who beings are born out of sin. for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. every nigerian is an agent of corruption. all governors are criminals but in duke we have seen a lesser evil. we are not surposed to look for an angel among men but what we are saying he is the best among equals and his works need to be praised and in that light encourage the other ones. people ae mearnt to feed from their working places so if duke steal or take your money, for been the best among his equals, u better withdraw this case. cross rivers, nigerians and the world is praising him for his courage and wisdom so our prayers will be for his succeesssors to see reasons to maintain this projects as that has been the problem of nigerian projects-lack of maintainance |
Ribadu is a good movie actor and i wonder why he is yet to find his fit in the nollywood. pete edochie and rmd are all good but ribadu is better because the way he interprets scripts make it look real than the writter can even imagine. Orji Uzo this, orji uzo that but let us wait till may 29 but orji started waiting for the efcc at least three days to may 29 he removed his cloths of immunity and stood up for the task ahead. we shld all remember that orji was talking about obj when he was president let ribadu attack him so that he will tell nigerians what they are yet to hear about obj. yar adua and obj are stepping with caution. all the ex-govs know things we don't know so random arrests can expose or even explode the country. they are all guilty and they are all out of immunity so anyone can go down but above all, as a good actor, ribadu cannot try to bite the finger that is feeding him. from the unset, i know he is not what he claims. real people like okonjo iweala could not exist alongside obj. |
i wonder why too many people are so surprise that uba is to be a minister. is it not obvious that in nigeria, it has been a case of no victor, no vanquished since the end of Biafra/nigeria war. obj was angry with yar aduar for adhearing to the verdicts of the supreme court over uba so the only way out is to ask him what he wants to avoid obj back with a third term bid again. as we are talking, nigeria belongs to obj and it is only God that will save us. this is a one clear case where all of here who believe in efcc shld begin to think twice. uba's case in the usa is a clear case, established by the law enforcement agents and decided by a law court found him guilty and gave him an option of fine which he paid and forfeited most of the property bought with the money and the remaining money in the account. yet he was made a governor against the wishes of his people forced out again by the supreme court and now on a ministrial list. what a shame? where in the world does a crimal confirmed by a law court becomes a preacher of war against corruption? where in the world will an uba with a record worst than a renowed crimnal will context for a governor? it is only in a nigeria owned and controlled sole handly by obj/yar adua group of companies. by the way, does the birth of this administration gave any hope of changes to any well meaning nigerian? for me, i will be surprise if the list end up without such man like our able and most inteligent Adedibu not after all his efforts in delivering pdp. please the senate and efcc shld quick join me in the campaign for Adedibu for minister of petrolium or at least minister of defence or even the minister of education. those who work must eat and let the case of adedibu not be different. yar adua my foot. |
mamajama, who are the corrupt officials in nigeria that dropped from the presidential race? obj was out to frustrate those he felt could give a fight to yar adua or isn't that obvious? if he was fighting against corupt people, then what happened to Andy Uba? was he not corrupt? you claimed to be in the usa and that you are close to the people in power, are you not aware of the case of money laundary established in the usa against uba which involved the use of the presidential jet in bringing us$170,000 into the country illegally. was he not convicted and fined in the usa? if the likes of odili and co dropped from the presidential race, what have happened now that they are no longer under imunity? is it not obvious here that those who bargained with obj on the presidential election are still walking our streets tall. does dropping from presidential election make sinners saints? it is unfortuante that when topics like this pose questions, the author never give answers. in one of your responses here u surported the idea that immunity was the only thing seperating atiku from kirikiri. is he still under immunity? are u not aware that negotiations have been on between him and FG otherwise he will nail all and they are sharing no more immunity. the government was corrupt and her organisations were corrupt and the election it was organising was corruption itself. the only known sinners were anti-obj's tyrany. please you and afam should tell us here in this forum in which areas of obj's governance that he failed. |
