Politics › Re: Adeosun Explains Nigeria’s Borrowing Plans To Fund Capital Projects by chinchum(m): 8:50am On Feb 02, 2016 |
luvinhubby: Obvious lies.
Projected borrowing for 2016 budget at $38 per barrel of oil was 38%, current reality of $30 per barrel is 50% borrowing to break even in funding 2016 budget.
Recurrent expenditure - 70% Capital expenditure - 30% Implication: At least 20% of borrowing (N1.5 trillion or $7.5 billion) will be spent on recurrent.
APC should stop lying. the price of oil is not static, 38usd is the avg for year 2016. it could fall to 15-20usd, and also climb to 80 usd some other time . Moreover, projected oil receipts is even less than non oil receipts. |

Femich18: Sure dts true Bt currently we suffering on both front. No stable light and d tarriff increased. Atleast if its stable we won't complain of d tarriff It is a catch 22, if the tariff stays it might discourage further investment by private hands in the power sector, which will also affect power supply, so if the tariff will go up, the distribution companies must henceforth stop taking advantage of subscribers with ridiculous "overestimated" billing. With prepaid meters, i only pay for what i get, if there is zero supply in a month, i pay 0 naira. |

Going back 120 years is not the way to go, i guess the wright brothers did this that in 1890s & 1900s, what we need are SIMPLE invention for our very LOCAL/PECULIAR needs, gradually we scale up to bigger things. We still can not make pencils in Nigeria you dunce, check the mirror you will see a shallow minded typical african who prides more with vain glorying in lieu of results. you are always quick to say if he is encouraged, that is my sort of encouragement/tough love, he should redirect his research to a different line. I will be happy to invest my life investment in a man who comes up with very effective /CHEAP paints that is mosquito repellent , or simple water purifiers that can be easily affordable by rural dwellers in Nigeria. Not a man designing jets/ aeroplanes the same way it was done in 1899 in 2016. |

Politics › Re: Boko Haram Attacking Maiduguri Now-Saharareporters by chinchum(m): 11:25pm On Jan 30, 2016 |
Nigerian army should strive to defeat boko haram more by harming their logistics (food, fuel, water, transport system and ammunitions), that is more productive than killing 100 bh members. BH members fighters morale will always be higher than that of NA field officers morale , because bh is fighing on the belief that if they die, they are heaven bound.
Nigerian civil war of 1967 -1970 was ended on little or no access to biafran soldiers of food and weapons (no thanks to sudden currency change), if not the war would have gone on for decades. |

Instead of wasting time doing this, he should channel his energy doing something that the need is immediate, possibly mini drones that can be used for aerial surveilance.

M4gunners: Here we go again. Always travel out of the Country to make an important statement. The people who are suffering it,are ones living in Nigeria sir not the ones in Kenya. Does it really matters where important statements are made ? whether it is from mars, usa, somalia, or dubai, the needed thing is that it is reported by NATIONAL dailies . If he makes an important statement in a building directly beside your house, as long as you've got no access to the building, you will still need reportage from the media to know what he says. Much ado about nothing. Nigerians must learn not to make a mountain out of a mole hill. |
Romance › Re: When A Woman Is Complete And When She Is Finished. by chinchum(m): 12:02am On Jan 29, 2016 |
@Toks2008 , the best of relationships are the ones a lady at the very least slightly loves her man more than he loves her, yes it is essential there is mutual love, that kind of arrangement makes a lady to easily give respect and care the two topmost things a man cherishes in a relationship, and the man showers love to the lady in return. The equilibrium is easily maintained. Ladies might not confess this, but they struggle to RESPECT a man who loves them more than they do to him. You know how men view respect in a relationship, dont you? |

Politics › Re: Nigerians React To Martin Onovo's Interview On Channels Today - Video by chinchum(m): 12:29am On Jan 28, 2016 |
Eruditor: You are sounding as emotive as Onovo, makes me suspect you hail from the same ethnicity as him (which seems to be the basis of support most politicians get).
1. The question he asked about 1.9M votes is blanket and misleading. First, he assumes there were no voided votes but that's not what the figures posted by INEC claims. Second, he uses Kano as an example but not Rivers state or Akwa-Ibom that were FAR too glaring and nationally recognised as marred with rigging. Third, he makes a case for underage voters but seems to imply it is for APC when no evidence exists to support such a stance.
And to think of the fact that he got there by implying that elections didn't hold at all and as such PMB has a fake mandate.
Maupe was right by saying we voted change. She is right because the declared WINNER of the election ran on a campaign mantra that screamed CHANGE. She wasn't being partisan.
2. That you claim you didn't hear PMBs cert issue come up shows you are towing the same line of incredulity that Onovo tried to play when he was called out for implying that he didn't believe in the judiciary. Onovo alluded to it by saying it would've been a WASTE if he had gone to the courts to question the elections. This simply means he doesn't believe in the courts AKA He doesn't believe in the judiciary.
The PMB cert issue was implied furtively when he said Mike Ozekhome went to court to challenge the validity of PMBs candidacy. Manny4life, incase you do not know, Mike Ozekhome went to court on behalf of PDP to argue that PMB had no cert and should be rendered invalid as far as being the presidential candidate for APC. So yes, that was how Onovo alluded to it.
3. The part of a budget being presented 4 months and you not having heard of it calls for concern as to whether you know about Nigeria or if you just type willy nilly. I cannot remember more than twice in GEJs 6 years that his budget (that he never presented to the NA BTW) wasn't months late.
Stop playing politics and trying to feign your concern for Nigeria. You are still bitter that GEJ lost the elections. The constant talk about economic direction is becoming hackneyed and played out. Even mentioning Dasuki and Metuh already shows where you stand- oblivious of reality and bitter. Oh my, i didnt see this earlier, i could not have said it any better. How someone could have problem with pmb's 1.9 million votes in kano state, officially the most populous state, but no problem with gejs 1.4 millon votes in Rivers state or gejs 1.3 million votes in delta state eludes me. Delta /Rivers had roughly 75% voters turnout compared to kanos less than 55% voters turn out, he didnt feel something might be fishy, as the 75% is way higher than the 50%+ national average voters turn out ? Human beings are emotional, but when we allow emotions take absolute control of us, it totally beclouds our reasoning. What this government needs is sincere criticism, but not from a band of pained losers who have failed to make their criticisms constructive, just because they cant get over a loss. |
