Politics › Re: Why North Fears Restructuring – Masari, Katsina State Governor by ChimaAdeoye: 9:13pm On Jul 31, 2017
Kazim88:
From: Lawal Sa’idu Funtua, Katsina

Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State has disclosed that the North’s over dependence on what is coming from the centre is the source of fear by the region over the agitation of restructuring by the North.
“This over dependence on allocation from the centre must stop if we are to progress. We have the population, we have both human and material resources; but we must have the political will to do the right thing” he added.
Masari made the disclosure, yesterday, while launching the production of PVC Pipes by AMPRI GLOBAL Limited at their production sites in Kankia, Katsina State.
He noted that the only way out was through the promotion of medium and small scale businesses to provide revenue for both the state and local governments and generate employment for the youth to boost their economic status.

According to the governor the Kankia Metal Works was leased to the AMPRI GLOBAL Limited in order to put machineries provided at the site to proper use and ease the government wasteful spending in maintaining the facility even though it was not operating.
In a remark, the state commissioner of commerce, industry and tourism, Alhaji Abubakar Yusuf said with the commencement of production of PVC by the company it had fully completed its full package of production lines.
He assured the people of the state that the present administration was committed to the resuscitation of additional industries and establishment of new ones in the state through partnership with prospective investors.

http://www.peoplesdailyng.com/why-north-fears-restructuring-gov-masari/
If the north had allowed devolution of powers, many states or regions of nigeria would today be in partnership with mining companies to develop their economy, export agricultural and industrial products, build power stations, rail infrastructure etc which would boost their IGR.

But the north thinks more about stopping others than development of everybody. They are worried if other regions develop, they are building a nation within Nigeria using their own exact words. In the process of trying to suppress other regions from having the power to develop their economy, the north suppressed themselves. Not to mention the severe hatred such deliberate repression policy of other parts of Nigeria breed among the people to severely damage unity

Abooki is trying all sorts of deceitful news since it is now clear Yoruba is openly asking for self determination after they blocked all avenues for restructuring the country based on regions.

Crowd echoed IMO state. OK, IMO state was created in 1976, before IMO was created in 1976 which state are mine from? Crowd echoed Anambra State, then I rest my case,

chaii see undiluted wisdom
It is very very dangerous to bring Anambra vs imo kind of talk into this discussion.

Nnamdi Kanu is an Igboman and has right to speak on Anambra issues.

I am from Anambra and Nnamdi Kanu is my leader. But i respectfully disagree that boycotting a local elections will bring referendum. It wont. Tragically the impact of enthroning a hostile APC stooge as a governor of a key Igbo state will create an Armageddon of battles among Anambrarians vs IPOB which our enemies love. Worst still is the collapse of the little basic services as schools, hospitals, security infrastructure etc which even make it possible for those displaced in the north to see a safe SE to relocate.

I totally reject the strAtegy to boycott local elections as dumb and self destructive. Boycott National elections and helping to stop oil flow from our land are better strategies. Hit their pocket they pay attention. Kill pensioners and civil servants livelihood through surrendering anambra to APC crooks and they continue business as usual.

You mean the Igbos aren't suffering now?
I am a hardcore Biafran from Oraifite in Anambra state. None of you can claim to want Biafra more than i do.but we must not burn down Biafraland just to chase out rats in the house. That is the power of wisdom over emotion.

You people cannot assure that Biafra will come in 6 months or even 6 years. So why ask the people to comit suicide? Like agitation against apartheid that started in the 1960s and ended in the 1990s you must know freedom takes time and you must not ask the people to die before the day comes.

Your prescription is like saying since the fulanis wont leave Biafraland we should burn down the region until they do. The art of strategy is to figure actions that will hurt your enemy and spare the people.

Bet me, Anambra people support Biafra, but they will vote in November elections simply to maintain some normalcy of life and basic services as we agitate for freedom.

I must say i support gubernatorial elections to hold in Anambra. IPOB calculations on boycott of local elections leading to a referendum is just wishful thinking. We already know INEC will lie and say APC won if we didnt vote. So what good is it to hand over a key igbo state to your sworn enemy then turn around and protest the collapse of education, non payment of salaries, no hospitals not to mention workers owed 3 years salary?

Please we should look for how to boycott presidential elections and help our brothers in the niger delta in stopping oil flow to get resource control .
Those are better strategies than to seek complete death of credible leadership in tbe southeast by removing our ability to select responsible leaders.

Politics › Re: Why Igbos In The North Should Be Grateful To IPOB For Opening Their Eyes by ChimaAdeoye: 12:17am On Jul 25, 2017
APCLyingBastard:
Igbos in the north should be grateful to IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu for exposing the deep hatred which the average Hausa/Fulani holds towards them.