u did not tell us who u think killed him. all the same, i think it is the last baba wey rule naija. anyway, u can contact the family members as i am sure they know the killer of their father |
nigerian strikes are like a demonstration we did when i was in alvan ikuku college of education owerri. we were asked to pay 1,500 naira exams fees so we protested that and demonstrated. at the end of the demonstration, everybody was asked to go home for one month and when we came back, we were asked to pay 1,000 demonstration fees as well as 1,500 exams fees. most of the nigerian labour leaders do not call for strike at the right time and when they do, they don't know the right time to call it off. in discussing strikes in nigeria, one shld be able to look back on how many times these strike issues have come up and how many times it ended with the expected results. selfish interests in nigeria takes more ground than national interests. at the end of the day, the labour leaders will be compensated and the strikes will be called off leaving the common man with nothing to celebrate at the end of the day. |
if we think of their name, what about the other ones with good names? the major problems of nigeria resides in aso rock and a way forward must come from aso rock. if we want to be fair enough, how can a president, a governor or even our law makers use the police in their efforts to throw money about? it is in nigeria that you see police cars as the best way to transfer funds and contra-banned items. why wouldn't police be corrupt when they are aware of all the secret and crude transactions of their ogas. trace all political crimes in nigeria, they must be linked to the police. the issue as i understand here is that the aso rock activities especially negative activities must pas through the nigerian police. on the other hand, FG must find a way to better the welfare of our chief security officers(police). i was with a senior police officer who visited me here in dubai from nigeria and each time we see dubai police, he will tell me that he is ashamed to be a police man. the dubai police is so equiped that they move on the latest cars with full options and security gardgets. at least every police car here has an internet connected computer but it will be easy to say that most of the men of nigerian police are not computer literate. government is not trying to be helpful and the police itself has choosen her own direction. |
the nigerian football association has been turned into kogi football association by lulu following the appointments of his 20 kinsmen including his son. what are we up to as a people. are the 20 people appointed by lulu the best in their positions and as members of the nfa and co-incidentally come from kogi. please in case u care see the news in: vanguard 22 june 2007. we are not matured in any manner |
what is all these arguements all about? the fact that a nigerian born person could stay abroad for only 2 years and experience how sweet live is, when he comes to nigeria, he will see an oposite side of his expereince. the truth of the matter is that a real german man with a lot of goodies in life would have not accepted the contract but those ogunje people must have preached him into it so that they will make out enough money for themselves. how are we going to ask vogts to stay without light? how are we going to convience him to fly local flights that fall on daily bases? how is he going to cope with mosquitoes in nigeria? what about armed robers? police harrasments and bribry? our gutters (roads) are not passing cars as against the ever speed on signalled roads in his country. who among us can cope? if they want him to teach football, he will. if they want him for business then enough of their newspaper rantings. they are all learned and shld know when they are signing a big contract with big clauses. |
who is calling for his release and why? he did enough to deserve death. he killed and the bible said those who live by the sword will die by sword. he was not merciful in all his endeavours so he deserves no mercy. the last straw that destroyed the carmel back was his knowledge and exposure of the arrangements that brought OBJ to power in 1999. besides he is a security risk to the nation might they release him |
at this point, the best thing that will happen to the club will be the exit of wenger to give way to a new arsenal club with a different ideology. it is obvious arsenal is one of the richest clubs in europe but wenger has soaked himself so much with pride in his intentions and claims to make history with youngstars and such a risk gamble are done at the detriments of the fans and club. it is not on record that winning team will be changed without notice. pride goes before a fall. arsenal was on the winning lane with the likes of Edu of brazil, kanu, pires, ray parlour, bergkamp, patrick veira, sol campbell and lauren but all of a sudden there came a flush and a replacement with the likes of toure, farbragas, ebua, danelson, johan, alidiera, poom, adebayo and a host of other strange and funny names. it will be nice to appreciate the fact that they are all wonderful boys but what happens to the almighty experiences needed within the 90minutes of play. who is not ready to accept the fact that wenger went mad in selling veira 13.7 and buying walcot 15? to u all who are arsenal for life, u can let the management know that i will be ever ready to take over from wenger and it is my promise to make a difference as i will be ready to spend their money on more experienced players who are winning conscious than entertainment . the selling of henry perhalps in wenger's ideology will introduce 5 youngstars who will mature in the next 2 seasons so for u fans out there be ready to wait for th next two seasons |
