How much is your 24v and 48v packs? |
zeestone99:@bolded. Shey you meant to type "E no reach 50k?" Lol. I believe 2s will be best for the 400watt panel given that the VoC approaches 40.8volts. That makes 81.6v A 30v headroom for the MPPT to charge a 48v system isn't bad. |
So this item that has remained on Speedaf-Nipost since 18th September eventually got delivered today 19th October. It was a small parcel and guess what, the post office expectedly billed me 200 naira. So annoying. Now it seems the logic I tried to theorize about speedaf-nipost alliance restricted to destinations outside the domicile of speedaf offices, this assumption appears to be false. An item that I purposefully changed the destination to a town with speedaf office has shown "speedaf-nipost" status in the tracking. And I have about 10 more orders that I have changed the address to the new address on based on that assumption that they're gonna escape Speedaf-Nipost. So what I am led to belive right now is that speedaf and Nipost randomly share speedaf parcels among themselves for the final stage delivery in order not to let the latter go into obsolescence and irrelevance resulting from poor service delivery. Sadly, their middle name still remains "inefficient", otherwise they wouldn't still deliver an item one whole month after it got to them and they wouldn't bill me 200 naira for an item that is tagged as "ordinary parcel".

iscom:I have my suspicions too. But the version 2 that I bought has good reviews and from use for few days now, I think it is the deal. For the version 3 though, one can't tell until I lay my hands on it. |
100 million naira thief is talking. Lai "La-teef" Mohammed is his new name. |
Lai "Liar" Mohammed being a thief is bad enough. But now adding theft to that is absurdity taken to new heights. Stealing 100 million naira is unenviable. But can one escape not seeing new absurdities every passing day with Buhari's minions? No. Now his new nomenclature is Lai "La-teef" Mohammed. |
ojeysky:Your system is 48v system and your panels is 2s config, yes? |
ojeysky:I've not even spotted any nameplate of those panels. But if 270 Watts can have around 35v VoC, I'm just imagining what those ones will have. earthrealm:I think I'm with you on the bolded. Except of course I am ready ti get a pick up truck to ferry them. Then get a very experienced installer to mount those large weights. |
dahflemzy:Here you go. The one I purchased. ExtraUniqueGuy:As in the same order? Is AliExpress system malfunctioning? But technically I suppose your money should be automatically refunded if the seller cancel it, same way it happens when the buyer cancels his/her order. Edited: I guess the coupon is the reason the order was cancelled by the seller. But it must have been too late before he cancelled it, already shipped maybe. Abeg, how una dey get 17k, as 17 thousand naira, coupon? . Tisha, Teach me. |
Abeg, make this country just divide immediately I tí North and South. The south has nothing in common with the North. Someone analysed that looking at the world map, there is synergy, synchronicity and similarity more with regions along the same latitude than with regions among the same longitude. For instance, Benin Repuic, Southern Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana all have more in common while Niger, Chad, Northern Nigeria, Sudan all have more in common; while it isn't the case if you're looking at it from North Southwards. |
Penuelseun:@bolded. This is true. You should see how the build version improves with each subsequent pack. The last two packs saw the incorporation of nickel strips, spot welder and fish paper. Thinking of adding a knife fuse or glass fuse and also brainstorming on including communications port with subsequent builds. Of course the latter will mean upgrading from the current BMSes. Is that 48v pack? And did you use resistor wire fuses for the positive poles of each cell?

earthrealm:Talking about VoC, with these recent 400 Watts, 440 Watts solar panels flying around, how many of it do you think will be in series to handle a 48v set up? 2s, 3s? Thinking of including those in the array, so I have to be sure before I fry those CCs. Also @ Ojesky, @ Níyì. |
genius43:I couldn't go above 150 usd in my last transaction. But maybe they subsequently increased it sha. This coming month will confirm that as I will have a monthly limit refresh by then. nani667:The reason for return will be documented as "buyer rejected the item", and I don't think that will boost your buyer ratings on AE (buyers also have ratings like sellers do and sellers avoid transacting with buyers that have poor ratings). Also if your shipment is not "free shipping", the amount refunded will be short by the amount billed for the shipping. That is, only the cost price (minus the shipping fee) will be refunded to you in this instance. So weigh your options. There is really no way to avoid speedaf except your item is shipped from Hong Kong or Singapore (where speedaf currently don't have presence); in either case, your shipping option could be Hong Kong Post or Singapore Post respectively. But if it is AliExpress Standard Shipping or Cainiao, there is high chance it will end up with speedaf. And speedaf isn't so bad by the way. Your tracking number clearly ends with "O" which indicates ordinary parcel (as opposed to "R" registered). Most likely ordinary parcels do not get the doorstep treatment that registered gets, although I am forced to believe that speedaf initially handles all parcel as doorstep delivery and may have just effected this policy change in recent times. DOMINO001:Select that link and choose multiples of the "item" until it adds up to 5 usd. Then you can go ahead to check out. dahflemzy:That Lenovo cost seems to be on the high side, so I tried out Redmi earbuds (version 2) which is around 4k. It was delivered via speedaf in 2 weeks and for about a week now, its been going on fine. The bass isn't bad especially if you are able to set the equalizer on your device. The connection can be via one or both earbuds and connection is instant the moment you bring the pod outta the case. The button only controls pause/play, no ff or rew. The bud fits the ear tightly such that ambient sound is shut out. No USB cable was included in mine though, but I think that was the package I opted for. I'm looking forward to trying out the version 3 which is soft touch button, more colour options, waterproof, ff and rew options, USB type C charging port and of course more recent. It goes for between 6k and 9k depending on the store.

