is almost going into an enclosed space. Except maybe to avoid corrosion of the other components from gasses being produced from that kind of batteries. That may justify that extra distance. Perhaps the installer had that in mind. |
Dam5reey:Wàhálà no dey finish. ![]() You may both be right, but it's permissible that a superior argument carries the day. And I think his was an honest error which he will be willing to correct going forward. The rush to determine consumption as a golden basis of solar usage can sometimes bring out that mistake. But at some point, you get to know that the wattmeter function starts at the AC output of the inverter. 1. Did we learn everything you know about solar in one day? 2. Can anyone and especially to those we see as experts here swear never to have asked or sought clarification here on particular challenges in the solar journey, even while donning their level of mastery? 3. Do we believe that we've known it all and can NEVER need clarifications from anyone here again? 4. Were we dressed down by any respondents here when No. 2 happened? 5. Would we like to be dressed down when the opposite of no 3 happens? 6. Do we even believe that it can be proven that 2+2 does not equal 4, either now or in the future when an overriding superior theorem is proposed? Four centuries ago, it was an error, nay, a crime deserving death to say the earth was round because the "fact" then was that it was "flat". And the person that proposed it then "based on his findings" was silenced. Few months ago, my ward came home to say according to her teacher, we have nine planets (these were the "facts" we were taught almost three decades ago). But I corrected her that one has been removed is no longer fully qualified to be termed a planet, hence the current eight. I carefully added that when she gets to school the following week, she should tell her teacher, not emphatically but suggestively, that "she thinks" we have eight because my daddy "thinks" so too. Now that was a less condescending way to pass across the currently presiding fact and I'm pretty sure that teacher will not feel slighted and will at her leisure verify that "suggested" contradiction to what she believe held true. Everyone goes home happy at the end of the day. I (and most likely majority of us here) was exposed to the Nigerian system of education which takes everything "as a fact" and does not encourage research nor admit possible contrary opinion. It became worse while being trained as a physician in the tertiary level because then you were expected to see your teachers as a demi-God that can make you if you kowtow or mar your future if you try to prove smart. An adventurous intellectual will be significantly limited and restricted under such conditions. Exposure to the west gave an entirely different scenario. There, if a professor asks what 2 plus 2 is and a student responds 3, he (the teacher) will likely say to the student, "that was a nice try, but just a little off the target. How about we try 4, cos that's what I know it to be". If by any chance of luck, 2 plus 2 has recently been accepted as 3 without the professor knowing and the student insist on his answer, he will simply respond that he would love to learn from that student why the answer has to be 3 instead of 4 that he knows. I came back with this mentality and it has greatly and joyfully positively impacted my interactions both with everyday acquaintances and with specific meets. @dollarnaira. Now that the error about the watt meter usage has been known, I think its only fair to put the more correct ratings especially for the sake of newbies who wants to purchase from you. Forgive my diatribe everyone, I just can't help passing thru without chipping something in. |

adamsmith914: Well its obvious that engaging in reasonable, insult-free discuss isn't your strong point. The way you jump about every thread and posts like a kangaroo in heat to hurl invectives at anyone who appears not to align with your idol proves that to be true. But I'll leave you with these few goldens. ° You apparently try to see yourself in other people, and wrongly so. That is why you would think I'm a tribalist and a wailer, not minding my deposition up there that pointed to the fact that I'm a proponent of doing things as it should be done, devoid of ethnoreligious influence and that I'm also a fan of putting round pegs in round holes. ° I was a strong supporter of Jonathan against the cabal who held Nigeria to ransom and I advocated that the right thing (handing over power to him with the incapacity of the president, and according to the constitution) be done. But GEJ fumbled along the way by indulging his ministers and a few other in their corrupt practices. He turned deaf ears despite the cries of millions of Nigerians about the excesses of Diezani Allison Maduekwe. Sleaze was also very evident under his administration and he failed to punish his officers that engage in it. A leader must lead by examples and when people see the big shots being punished for wrongdoing, the common