I-man, u are funny. 2.2 million barrels of oil what about other mineral resources in nigeria. what about the countries wiithout 1 barrel of oil? what is the quantity of oil america produce on daily bases? united arab emirates make their major income through tourism and a couple of months ago, it was announced that dubai as a state realise about 1million dollars on trafic offenders on daily bases. donald duke's recreation project in his state (tarnapa) is bent of getting 1 billon dollars annually. does man live by bread alone? in your analyses, did u ralate the quantity of our daily oil production to the amount our leaders take out of nigeria on daily bases. benin is depending on nigeria for power supply and petrolium yet they have steady power supply and steady supply of petrolium. the major problems of nigeria lies on our leaders |

if we must keep sentiments out of it, we will all agree that niger delta have been neglected but the more neglects come from leaders of the niger delta. even the so called militants at a closer look will be seen as not having the interest of their people at mind. it sounds funny but if we can use donald duke as a case study here, one will be able to conclude that he was outstanding among other governors so what happened to the allocations given to these other governors who were unable to raise a tanapa in their various states? on the other hand, we had an alamaysiya who was linked to a refinary outside the country while the vast parts of his state are still in darkness and bad roads remained a normal way of life. we had an odili who kept on commissioning a power supply unite that only worked on the pages of newspapers. if we tell ourselves that truth, most of the so clalled leaders of the niger delta, are richer than the states and their wealth has no other routes. if the niger delta has the interest of her people at heart, let them start leadership by example. |
mamajama, you disappoint me again. you claim to be close to the powers that be in nigeria yet you have never heard. anyways that is nigeria for you. everything is at its worst even the judiciary. in every country of the world, judiciary after finding you guilty must place you under certain punishments as stipulated in the law of the land. why was he removed from the seat? does it mean he was guilty? if yes, is there no punishment for his offence? why is it that positive rewards or incentives are given to offenders as against punishments as stippulated in the constitution. if actually andy uba was humilated out of office, for electoral offences or whatsoever, at least a ten year ban will be humane to discourage intending riggers but what do we have here? a no victor no vanquished situation which has distroyed the country. the bad blood from the old fool who just left aso rock is still flowing in aso rock. where is ribadu? where is icipc? where are all the organisations established to fight corruption in nigeria? why have Andy Uba till date remained a saint and grow from strenght to strenght? what kind of a country is this even market traders and okada people can in details discuss the guilts of our must rule rulers. yar adua in his few steps is worth congratulating but am afriad it is really difficult or i may say it only takes a miracle for a sanke to give birth to a lion. may God help nigeria |
and nobody mentioned borishade - minister of education, minister of aviation and minister of information, youth and culture. |
i must rule or continue to rule has become the watch word for the nigerian politicians. no wonder Obj in one of his election speeches said the election was going to be a do or die affairs. most of our nigerian rulers have killed or have been killed because of their desperate intentions to rule even when it is obvious that the people do not want them. examples of such cases include; IBB left under preasure, Abacha died fighting to rule, Obj left because he could not help it after failing in his third term bid and warming up to be the next chairman board of trusttee(pdp), ararume- was ready ro do anything to be the governor of imo state after eight years in the national assembly, bode george- pushed from the education ministry for incompetence to aviation ministry down to information and culture ministry, Andy Uba the 17 days governor of anambra after been obj's special adviser for some years and presently been tipped for the post of pdp chairman. must they continue to rule? do they have what others don't have when it comes to governance? are they forcing themselves on the masses? are they proffessional politicians? what are the rationale behind all these i must rule and continue to rule until death do them part? |
