itsUmohEtido:Refunds are usually done at the current prevailing rate. Assuming the exchange rate dropped within the time you placed the order and the refund was effected, you'd be credited with less than the initial 40,500 debit. Take note of that so that you'll know what to expect as the case may be, although it's highly unlikely that exchange rate will drop. |
samnaija:It seems yours isn't of the best stock. I have two solar lights that have functioned quite well for over one year. They light up with constant intensity from dusk till dawn. One started acting up about 3 weeks ago (it lights up thru the daytime when it's charging but goes off at night probably after the battery must have been depleted during daytime). It also became non responsive to the remote. What I did was simply to get a replacement circuit at less than 1k5 and fixed it. The circuits are damn cheap on AliExpress and you an DIY these lights yourself with a cheap 6v 5w solar panel (around 3k on Konga/Jumia) and two or three pieces of 18650 (BMS protected) cells depending on the duration of lighting you want. The BMS you will need is 1s Li-ion which is also under 150 naira. Another one I DIYed has two protected 18650s and lights up from dusk till dawn with constant intensity.

smallsmall:Of course you are right. The onus is on the seller to make a claim that he can and is willing to fulfill and the buyer traditionally has to believe that. Although you can further reinforce your believe with one or two researches on the person or item. See, in my quest for energy saving devices, I came across this infinix android TV (I went scouting for Samsung or LG) but when I saw an android OS powered offering from a popular manufacturer, I jumped on the wagon and purchased a brand new infinix android TV with one year warranty. That was October last year. By August this year, it begun to act up. A web search revealed tens of people on Nairaland having the same screen problems which means it wasn't any fault of the user. I visited the shop where it was bought armed with this information (a very big and reputable outlet at that) and all they could suggest is to give me the number of their electronics repairer to call so he can help me repair it. Of course I trashed the idea as useless in their presence and warned them of possible grave consequences if they won't do the normal thing (I have my ways). They eventually agreed to collect the TV and take it to infinix office in Lagos with a promise to contact me later. What I try to point out here is another instance of bad attitude of sellers trying to push the responsibility for repairs on the buyer when items is still within warranty and when the fault is clearly not the buyer's. And while you may have had this unsavoury experience with merchants on this thread and possibly many more will act the same way if exposed to such trial, I can vouch for one person here who honours warranty. That battery guy in Jos is one person. A pack I bought from him acted up within one year (quick discharge issues) and I contacted him. He simply responded that I should have it sent down and he assuredly added that at least my cells are under warranty so replacement is no problem. I'm still looking for a way to have it sent down to him. Once before, he has also replaced for me a battery that got damaged during transport with a new one which he now sent using a more careful driver. The guy is also on this forum, so not every vendor has that attitude at least. There is even another battery guy (not on this forum) with similar issues with a client I referred to him. He asked I send down the battery, he will do top balancing and then promised to add an active balancer all for free. smallsmall:I believe GeorgeD1 already gave an answer to this. smallsmall:@bolded. Sadly, we can't take the security agencies to go arrest the guy. The best that can be done is to encourage him to try to preserve his reputation and we also use the "threat" of withdrawal of future patronage or referrals to coerce him to do the needful. It's a faceless forum and if it happens to be someone who is shameless and doesn't give a shyte, then I'm afraid all those "threats" won't matter. But I want to believe JustCallMenuel is not that kinda person. I want to believe he will come thru with a solution that will make you smile at the end of the day. But remember to give feedback here if and when he does. It's too bad and hopelessly annoying, I tell you. |