citizens will sit up. So I expectedly withdrew my rooting for him (GEJ) soon after. ° Being faced with little option and hoping that PMB will offer Nigerians what Jonathan failed at (fighting corruption, entrenching security of lives and properties and dealing with wrongdoers irrespective of ethnoreligious affiliation), Nigerians, I included rooted for Buhari. I didn't even mind that he was of the northern stock. The only thing I wanted was for things to work and to support anyone who would make things to work. Anyways to shorten it, I withdrew my support for PMB the moment it became obvious that he was not ready to deal with corruption head on and was literarily romancing corruption in his own circles. Note that the persistence of corrupt practices under him led to a worsening of the security situations (much worse than GEJ's) under him. And the same corruption is what keeps oiling the insecurity and insurgency. ° So if you fail to understand why I'm not a wailer with all these, then I'm sorry that I can't help your myopism, your political naivety, your tribalism and nepotism and your uncaring attitude for what Nigerians are currently going thru under this man you so much hold dearly. ° By the way, I'm not even from the North; not an almajiri as you opined. I'm a proudly of Yoruba nation. |
oyatz:Sincerely I'm sure of only myself. But I will wager that with what Nigerians currently experience under Buhari, majoruty would align with my thoughts. Majority wouldn't wanna make another Buhari mistake (he lied about his age, about his qualifications too) and he happens not to show great leadership so far. There is someone who has shown Nigerians just a stint of what great leadership would be like and the dividends of such. He had just 6 months to make great decisions which went down well with Nigerians as it gave them the impression that power indeed lies with the people who vote officials in and not a few privileged rots who feel entitled and foist their wills on the masses. He disciplined, in line with expectations of a sane society, a public official of the DSS who feels he can use his power to oppress his counterparts in the legislature (even though the legislature have their own excesses too). He also went ahead and swore in the legitimate next person into the position, without recourse to tribalism or nepotism, a man from the South south. But what did Buhari do the moment he came back? He reversed those reasonable decisions. He even went ahead and fired the South South man and then went along with his nepotostic urges to again climax in his own tribalistic orgasm, as he always does. |
Of course we all are hoping that he does not become president. Majority of Nigerians don't want him save some who may be getting crumbs from his table. But that does not excuse you Bode George as a bird of the same feather as Tinubu's. Neither does it erase the fact that you were jailed justifiably for corruption and also does not remove the fact that politics naturally comes with lies. Hence you or Tinubu are both liars. Lai Mohammed is just one politician who has taken his own bare faced white lies to heights never before seen worldwide. |
She is strange indeed. Where'd she get fair skin from and claim to be Ghanaian? Ghanaians are coal dark skinned, so she better carry her mammy water strangeness away from that place. |
Okay. Im sure Nigerians "are praying for him" in their millions in the light of the hardship they are currently going thru. Three years ago, Nigerians being driven by the spirit of "patriotism" prayed for him to come back alive from the treatment he went for in UK. He was evidently gravely ill at that time. Nigerians prayed and fasted. And I guess God who initially had different plans, having seen ahead of us, eventually decided to heed our supplications against his own master plan. "Come let's give these people what they want, even though they have no idea of why they shouldn't supplicate for him", He must have said. And so he came back better and stronger after 6 months sojourn in a UK hospital. Well, it was a grave mistake and as infallible humans that can't see beyond our noses, Nigerians later realize their mistake. They should have prayed that God's will (ridding us of the pestilence of a president) be done, instead of praying that he should get well. So Ortom, I am very sure Nigerians are "praying" earnestly for Buhari right now. In the market places, in their places of work, while on the kerosene queue, while foraging for woods to cook, while shopping for charcoal, while buying cooking gas, while in the captivity of abductors; Nigerians are "praying" fervently for Buhari. |
