Life is full of ups and down, and this ups and down teaches us a lot of life lesson. Some people may happear nacarssist, others egoist and some plain arrogant. But we never know what they have been through. We never know their side of the story. What made them like that. My biggest life lesson is that you can't please everyone, life is too short for such things. The best we can do is to live and enjoy every moment of it!
Do not burn bridges. The people who contributed to your success may be needed during your downfall. They should be appreciated irrespective of their current status.

In a photo shared on twitter showing Bola Tinubu in his jihad regalia captioned with an explicit content which may either tell who the next president will be

"Nigeria's next President in 2023? The race has started... Best wishes to one of Nigeria's most influential politicians ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU.."

goldcoinhub:
Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has accused his colleagues in the Senate of rejecting technological advancements, which he considers as a confirmation they are still living in the Stone Age.

The senator representing Bayelsa east, said Nigeria has become the laughing stock in the world because of the “inability of senators to function in the 21st century”.

While speaking with BBC Pidgin, Bruce accused his colleagues of heading towards the opposite direction for rejecting a bill he sponsored on electric cars.

He said:

“Nigeria is really the laughing stock of the world because of my colleagues who cannot function in the 21st century,”

“An electric car is very efficient. Towards your driving, it tells you how many miles you have left. Full charge, about a hundred miles. You see how simple it is? But my colleagues in the senate, who are in the stone age do not understand this.

“Our politicians are moving in the opposite direction. Whether they like it or not, the world will move towards electrical cars. That is the way of the future. Combusting engine cars are inefficient, they kill people. Today, nobody in his right mind will build a factory to make combusting engine cars.

“We will end up being the dumping ground of the world because the world is moving in one direction, the Nigerian senate is moving in the opposite direction. You replace your petrol station with solar powered charging stations. Anytime you wanted to charge your car, you go to the gas station, and you charge your super charge 30 minutes, you get a hundred miles of charge. How many people drive a hundred miles, one (hundred and) fifty kilometers a day?

“Nigeria spends over a trillion naira every year subsidizing petrol. If they listen to me, they will be cautious what we have and what we can benefit from this technology. If they don’t, they will be left behind and Nigeria will be a third world country forever. So they have a choice. Either way, I win, they lose.”

A good thought from Ben Bruce.
However, the maturity of Electrical cars and charging stations depends on “electricity”.
If we can channel this energy to fight the forces that have kept this country in perpetual darkness and dependence on generating sets, I think electrical cars, charging stations and associated technologies can easily be sorted.

Politics / Re: Bill Reducing Cost Of Burial In Anambra Passed By House Of Assembly by chima4UK(m): 4:18pm On Apr 10, 2019
cyrilamx:
The Anambra State House Of Assembly has passed a bill that seeks the reduction in the expenses of organising funeral and burial rites in the state, and to prosecute offenders.

Sponsored by Hon. Charles Ezeani, the member representing Anaocha 11 constituency, the bill was passed after due consideration by House during Wednessday's plenary session.

The just passed bill provides that in the event of death, no person shall deposit any corpse in the mortuary or any place beyond two months from the day of the death.

The bill also noted that from the commencement of the law, no person shall subject any relation of the deceased person to a mourning period of more than one week from the date of burial ceremony.

Apart from the number of days recommended for burial ceremonies, the bill equally frowns on other flamboyant means of celebration that may cause destruction of property, gunshots, praise-singing, blocking of roads and streets during burial ceremonies; it also states that defaulters shall be punished in accordance with the law.

It further states that burial ceremonies in the state shall be for one day.

The bill further stipulates that during burial and funeral ceremonial activities, the family of the deceased shall provide entertainment for their kindred, relatives and other sympathizers at their own discretion.
And we are yet to get a bill prohibiting high bride price.

Speaking further on the signifance of the  bill, Charles Ezeani, the sponsor of the bill who represents Anaocha 2 Constituency, maintained that the bill also made provision for a monitoring and implementation committee that would enforce the law as well as their responsibilities.

The lawmaker described  the bill as "an important and great achievement by the 6th Anambra Assembly", as it had put to rest the high cost of burial and funeral activities in the state.

Rita Maduagwu, Speaker of the Assembly, commended the lawmakers on the quick passage of the bill, saying it would "moderate burial expenses in the state".

That's why you need to run that your small or big company just like a way standard organization runs it when it comes online fund transfer. Best way to deal with that is give 7 to 12 business days for any refund and its to be transferred to the account you got the payment from. If the sender is giving you another account details, just talk to your bank to help you reverse the payment as you have no knowledge of such transaction.

You are right . However, the freebie spirit and get rich-quick tendency will not allow so many people to think straight in times like this .

Of course, minimum is like 70 to 80 years, and if you don't take time, you might end up staying in a particular country for like 50 years, with near zero travel experience, no experience with other cultures, etc. You just live to wine, dine, fuvk, then rinse and repeat!

Research. It will come in handy either now or the future.
You can pick a random subject and read up on it. When a certain level of knowledge is amassed you can then create a journal of sort using it.
I had the hobby back in the day but lost the zeal. I guess I’ll go back to it because I turned out wiser at the time.
In a work place the skill can play out especially if you decide to think up ways to improve the workforce or the business environment.

You are right . Please, develop the research skills . The world future innovations are research and data-driven, researchers may be needed to play a major role especially in the area of AI and robotics .