The Arewa Youth Forum through their spokesman, Yerima Shettima stated just recently that the reasons why the quit notice was issued was because of the utterances made against his region, people and Nation at large by Nnamdi Kanu.

Now, Radio Biafra has been on air from 2013 till date and was very active around 2015. But at no time did the likes of Shettima roll out his quit notice.

We can all see that, the Awusa will forever be an Awusa. Here we see an apex northern youth body issuing out quit notice on a whole tribe residing in their midst over the utterances made by one individual. Is this not the height of stereotyping?

Speaking of stereotyping we know from the reoccurring sectarian riots that have hit the north over the years of how Awusa Muslim youth have gone on rampage attacking and killing non-muslims and southerners in their midst over one false claim of a christian or southerner desecrating their Quaran or Mosque.

It is this same Awusa Muslims of the north who decided to attack and kill their fellow citizens over a cartoon depiction of their prophet published in far away Denmark and today these same hypocrites say that they are fighting to preserve one Nijeriya?

Or how about the Miss World riots that engulfed the north which saw the same northern Muslims going on rampage attacking their fellow citizens over misgivings they held over Nigeria holding the beauty pageant?

If we in the south and middle belt are to apply the same logical conclusion utilized by the Arewa youth in declaring the Igbos persona non gratia, then the Fulani and Awusa miscreants and terrorists that have wrecked and continue to spread havoc in our lands would have since been summarily sacked!

But here we see the useless ab0kis claiming "hurt feelings" over Nnamdi Kanu speaking about their carnage on our polity.

Any Igbo man still in the north who was already feeling very comfortable should realize from the Arewa Youth declaration that they never ever considered you welcome in their land and were only bidding time while taking stock of your properties in their land for future confiscation.

It is from this that a wise man among you will not attack IPOB or Nnamdi Kanu over your quit notice but rather be grateful to them for exposing to you the kind of people you decided to settle and invest among.
You nailed it bro.

Those igbos burying their life investment in the north deserve no pity.
They are typically poorly educated and very very stubborn. With their usual phrase " Nothing mega " The average northerner is quiet and listens to the strategic plan of their leaders. Thus in such issues they are smarter than the igbo artisan that simply works hard like a donkey but is tactless about the bigger picture, yet too stubborn to listen

Their investment in enemy territory was their own responsibility and they will not hold back other Biafrans freedom for their thoughtless behavior

