Romance › Re: Difference Between Loving Someone And Actually Being In Love. by Chibuezem(m): 7:23am On May 05, 2023
Popesuccess:
I want know the difference because there is this friend of mine that says he loves his wife but he is not in love with her. Is there any difference between the two?
Yes, there is a difference between loving someone and being in love with them.

Loving someone can refer to a general sense of affection and care for another person, whether it be a family member, friend, or romantic partner. It can involve feelings of warmth, support, and a desire to see them happy and well-being.

Being in love with someone, on the other hand, typically refers to a stronger emotional and romantic attachment to a person. It often involves feelings of infatuation, passion, and a desire for physical intimacy in addition to the care and affection of loving someone. Being in love can also evoke a sense of vulnerability and a strong desire to be close to and spend time with the person, as well as a strong sense of emotional connection and intimacy.

It's important to note that everyone experiences love and being in love differently, and there is no right or wrong way to feel. The important thing is to be honest with yourself and your feelings, and communicate them openly and respectfully with the people involved.

You should learn to remove the log in your eyes first, so you can see clearly before you try to remove that which you think is in the eyes of others. I spoke the Gospel Truth about hardwork one must do to be able to enter into the way which leads to salvation because it is narrow, and you came speaking ignorantly that hardwork is filthy rags before God etc. and now you're advising someone else to be slow to speak.

"In our generation" indeed. Keep deceiving yourself if you think God has changed His ways from the past, otherwise tell me the difference between the basis God used to judge the people of Nineveh and that which He'd use on judgement day.

Revelation 20:12-13 (KJV)

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

That's yet another proof you don't have any idea what you speak about.
Thank you Sir

The development and growth of a state is not sudden, it's gradual in all states of the federation we still have children begging for food or hustling to make money which I personally don't like. I don't support any party however Governor Dave has transformed Ebonyi state in it's infrastructure, He has lifted the stigma of Ebonyi people as backward, dirty individuals not exposed to modern facilities.

There's nothing to understand in ignorance. I have used the Bible to prove to you that your idea that works of repentance is filthy rags before God is ignorant and did not come from God.

Jonah 3:10 (KJV)

AND GOD SAW THEIR WORKS, THAT THEY TURNED FROM THEIR EVIL WAY; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Maybe the works God saw of the heathen people of Nineveh was found in Christ, that's why God acknowledged it according to you.
I never for once said that works of repentance is a filthy rag before the lord after all this is works done with a broken heart and a contrite spirit which the lord does not despise. You are simply misunderstanding me
I'm simply saying that in our generation the kingdom of God is given to those who repented to be born again and continued in the works of righteousness on the foundation of Christ. You are making it seem as if I said that the works meet for repentance is not acceptable unto God. Pls dont be in a hurry to come to conclusions, be slow to speak.

Please in what country do men dress like this? Please tell mehuh

Is it normal for an adult human man to dress like this? Tell me! Is ithuh

How will they attract good wives if they continue to dress like this?

Our Nigerian brothers are stepping out of line and we need to call them to order. Please.

The rate at which they dress indecently is getting out of hand.

And one woman will come and marry this one! Can you imaginehuh

How will you be showing the world your boxers?? The only person that should see your boxers is your wife. Don't you know you're reducing your value??

Your body is the temple of God. Please cover up angry
Chai Firstly no be woman dey marry man, na man dey marry woman second when it come to indecent dressing it's usually more of women than men who engage in this, some even go to the extent of wearing camel toe revealing trousers all because of God looks at the heart not what you are wearing total rubbish mentality they confidently showbtheir cleavage.... Church to most women is a hunting ground for rich men (this is also applicable to men)

Metrix147:
Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has listed at least six projects to be unveiled by his administration between the first week to May 14 as he is set to bow out of office May 29.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8oUr_oTZ4k
The projects include, new Government House Umuahia, the multi-specialist hospital Aba, Mgbarakuma Road Umuahia South, new garment factory, diagnostic hospital Isiukwuato and the new permanent site of the Abia State College of Health & Sciences.

The governor who stated these while featuring on ABN TV’s Political Perspective said despite the memories of the 2023 elections in which his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lost both the governorship and senatorial elections, his zeal to serve the people of Abia State has not changed.

According to the governor, till his contract with the people of Abia State which he said started in May 2015 and graciously renewed in 2019 comes to end on May 29, he will not stop to give his best for the state.