There seems to be some balance this time. The nepotism that oozes with the military is apparently less here, obviously because the recruitment process (from employment) for this group was not skewed. Check the latest recruitments and behold the skew in favour of a particular part. Then subsequently wen they ruse thru the ranks and yet promotion, the already skewed imbalance is what results. It's long been established in the military. So a few years down the line we have begun seeing more of officers from that region, ditto their corruption. | |

oakinshield:You can actually take a repeat polio (oral polio vaccine, of course) after the initial 6 weeks neonatal period according to the National Programme on Immunizations (NPI) . But this second oral drops are taken at or before 5 years of age. That being said, if you check both available types of polio vaccine - the Sabin polio vaccine and the Salk's polio vaccine taken percutaneous and orally respectively and both named after their inventors - they contain attenuated (inactivated/killed) form of the original virus, not some synthetic mRNA like that of the COVID vaccine that's not even an extract from the pathogen itself; well except the J&J product. |
Originalsly:Well, it didn't stop there. You have not seen it all. The case was eventually taken up by the Kano State government and the Federal Government under GEJ's government and Andoakaa, the then AGF as the prosecutor. It was supposed to be a clear cut trial without ambiguity because Pfizer clearly acted against ethics and only in the interest of profit, endangering the lives of the kids, some of who remained paralysed till date, and there are evidential documents that nails Pfizer in this regards. Well, two years down the line, boom. News started to fly around unearthing the dirt of Andoakaa; some unsavoury dirty deals he had engaged in much earlier coming out to haunt him. Pfizer found a way to hold him by the balls and decided to blackmail him with those facts, unearthed those facts and tabled it before him, forcing him to a truce and compromise. The final agreement was fir Pfizer to settle outta court with some millions of dollars as compensation to the families affected. It would also not have been an acceptable proposition but for the fact that Pfizer also carried Kano State government along in the "bribery" spree, thanks to our ever corrupt politicians and leaders. At the end of the day, Kano State government took millions of dollars from Pfizer (in compensation and in proxy for the families ) while the families affected only finally got a few hundred thousands of Naira from the Kano State Government. Pfizer got away with the evil with the connivance of Kano State government after they (Pfizer) have successfully blackmailed Andoakaa into submission. Kano State government also cashed in on their people's misfortune, chop and clean mouth. oakinshield:You can actually take a repeat polio (oral polio vaccine, of course) after the initial 6 weeks neonatal period according to the National Programme on Immunizations (NPI) . sonymax16:Abeg, that Sonymax channel that was expunged from DSTV/Gotv, where else can one get to see that channel? I have missed their extreme programmes, aswear. |
Lixusheng:That person should have used speedaf or some other logistics companies. It will take just 72 hrs with speedaf. NURTW and RTEAN transport drivers as intercity logistics agents are much more reliable that NIPOST is. Even all the hussling private logistics guys are more effective. |
I noticed no one has really made comment on the cable gauge vis-a-vis the distance between the charge controller and the battery and even the battery tk the inverter sef. It appears to me that it's the same 6mm guage duo core used between the panel and the CC that is also used between the CC and the battery at such a long distance (that's like 3 ft distance between CC and battery). Also the wire between battery and inverter looks like an 8mm single. Of course suggestions mentioned earlier by other contributors still remain valid and should be considered too in trouble shooting.