Politics › Re: Femi Kayode - APC Photoshoot With Buhari Is Fake, buhari Is A Living Corpse by ChimaAdeoye: 2:17pm On Jul 24, 2017
Samzyarmani:
BREAKFAST IN LONDON WITH CITIZEN BUHARI
The picture of a handful of APC Governors and President Muhammadu Buhari, which was purportedly taken in London yesterday, is old and fake.
I have been reliably informed that they were taken during Ramadan in Abuja some time back and not yesterday in London.
Quite apart from that even though the picture was meant to have been taken in London curiously all the drinks on the table are Nigerian products and Nigerian-made.
Did the Governors take all those drinks along with them to London when they went to see the President?
Is Buhari not coming home again anytime soon? Acting President Yemi Osinbajo and some government officials recently told us that he would be back on the 28th of July which is just a few days away.
Why the need for the APC Governors to "visit" him in far away London if he will be back in Nigeria in a few days?
What was the purpose and point of this fake photo-shoot and this strange breakfast meeting? What was the purpose and objective of this monumental fraud and deceit?
Whatever the answers may be to these questions the curtain must be brought down on what can only be described as a puerile and nauseating conspiracy.
This crazy and noxious charade just has to stop. We do not wish the President dead but we have a right to know the truth. As a matter of fact we demand to know that truth because, as he once said himself, he "belongs to us all".
For those who still believe that the meeting actually took place there are some nagging questions that need to be answered.
For example why were the Nigerian and foreign media not allowed to cover the proceedings and participate in this celebrated photo-soot and merry London feast?
Why did the Villa press corps not take one of their own camera men to London and make a short video of this "historic" event?
Why was were the whole proceedings shrouded in so much secrecy? Why is it that only one picture was taken? Why were more pictures not shot? Why was Buhari not put on audio tape and interviewed whilst he was with his celebrated and important guests?
Why did he not offer a few words of hope and encouragement to the Nigerian people to ease the tension that has been generated in the land by his prolonged absence?
How can they expect us to take Governor Rochas Okorocha's word for anything without any solid proof or evidence to back those words up or give them a measure of veracity or credibility?
I for one would not believe a word that a man like Rochas tells me. If he told me that it was day outside I would have to assume that it was night. It is that bad.
Again why did Buhari not shake anyone's hands during the photo-shoot? Why did he not get up from his chair, say "cheese" and give us a big Daura smile?
Why was he just sitting there like a stuffed mannequin who really did not know where he was and who he was interacting with?
Is it not obvious that he can no longer function properly? Why all the tall tales that he is getting much better?
Is it not clear that he is simply being stuffed with and pumped up by a dangerous cocktail of steriods? Is it not obvious that he is suffering from an extreme form of dementia?
Is it not clear that even if he were to be brought back to Nigeria tomorrow he could no longer function properly and lead the nation?
Is it not obvious that he is barely lucid and that he is little better than a zombie?
Where is the shame in admitting these truths and prevailing on him to resign in order for him to be able to go home to Daura and take care of his health?
Better still he could resign and be taken to Prophet T.B. Joshua's Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos for prayer, deliverance and healing. I assure you that it works.
Those who truly love Mr. President and care for him ought to advise him to take one of these two options. Yet sadly few will do so.
The bitter truth is that we have become the laughing stock of the entire civilised world since this shameless charade began.
A nation of 180 million people whose President has gone missing and who have no idea where he is, what is wrong with him or what the prognosis for his condition is. The situation is shameful and bizarre.
Worse still we have a media that is so fawning in its attitude when it comes to the Federal Government and that is so easily intimidated that they simply refuse to ask the right questions about this matter or undertake to carry out the necessary investigations with a view to establishing the truth.
This is the greatest tragedy of all and it results in total impunity on the part of the government because the media is not prepared to keep them on their toes.
Yet it doesn't stop there. We have a Senate with 109 distiguished and able Senators and a House of Representatives with over 300 honorable legislators and yet not one of them has the fortitude or guts to call for the resignation of this ailing man who is clearly no longer well enough to lead our nation.
The following questions must be answered: are the Nigerian people under a blinding and binding spell? Is this the unholy work of vodoo-merchants, witch-doctors and necromancers?
Have our people been bound up and charmed by these broom-loving APC wizards and witches?
The truth is that God is watching this charade and He is not mocked. No matter what anyone says or does His will shall be done, His counsel shall stand, His purpose shall be established and His name shall be glorified in this situation and in our nation.
Nigeria is too important, too big and too good to be subjected to such malevolent indignities and infantile rubbish.
She is too blessed and advanced a nation to be manipulated by a faceless little cabal of power-hungry, godless, self-seeking, evil, callous and bloodthirsty men.
We as a people deserve far better than that and we ought to demand much more. Buhari is not a King with divine rights and neither is he God.
He is a human being like you and I and, just like us, blood runs through his veins. He is not immortal and he is not infallible.
He is mortal and he is fallible. He is not indispensible. Like all human beings, he is dispensible. With or without him Nigeria shall go on and our nation shall survive.
In any case whether he comes back alive or not is not the point and neither is it the relevant question.
The relevant point and question is whether he can continue to function as President if and when he does come back and, based on the information at my disposal, it is very clear to me that he will not be able to do so.
The truth is that if and when he does come back, he will come back as a shell of his former self. This is sad, pitiful and tragic but the sooner we come to terms with it the better it is for us all.
This is a man that I have been reliably informed has lost his memory, his powers of speech, his recollection of events and his ability to perform even the most basic mental and physical functions. A man in such a condition can hardly be described as being fit to rule this great nation.
The morbid obsession with retaining power at all costs which has afflicted those in the Presidency that Mrs. Aisha Buhari has graphically described as the "hyenas and jackals" coupled with their insidious attempt to institutionalise what I have described elsewhere as "corspsocracy" (the rulership of the living by the dead) in the body politic of our nation must cease forthwith.
Nigerians are gracious, kind, long-suffering, resilient, loving, patient and compassionate people who wish the best for their President but that does not mean that they should be taken for granted, taken for a ride or treated like fools. They are not children and they are not stupid.
It is time for this horrendous madness and hideous nightmare to stop!
It is time for Buhari's seat to be declared vacant and it is time for Acting President Yemi Osinbajo to fully take over and be sworn in as the new and substantive President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Let them continue deceiving Nigerians

Kanu is popular because he fearlessly speak what every Ohaneze man knows but dared not say.

We know the Fulani treats the south as conquered territory yet we say we are one Nigeria and nothing is wrong. If Buhari is declared dead, Fulani will find a scheme to prevent Osinbajo from becoming President or force him to resign after a few months. But if he is Fulani, it will be different.