Oh. So you don't know? Southerners (South west and South East) both complained of this menace few months ago and each one tried in their own best way to ensure the ugly trend is immediately nipped in the bud. You Northerners stood against the establishment of Amotekun as a solace for South west to address the inadequacy of the northern controlled Nigerian Police. You even, less actively though, worked against the establishment of Ebubeagu in the south east claiming all these are moves to entrench independence and federalism by the south (which is what is the ideal in the first instance, being called a federal Republic). But you Northerners will not have the rest of the country divesting themselves away from shackles and living the good life of rest from threat and fear of threat to lives and properties because you were already used to it in your own region and would want to drag every other person along into your type of self inflicted doom. All your efforts at frustrating the SW leadership and especially your war (masterminded by Malami the Well, thank goodness that the regional security outfits, save the hypocritical Hisbah of the North, were able to painstakingly reduce (though not yet uhuru) the menace of occupation of their forests by antisocial elements. They have mostly been chased back to the north where they came from. Now you should deal with your own problems and let the rest of us hear word. Useless northern leaders. |
These dudes are still on this useless Nigeria - Niger rail project. Their undue persistence to executing this project despite the resistance of Nigerians and even to the extent of borrowing money in the name of Nigerians to construct a rail in favour of Niger tends to validate some allegations from some quarters. Allegation that there is a supposed body double of PMB who stepped in soon after the latter "died and was buried in Saudi Arabia" . It was then rumoured that the guy (body double) made demands as remuneration for his services. His demands were to be as follows: ° His families will be enriched beyond measure by the Nigerian government. ° A percentage of the oil earnings in Nigeria will accrue to his home country Niger. ° The Nigerian government will construct projects for his home country on the tab of Nigerian earnings as if the country is an annex of Nigeria. I laughed off all these theories then. But few months after that news, I begun to witness a number of things that almost confused me the more, if not that I am not gullible. 1. The opening of Niger-Nigerian border for the massive influx of immigrants (allegedly Nigeriens who are mostly Fulanis) into Nigeria. Meanwhile the southern Nigerian border was declared shut. 2. The proposal by one governor like that to integrate Fulanis Africa-wide as Nigerians as according to him, " a Fulani man can be a national of any country". The intention then was to use the NIN. It is being speculated in many quarters that this plan is being carried out surreptitiously since Isa Pantami, a Fulani patron and a Fulani man himself is in charge of the agency that constitutionally carried out the process. 3. The way the government ignored allegations that kidnapping and insecurity in the North are perpetrated to a worrisome percentage on immigrant terrorists and cow rustlers coming in from Niger and who are even Fulanis themselves (only they are from Niger) 4. The proposal by the presidency to construct a Nigerian-owned refinery in Ghana, while the ones within Nigeria are left to rot away and swallowed billions of Naira in TAM. 5. Now this issue of railway from Nigeria to Niger. An infrastructure with no know economic advantage to Nigeria or Nigerians except it is an advantage to a less prosperous Niger. The sheer massive volume of sales and economic activities between Nigeria ro Cameroon or between Nigeria to Cotonou does not deserve rail infrastructure, but a non-productive Northern neighbouring country deserves. |
fibonacci2526: I try to be explicit enough so that all assumed questions anticipated from people are already answered ahead in that first epistle. |
Safyqueen:Why do you think he deserves commendation? He already gets 500 million naira security votes monthly. And I'm sure the ease of access to a helicopter is because of the presence of military formations (navy and the army) in Kogi state. The aircraft must have been deployed from one of these formations. Bello also seems to have some clout in Abuja, so a request for a helicopter either from Abuja itself or from one of the military formations in the state under instructions from Abuja is something that will get easy approval. Under normal circumstance, the police also needs to own a helicopter. The other governors too collect security votes and also complicit in the dearth of provision of security for lives and properties of their own people, but that does not justify that Bello should be commended for performing a constitutionally binding responsibility in the first instance. Abi you will also praise him for "paying workers"' salaries when it naturally isn't an achievement being what is routinely expected of good governance? Will you? |