dejidotun2000:Well, I make it a tradition not to max out the stated capacity of these solar products when I use 'em, either premium or not. So all my 60A POWMR has peaked at 50 amps at most. When I need more power, I simply get extra. So I have two each per set up. Oshomo12: ![]() Lol @ bolded. As in? |
Na now their day break. Legis-looters, una good morning o. When Nigerians dey shout say Buhari bambiala don dey become too much, the useless leader of the rubber stamp NASS talk say na everything Buhari bring dem go dey approve. |
Officially confirmed. Yesterday I was able to place a 149.99 usd order on GTB card and it went thru. I believe their limit has been upped to 150usd from the previous 100usd. |
elvischukie:If it is "speedaf" tracking number, you should try tracking it thru cainiao website. That is the place to get tracking info on speedaf items when they are still outside Nigeria. |
cell7:I have had POWMR in set-up for the past two years. Some others here too have it in their set ups. None of the four has shown any untoward issues. |
NiyiOmoIyunade:Thanks. I really do not mind this route. However one reason I ignored it is that the inverter still runs even when the AC output is off, meaning that the idle consumption still continues. Okay, let's assume I want to adopt your method (which I really love to), what contactor would you suggest that can handle at least 16 amp of AC power output at the inverter AC terminals? I will look up that XH M611 right away. |
So for those that have speedaf tracking number and their tracking info gets stuck at "reached destination country" or are getting "no data" on speedaf NG website, I think the problem is that speedaf NG did not update the tracking info for that period. I have such parcel that I recieved from speedaf office on the 10th Screenshot on the right is that of the AliExpress tracking status info showing item stuck at "reached destination country" while that of the right is on speedaf NG website which replied "no data".

harkinlaby77:Enter the correct card number (if you enter the wrong one, mastercard is able to immediately tell that the number is wrong) Then enter the correct expiry date (reason as same as above) Finally, TYPE IN THE WRONG CVV2. But make sure it is any random three digit aside from your correct cvv2. Then click on "save and pay". Your bank will decline the transaction based on wrong cvv2, and the item is transferred to your "cart" to your "unpaid" folder. |
Another repressive policy. Thanks to the d1ck-tator in Aṣọ Rock. |
Shebi it's NTA? Don't worry, it will be full of lies. |
eleojo23:Quite practicable. I use this for 12v, 24v and 48v inverters. Although you will need to do a very minor extra wiring on the main switch of the inverter. As per the 48v system, you are already nearing some high voltage, so the alternative connection will have to employ the use of a DC-DC buck converter to energizer a 12v or 24v relay or you use an outright 48v-72v relay. omotoda:Perhaps his set up doesn't include a PWM controller. Also most available PWM and MPPT controllers don't provide the wide variation and flexibility of voltage based DoD values that one will desire. The controllers for instance have DoD settings that range between 10.7v to 11.9v Also, except you have a controller or a battery protect device that can handle the high amperage that accompanies current movement between the battery and inverter, you're not likely to be able to utilise that route (battery to inverter connection) to achieve your aim. Reason why you adopt the main switch of the inverter (with a little modification) Attached are the devices I have deployed. The first one is my favourite because it only trips off when the voltage has remained below the preset DoD for 10 seconds. So it has about 10 seconds delay before it trips off in case the drop in battery voltage below the set point is due to the momentary surge of the device (eg freezer, pumping machine or heavy appliance) placed on the inverter. The second one has the advantage of being able to show battery percentage and count discharge time parameters (which I don't think I need) and also the screen goes to sleep (depending on your settings) to reduce consumption, which is very minimal in my opinion. But it does not have the delay option of the first one. The instant the voltage drops below the preset DoD, it trips off. The connections is made in such manner that these devices take over the factory switch terminals of the inverter while this factory switch remains in the off position. You can override the devices "on" control simply by manually switching on the factory switch of the inverter. While it has worked in most cases, I experienced a challenge with one of the inverters that has maybe logic control which registers on the screen of the inverter. It occasionally records the last "switching off" by the meter an as error, I guess since it wasn't done by the factory switch. So when it automatically turn on again (by the meter) , the "error" previously recorded logically/internally turns off the inverter after a couple of minutes. The inverter comes on again (this time by itself cos the meter is already locked to the "on" position) and then off again after couple of minutes. It can repeat this twice before the logic finally agrees with the meter (rather than the inverter factory switch) to perform the switching on option and then it stays on. The inverter is permanently running 24/7 but I usually encounter that problem occasionally during the rainy seasons when the batteries are not well charged and the inverter had to turn off at the preset DoD. As said earlier, in about three other types of inverters without that logic intricacies, the set up works perfectly.

mikron: jikins:I agree with you. It seems speedaf's alliance with private logistics pays better than with grossly inefficient NIPOST. |
Yeah. He will pay off the prison officials and they will get an innocent man implicated and sentenced to stand in his lieu while he walks away free. |
He is believed to be a mole for the FG, hence the high level of suspicion. Once he gets info of the attendees of the meeting, he may relay it to the FG who will now unleash the DSS disguised as UGM to take 'em out. The DSS guy killed by the police in Imo aroused suspicions of being a trouble maker and as one of the UGMs. He should have simply told the police that they have the same master and that he is on official assignment from the FG to carry out "some strategic security jobs" (if he can't mention being a DSS cum UGM), and perhaps he would be spared. Mace0lane:All the tricks in the book have ready been played for his first term realization by the Fulani. The people will be waiting to plug all the loopholes this time; except the FG brings in a whole regiment of the Nigerian army and the murderous DSS to intimidate the people. MondayOsunbor:As in he is truly HIV positive? FunkyAlhaji2015:Fulani marauder spotted. You're doing well with that your misleading marauding monicker. |