pls let it not be like obj who will go cut down the price on the pages of news papers and other media houses yet the pump price will remain the same. again, whenever there is fuel hike in nigeria like this especially since 1999, if the people revoltes, the game will always be ok and then there will be scarcity which will turn the whole nation into a black market arena for petrolium products. let it be a different ball game here. |
he can't pack his things just like that. there is a clause in the business deal contract that our idiot leaders signed with him which makes the man the dictctor here. if there is an act of sacking, the nfa will pay him all the salaries due to his contract duration. who among us here will not utilize such opportunity if it comes to him? who among the people who went for the negotiation does not know that he should live in nigeria just because they have their selfish interests, they did not mind about the terms of the contract. we are the architects of our own problems. bad leaders |
loyika, you sound like a saddist. who made you a judge over us? coment if u care and quit if you don't care. guners, it is a pity, i learnt the guner wants to concentrate of hand ball that is why they are buying more keepers than players. wenger has added a third name to his name - confused - arsenal confused wenger. all the same, he buys from the back doors so we will not be surprised if he has bought twelve at the moment. |
Uzor kalu - eyimba obj - charlton mugabe - arsenal rafeal nadal - real madrid tom cruise - real madrid tiger wood - chelsea kobe bryant - barcelona chidichris - chelsea micheal essien - chelsea mikel obi - chelsea drogba - chelsea thiery henry - man u mourinho - chelsea abromovic - chelsea |
Seun, i am afraid i have to disagree with you here. on individual bases, which country of the world do you this is making more eforts than nigerians? a country blessed with all the natural resources of the world yet her citizens are scattered all over the world in their eforts to make life. how many people are loosing their lives on our bizare roads on daily bases or are you saying the individuals shld go and mend the roads. how many individual comapnies fold on daily bases because of high costs of productions or are you saying the individuals shld go and make laws guiding productions in nigeria? how many people have lost their fortune in our banks in the pasts? the major problems of nigeria lie on government policies like in the area of security, power supply etc. there are basic armenities of life which the government owns here citizens. in which other countries of the world do you think the niger delta can exist outside nigeria. niger delta is a broad day robbery. rob peter to pay paul. we are known for sufering and smiling. is it not obvious that the only working progressive policy of our government is the policy of money laundary which permits every leader in nigeria to try as much as he can to relocate any amount possible. what could be more frustrating than a government that canot trace the killers of Ige? how possible was the leadership of Obj and atiku and till now, the case is heading to no victor, no vanquished and they will go home trilonaires at the expense of the citizens. i still want to show my respect for the por masses of nigeria as they have remained loyal even in the presences of clear evidences of ungodly leaderships. the point is that government has refused to live upto her own side of the bargain hence growth has become dificult. trace countries of the world or let us say africa and tell me which has more individual eforts like nigeria |
Denex, i want to believe you are a nigerian. how many innocent people are in nigerian police? how many of them was arrested by Keyamo? how many are dying in jail because the nigerian police is investigating their case. Ehindero is a nigerian and we are not here to say he is guilty or not but we are saying he should be arrested, investigated and confirm guilty or not guilty. Asari was innocent and had been in jail for months if not years. alamasiya is innocent and had been in jail or are you saying Uwazuruike, Mustapha and a long list of others are not nigerians or do they have a different constitution upon which they are been persecuted. nigeria has only one constitution so which ever paragraph of that constitution that warranted the arrest and detaintion of others shld equally warrant the arrest of ehindero by the way, tell us here what happened to his predecessor in the name of Balogun, was he guilty before he was arrested? i still get confussed on our theories and constitutional interpretation here in this forum where we authoritatively reduce learned men like keyamo. this same Ehindero in his movie script interpretation a couple of weeks back played on the intelligence of nigerians in his parade of the killers of Bola Ige so why won't he buy millions of houses and carry money in bags. the cast is down and God of venegance has finally intervened so the killers must be killed and judges must be judged and that has been the cries of the poor masses. can't u see, andy uba is gone as we pray that efcc will soon visit him. |