Mustiboy:The first comedic act of your installer was the 260w panel for all the listed loads. Then boom, another one. Dude connected the solar panels directly to the battery, bypassing the CC. OMG! . Your battery is at risk of an explosion if the panel isn't disconnected immediately.Bro, you gat yourself a "solar expert" o. And one with American wonder for that matter. Your 260 watts panels x 2 should do a fair job at fully charging the battery since you do not have loads on it while charging. Your 3 hours backup on your 100ah battery of 150 watts load is also expected more so with the likelihood that such a "solar expert" may have used suboptimal battery in your installation. So with the problem of inadequate power from the panels, you should do the following: Be sure that the 260 watts rating on the nameplate of the panels is indeed the real rating and that he got you new panels as you required and not used ones. Even used tier 1 panels will give good power output in the first instance. The guy may have excised the MC4 connectors of the panels and do a direct (wire twist) connection for the whole process. Long term viability of such connections when exposed to the elements can not be guaranteed. So one of the panels may have disconnected, or the contacts grossly inadequate to pass current. Check the direction of the panels for adequate insolation. I would wager that a "solar expert" that for a moment considered "connecting panels directly to batteries" will likely not know that there is a concept like "proper panel orientation" to be considered. For all you care, your guy may also have connected both panels in series and sent that output to the PWM CC like that. 260 watts panel has a nominal of 24 volts and can only be used with a single 12v battery when you have an MPPT controller (not PWM controller) or at worst a buck converter between the two (panels and battery). So either parallel panel connection o or series connection o, the use of PWM with your single battery on a 260w panel (if the panel is truly 260w and not rebranded 150w) will bring up problems like you're experiencing. Review your cabling too. Your guy may have also used terrible gauge wires for cabling at every stage of the installation. Having said all that, it seems your battery is still viable (if the direct connection to the solar panel has not fried it yet). Then let's assume your panels are as true as rated and that connection on the roof is adequate. Then your best bet may be getting an MPPT as opposed to "downgrading" to new 150w panels or as opposed to getting another 160w panel that will still be connected to an already faulty mix. There are inexpensive but reliable MPPTs like PowMr that @ Odimanbadi listed here for around 52k. I think a picture of your set up uploaded here to give guys an rough idea about your system will be of some help. |
achorladey:Good for you, I'd say. Tracking getting stuck at "object routed", whereas for background the item don waka reach your place. Na wa for SingPost o. There is this item that I ordered for 6 months ago. Only for NIPOST to call me 2 days ago that I have an item. I was even thankful, thinking it was one of my few Speedaf items that unfortunately entered NIPOST yawa. I paid the 200 naira handling free and was waiting to collect my change. It was labelled USB device and of course I have a "NIPOST imprisoned" speedaf item (a USB C cable) that I'm expecting. But while waiting for my change, I wondered that the package seemed a little overkill for one piece of USB C cable, so I decided to open it up. Na so I see that thing wey I order 6 months ago inside the package. ![]() Haba SingPost. So I went to the archive on the track 24 app and discovered this item was updated to "unsuccessful delivery" few days ago. It showed item was in transit for a freaking 185 days!

Why do I love this news? It looks like something from out of an American movie. Sorry for the loss. They still leave the fuel tank, fuel tap and a hose for you. You should thank them for those ![]() |
The guy misused his powers, really. He could only display that nonsense simply because he is a military guy. Sadly Nigeria do not fight dmfor the oppressed. But you NEPA guys also misuse your own power and oppress powerless civilians by charging them for services not rendered. I'm sure the dude was pissed at you guys for bringing him bills "for providing darkness". Most times I feel awfully sorry for people when they lament accumulated bills running into hundreds of thousands of naira when their accumulated provision of power from DISCO is not even up to one month in a whole year. Yet when these customers demand for prepaid meters that will bring about some level of sanity and transparency, you NEPA people frustrate these efforts just so to perpetuate your evil estimated billing regime. Glad that I don't rely on useless DISCOS as I provide my own clean energy going to six years now. I'm thankful that I've not had any major reasons to have any deal with NEPA (beyond requesting for prepaid meter of course, which even though paid for has been elusive for 4 years now). Assuming you also bring such evil estimated billing to my domicile. I'd have toyed with the idea of breaking the legs of one of you with some slugs - not that I own a gun though, but I honestly can decide to get licence for one because of that sole reason. That is how deep the dislike for these DISCOs is. |