anytexy:I believe the individual that owns the handler "Benuejosh" also owns the handler "Mannabbqgrill". It's been established severally that the latter also owns the handler "NLpolicewoman" The mischief, wickedness, mien, innuendos and stresses in the comments by the two are strikingly similar. |
Initially it used to be "when the US sneezes, the whole world catches a cold" Right now it's becoming "when China coughs, the whole world is in danger of catching flu" China has employed serious strategy that is gradually pushing them up the ladder to attain the much coveted position of the world super power. For instance, China has created more millionaires than any other place in the worldř within the last few years. They are taking the world as a first and leader in AI and Machine learning. They are already challenging Tesla in the niche of electric cars. Check out BYD cars and see the affordability they provide for Chinese and very soon the world as they roll out their BYD dolphin model of sedan. This particular EV model is touted to be the next "Toyota corolla". This is because aside from the fact that it is an electric vehicle cheaper than Toyota corolla itself (an ICE), it is said to have better lifespan (1 million miles on structure and on battery) than the Toyota corolla which has manufacturer lifespan reliability of 400 thousand miles. Tesla seem to be struggling to beat that. Although incontrovertibly, they (Tesla) still provide luxury in electric vehicles with their S and Y series even beating the ICE manufacturers hands down in the EV segment, but affordability, mehn, that seems to not be their strong point. BYD (Build Your Dreams) are already providing affordability on wheels with tjeir Electric Vehicles. |
Seven of the eight people injured suffered smoke inhalation, with a woman, 52, suffering leg injuries. Inhalationall injury. The most injury associated with increased mortality in fire incidents. And I'm sure the 52 year old woman that suffered leg injuries will most likely be pathological fractures due to menopause. Their bones become brittle that little force like this, na kpa! If na 9ja, and old woman o, and young people o, na hopeless case e fit be. |
Lixusheng:It's an act of being responsible. That the shipping company is forwarding such information as your tracking number to you alone means that it is not a public info, though not overtly a secured info, but nonetheless it's a personal information. If you now make it public, it's your choice. Besides I personally do not like to see people shoving their information in my face in public and faceless forums (for it is so easy to assume fake identity on such) except a discussion warrants revealing such information to drive home a point, reinforce an argument or to help the poster make inquiries like it happens on this thread. Then in such case, the owner of the information must willingly or unwittinly, either by error of ommision or commission, volunteer such info. I don't think the poster sjould be subjected to volunteering his tracking number either by verbal coercion or any form of intimidation. |
Davy950:It means you were expected to come pick it up yourself (as opposed to doorstep delivery), but you failed to show up. It's speedaf, and it's likely the tracking ends with an "E" or "O". So I'd suggest you visit the speedaf office at Ikotun at once. If it remains like that for one more week, it risks being sent back to China. |
My sympathy. She will be found and returned alive. Just remember to blame Buhari and yourselves for this evil that you nurtured that has come back to swallow you whole. |
Hurricane Katrina. |
Be thankful that they didn't shoot you first before asking you to disperse or unleashing the army on you. Ask the victims of #EndSars to tell you their stories. Anyways, the DSS is a DuaraSecret Service outfit filled with Naughterners, so they naturally will peacefully disperse a violent protest organised by the Naughterners in contrast to violently dispersing a peaceful demonstration organised by southerners. |
sureteeboy:I happy for you o. But why did you just stop in the second sentence? You know there are somethings people want to hear once you talk about item delivery (delayed or not). Things like Is it speedaf express? Or is it Singapore that we expect will ship Anker products from Hong Kong? Now that it has arrived Nigeria, the next thing is to begin praying against the forces of darkness that resides within the hearts of "customs" and the forces of stealing, "loss of item" or non chalant delayed and prolonged delivery that resides within the heart of NIPOST. |
Jay5mie:See. Life no balance at all. Tribalism123:Well, at least they tried spelling "Cut" correctly. "Not", sorry "Nut", oh I mean "Nought", Hmmm N-o-r-t-h and their spelling. Dem dey spell for Africa. Chinese Cuisine has become "Chanise Cousin". At least dem fit spell "Cousin" correctly.

Dam5reey:Okay. That makes sense. I totally forgot he has a high input hybrid. ojeysky:I get it now. The Deye is the key. Thanks. |
You're opening yourself up for a gold digger. It'll have been better you go more careful and less desperate about it, then you're gonna likely get a tall man that truly loves you even if he is a broke ass nigger. |
@ Ojesky. "PV Risen 390w X 8, Sunfit 280w x 9, Prime 380w X 7" So I was wondering how you configured your 7 pieces prime panels. Your system is 48v The Risen is 390w in 2s, Sunfit 290w in 3s, I guess (stand to be corrected though). How does the the odd number 7 pieces 380w work out? NB. I'm trying to use this to work out some possible new upgrades. |
Okay. So these are two speedaf items. The first one with the "R" handled by Speedaf all the way (Speedaf I ternational and Speedaf Nigeria) and the second is the one with "E" which used to be handled by Speedaf Nigeria but for about three months now has been taken over by NIPOST for handling. I have taken delivery of both items and the tracking for the one handled by Speedaf Nigeria clearly shows adequate unambiguous and straightforward information, one that keeps the mind at rest and at ease. Note that this same detailed information was provided for the "E" items when they used to be handled by Speedaf Nigeria. However we all can see the useless information provided by NIPOST on the "E" item handled by them which I took delivery of since 4 days ago. If tracked on Speedaf website, the last reliable information is always "arrived at NIPOST" and that's it. Even if it remains with NIPOST for 12 calender months or gets missing, you don't get any further updates or information that keeps you abreast of what is happening. I have about four other items with this same useless status from NIPOST since about two weeks now, confusingly much earlier than this one that was delivered, and I am at a painful loss as to what to make of their status, fate or even if I should make inquiries on them or not. How can one even possibly win a dispute for this assuming it remained undelivered or lost since it has already shown "arrived at destination country". And to make matters worse, NIPOST will be playing hide and seek with your inquiries. And someone will try to tell me that I blame NIPOST wrongly since, as they usually like to argue, "it is not NIPOST's fault but Singapore Post or speedaf Post fault".