this thread shld have been a complete statement if the poster had put it this way; isreal and fattah do not want peace and hamas wants peace. hamas, is in two war fronts viz; home(fattah-abbas) and foriegn(isreal). hamas has succeeded but in a few days time, we will be able to analyse their success, relate it to the welfare of the palestines and compare it to what they are preaching and then we will know whose interests are been protected. on the other hand, abbas has appointed an independent person(a finance minister) as the new PM so at least one will believe there is an internal war in palestine as well as in lebanon. God will be the Judge here. |
this administration has something good to be remembered for. if this administration did not do anyother good thing, i will not feel too bad. in fact with this alone, i can comfortably rate this administration as been better than the past administration. he should go to uttah farm at least he invested some of the laundered funds in farm tools so he should be a shareholder there. another positive step will be to trace his ways to the throne, oh am sorry the yar is also involved. EFCC can revisit his USA money laundary case, waht am i saying? obj was involved. anambra can breath again at least an anambra without the ubas. God has began a good work, am sure he will do it to the end. |
barca will play under tension as they have started pricing malloca us$600.000 if they can get draw or win over maldrid. it is high time fifa find solution to all these tricks. the so-called hand of God should be turned to hand of someone else.this is part of chaeting that is spoiling the game. let madrid take the day |
to hell with him and his advise. |
i am commenting based on the fact that people are entitled to their opinions here. our major problem with colonialism is the rape of our natural resources according a writter here but my question to that is; were we aware of the existance of the so called natural resources? to what extent were the so called natural resource relevant to our society in the per-colonial africa? and how far have we gone since independence with the so-called natural resources? the plain and bitter truth about it all is that there is no possiblity of any colonial master to be in nigeria till date without power supply above other basic needs of life. if any of us here know about ethiopia, he/she would be quick to accept that the colonised african countries are better off. come to the think of it, is the human cargo worse than the killing of twins? the most important thing is that colonialism had come and gone yet africans especially leaders are still behaving as if we are not ripe to lead ourselves. look at the governance in africa, it is like a group of coursed people who are out to kill and die to lead. people killing just to be leaders. people dying just to be on seat forever. people who are not ready to quit even when they know the people are tired of them. technologies and religions came with colonialism and if we compare and contrast, i am always in a haste to say colonialism was the best thing that happened to africa and the worst thing was our quick discharge of the colonial masters. i still want to remind all of us here that south africa, the only europe in afria is a product of colonialism, Abidjan popularly known as peti-paris( meaning small paris) is a product of colonialism. africans can now enjoy a few minutes travels against months on legedez benz. our women can now choose who to marry against the cultural slavary which will force her to marry to a 100 years man who the family is indebted to(lol). people can now communicate from their villages to america via telephone. events can be viewed live for unimaginable distance live and direct. if i may ask, is it better that our natural resources lay waste instead of someone coming to take some and expose others to us? i still think colonialism was good but like seun said, it is time to move forward but our leaders need to be re-colonised at least to understand the meaning of leadership. knowing the best time to quit as that is the most important thing to avoid over-staying welcome. |
Tornadoz, i want to give you my reasons for supporting Bush. 1. the name osama bin laden is not new neither did it start gaining popularity with the bush government and the name has been there melting out problems to americans and their interests take for instance the bombing of american embassy in kenya. 