“We have quickly put the events of the 2023 elections behind us, these are mere rituals. Some of us are not election politicians. We will like to addressed as trans-generational leaders.

“We speak to issues beyond elections, elections will come and go and the outcome has nothing to do with my zeal and contract with Ndi Abia”, he stated.

Angels no go dey carry sword, Na gun
Angels no go dey use horses, Na cars
Angels no go get wings, Na jet packs
Every man on Earth is working in the vineyard of the Father some as weeds, some as pest, some as farmers others as security men some are even thieves all is allowed to the very end when the wheat will be separated from the chaff.... What you are doing people have done it but it didn't hinder the gospel rather it propelled the gospel....
Christianity Etc › Re: Why I Gave My Life To Jesus by Chibuezem(m): 10:56am On Apr 30, 2023
Toks2008:
The reason I gave my life to Christ is that it is the only sensible thing to do with an everlasting reward; Every other thing is a façade and a chase after the wind.(Ecclesiastes 1:14).

Now let's look at it together...

life is indeed very short . With GOD, a thousand years on earth is like 1 day (2 Peter 3:8 ).This means even if you are fortunate to live 100 years on earth in great wealth and grandeur you have only lived for just 2 hrs 40mins in the eyes of GOD.

Now here is where it gets even more interesting...

Life is so fragile and hangs by a very weak Silken thread and it can snap at anytime when you least expect and the moment you die you lose everything you have sweated all your life to get except your salvation.

The world will not stand still when you die...Your spouse or lover will move on with another person faster than you can ever imagine, your family members may grieve your loss for a short time but will move on. Your wealth and all you have laboured for all your flimsy years on earth will be controlled by another person and your friends and even enemies who wished you dead will only take few seconds to write R.I.P and that is where it ends.

That Job or position that you so much cherish will be given to another person immediately and the beautiful body we nurture and cherish so much will become nice meal for maggots.

But one thing that remains forever is your Soul and the only way you can save your soul for eternity is to give your life to JESUS CHRIST this very moment when you still can cos the moment you close your eyes to say good bye to this world, you will never have the opportunity ever again and the best part is that accepting Jesus as your lord and saviour is easier than you can ever imagine ...it is the easiest thing anybody can ever do.

The Bible says in the book of Romans 10:9 ''if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved''

And OH YES it is that easy so no matter where you reside on the surface of the earth, just read the words below out and you will automatically be saved.

''Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Saviour, thank you for saving me''.

If you read those words out then you have done exactly what Romans 10 vs 9 instructed hence your name is now written in the book of life and your Soul is forever secured in Christ Jesus.

Congratulations.
that's wonderful but don't let the fear of going to hell form your only foundation to serve God, rather focus on having a Father-Son relationship with God, in this kingdom of God is your right or inheritance.

True... It would take hardwork to get in, that's why the way is narrow not wide, otherwise it would be easy to get in.
entrance into the kingdom of God is based on 2 authenticator factor in this dispensation of Truth
1)You must have the spirit of Jesus Christ in you
2)You must be found in the works of righteousness in accordance to the spirit of Jesus Christ
Your hardwork of a man is simply a filthy rag many occupy positions and engage in spiritual works as vessels of dishonor living in iniquity.
Many will see the kingdom of God (born again) but they won't enter because they had no relationship with Jesus Christ.

Please we have to help them.

Statistics have shown that the average Nigerian man does not bathe regularly and I have noticed it too. This is bad because we live in the tropics and the Nigerian sun is one of the hottest in the world.

They don't bathe, they don't brush and they don't wash their clothes. How do the women who date and marry these Nigerian men even cope? They are just suffering and smiling.

Nigerian men are irredeemably dirty. Chai!!!

It's a pity.
I'm writing this because one Nigerian guy hugged me in school yesterday and I started smelling like fermented locust beans😭

One Nigerian man put his boxers in our washing machine and our laundry room stank for years, we had to fumigate the house 😭

We need to help our Nigerian brothers. Because if they continue like this, their prized white and foreign women will not like them again.
One thing I love so much about extremists is that they will do anything to get attention, if it includes cooking up wild statistics from one event (which may be fictional) Because your dad or brothers (if you have any) or male friends smell like fermented locust beans does not mean that it's an attribute of Nigerian men.
I've met women that have body odor and smell like suffering but I don't wake up and post it on nairaland cursing every Nigerian women.