Hausa:Hahaha. I will need to check this up. And probably go thru users reviews and maybe you tube videos comparing it with other notable BT speakers. Have you a personal experience with it? Or do you own one? Chimex1930:Okay Bro. I will take this as a challenge and sincerely deep down within me, I hope you're right. Icolosis:Open trade dispute sharp sharp, sam sam. |
Lol. I initially thought I read "impounded" in the tracking. ![]() It was "inbounded" and for the records, there is no word like that. It's a coinage by them.

Nonsense FG. Why include IPOB? I know that including Fulani herdsmen, Bandits and Boko Haram is not what they will readily want proscribed but for the fact that they needed to somehow rope IPOB in, they had no choice but to include the other two. Northern Nigeria is the resource for four of the world's most deadliest terror groups viz: ° ISWAP ° Fulani Herdsmen ° Boko Haram ° Bandits. Ha! You alone fah! You can see where hypocrisy has brought y'all Northerners. The first three have however already been declared terrorist groups by the international community, so I wonder why this man mentioned them again if not for the mischief of trying to include IPOB. |
earthrealm:@bolded ![]() You don notice say e be like say people don dey get tired of LA. This paradigm shift is worsened by the fact that vendors have flooded the market with substandard, fake batteries including those with falsely declared rating/capacities. Now e don dey red for solar panels too as false capacities are becoming the norm. Soon e go reach the turn of inverters (if they've not even started yet). Tampering with labels on Charge controllers is already happening. Lithium batteries too are already having their own fair share of false capacities from our vendors, although it seems substandard cells have not taken firm root yet. Thank God that DIY lithium packs is as easy as MNO, else we for be at their mercies with fake battery packs. |
alosbaba007:LOL. Actually na family member. One of my siblings. And expectedly as big bros, I can't be acting stingy. In fact, the person first hijacked the Anker Premium and it developed the issue one year after, returned it back to me and took the Bose Soundlink II. ![]() I need a near equivalent performance speaker as ransom to get back my Bose Soundlink, hence my prayer that the Anker Soundcore Motion Plus makes it safely to me. Otherwise I will have to re-purchase another Bose Soundlink. Its around 60k now on AE as opposed to around 43k I got it 3 years ago (Naira-dollar exchange rate things)
|
jossypajay:Anker has been having this factory charging defect problem since forever. It seems to be their achilles heels that they can't seem to shake off. I have an Anker Soundcore Premium that worked for three years but just last year stopped charging. I went thru amazon buyers' comments and found out it was a common problem with that model. Some said it happens when the battery goes dead and that replacing the battery tends to correct the error. Well, I tried to replace the battery but it was a waste of time as it doesn't even recognise the presence of a battery no more. It was a painful loss. The Bose Soundlink mini has been going for three years without issues but it is already hijacked and I need some BT speaker to pass time until I'm able to get it back. And probably hand over the Anker Soundcore Motion+ (when it arrives) in exchange for my Bose Soundlink back. |