2. i have watched many movies and documenttaries on the 9/11 attack on the usa. i shield tears each time i watch them. i wish u can close ur eyes for a minute and imagine(God forbid) your mother, your father, your wife or your loved one calling you on phone and informing you of a must come death. imagine the crowd having people all works of life dying for reasons they don't know. 3. it is obvious that afghanistan was in bondage before Bush's intervention and today there is change of life as no one can see reasons for osama sponsoring a government and giving out orders stopping the people from embracing western education while all his family members are western brought-ups. 4. the issue of saddam was like excess powers pushed him to invade kuwait with saudi arabia, bahrain, jordan and united aram emirates in cue for take over with his threats that he had wmd in case of any intervention which led to the intervention of bush senior in 1990. UN called off the war given saddam to open up for weapon inspector to be sure iraq had nothing but a defiant saddam refused till bush decided to introduce force. other crimes of saddam including the killing of his two inlaws could be called domestic crimes but at least he is gone with his children as members his government and death squad. i want to say it here that even some of us here are confused who they are against, bush or america? i am saying this because bush is not more than eight years on seat so it could not be bush they are against but if it america then they still quote the positions of some senior senators in the house who are also americans. by the way, most of these issues are well debated in the house before the swing into actions. i am not surprised that afam as a person do not take his time to give points one after the other rather he make out time to reply insults one after the other. travelling they say is part of education, so afam if you have not travelled out of nigeria, i suggest you do same at least to meat people with diffferent reasoning and thinking background. it is not always enough for you to come from the eastern part of nigeria to lagos and see two or three story buildings in lines arround festac or bridges in mile 2 or the noisy natures of oshodi, no there is more to that. come out of your shell, take your time and visit cotonou, senegal, togo for instance, seat back and think of their sources on income compare them to nigeria and begin to believe that we are under a course. i don't mean to be rude here but a man that travels wide according to the ibos has more knowledge than elders at home. i am not really surprise with your reasoning abilities and your rate of calling people names. you do say here that some people here do not use their brains and that most of us have been brain washed by the western medias but if i may ask, from where do you get your information. from oshodi market or ojota bus stop? it is not a thing of boasting afam, i have met and i meet from day to day people from all works of life and i talk to them one on one at least you will begin to understand that even the arabs are been used for these wars by a group for selfish interests. as am speaking to u now most iraqis are here in dubai and dubai as a place is a kind of american extension. afam, the bitter truth is that u need to change location and feel something new and think fresh and remember the westerners that you hate, you cannot do without. the computer u are using, the cloths u wear and 99% of your day to day activities depends on them yet they are the evil u know. you coming from former anambra state cannot boast of anything good outside local shrines and in the ibo land as a whole because of this your type of wisdom, Nwobodo and Ekwueme can never allow peace to reign in the political parts of our lives and the emergence of the ubas is another wisdom of your type. we all know why biafra lost the war so everything about enugu/anambra has been the issue with okadigbo claiming to be the wisest man in the history of nigerian politics. speaking more political grammers than the dictionary just to get evan ewerem out of power but what happened later. some wisdoms are more dangerious than ignorance have a rethink |
if you are talking about election, there was none but if you are talking about selection, Yar Adua of course. the first time obj was a military president, it was yar adua's elder as his second. when obj was arrested by abacha, it was alongside yar adua so obj coming back as president could have been the too but for the sake of sponsorship and someother reaso, it was atiku so the only way to continue the obj - yar adua family friendship will be to hand over to the same family maybe the next will be Gbenga obasanjo or iyabo anything can happen |
arrest who and for what? our able president was a governor and is surposed to be among the ex-governors to be arrested and to crown it all, he has confessed to coming into aso rock through the wrong way. he is a product of corruption so any attampt for corruption to attack or arrest corruption will lead to another chat buster as was seen in the regretable oputa panel where mustapha exposed the selection of the great obasanjo by a few generals though he has been paying for it since then. it is only God tha will save us from this particular administration that maurice iwu ushered in via the worst selection(election) in the history of nigeria. let no one be arrested as stealing has become the order of the day within the political class. let it not be like obasanjo who choosed to punish only abacha among everyother former president of nigeria. what a funny country that everything is based on selection - power, security, water, justice, position, election etc are all products of selection |
