The requests for groupies are typically overwhelming, especially at public places that they most times get nauseated. I can visualise how she feels. |
Possibly underground bunkers, dont forget at least 2 bunkers have been discovered by the Nigerian Army, and take note Sambisa forest is not the size of Apapa amusement park, Sambisa forest is larger in size than Lagos state, and extends from Nigeria in to cameroon and i think Niger republic. I notice that the mental block that make people say all sort of nonsense about sambisa forest is that they imagine it as some 5 hectares of land, that soldiers will swoop over and flush boko haram out |
TechWalker007:No, you are not getting the point, the increase in tarriff for prepaid meter users does not necessarily mean they will now pay more, for some it might mean they will pay less now., and in some cases they will pay more. Anyone paying roughly 2,500 per month using prepaid metre in time past will still pay roughly the same with increase in tarriff , courtesy scrapping of service charges. |
Truthhurtss:calm the fugk down, i didnt deny that in some cases there would be an increase, so it is you that needs to shut up. I am very certain for the average nigerian using prepaid meter, with much emphasis on the average and prepaid meter , with the current level of power supply, the cost will be in the neighbourhood of N2,000. The problem is that without prepaid meters, the officials rip off and bring estimated bills not commensurate with the power consumption. Except your definition of majority of Nigerians are those with high power consuming appliances like Air conditioners, and lots of electronics. Nigerians do not conserve power usage at homes, once they are aware charges are estimated, what this means is that some will pay little or nothing for the power they use and some others will pay way higher than the power they use. Ask anyone using prepaid meters if they have to pay as much as N10,000 at their homes, even with high usage of electrical appliances they will tell you no. An argument was canvassed by the miniser of power that what would guarantee supply of gases to some of power plants is an increase in tarriff, so that distribution coys can service their debts to gencos, that is open to debate. |
darlenese:Not in all cases, it depends on your consumption rate. The fixed charge used to be n750/monthly, so if you use avg of n1,000 supply monthly 1.e a total of 1,750, you will now pay 1,450(45% increase over 1,000), you can see in that scenario, it is a reduction in power cost. if ur monthly avg consumption costs is 1,500, before removal of service charge, you paid 2,250, now u will pay 2,225,i.e about the same price. Nigerians do not like to pay for govt services, and wonder why the service is inefficient, someone who spends N1,500 daily to fuel inefficient generator surprisingly will find it difficult to pay 10,000 monthly to power distribution coys to ensure efficient services |
Sibrah:This is what NLC should be fighting, but i notice NLC always treat symptoms of the problem and leave the cause, shame on them. Prepaid meters availability will solve a great chunk of the power problems, NLC should pressure the govt to phase out old meters within a stipulated deadline, Nigerians will learn to conserve what it pays for via a prepaid system. |
TechWalker007:20% increase for you, it could be 20% decrease for others or more. It is not simply black or white. |
No point, they should rather fight hard to ensure prepaid meters are distributed at no cost, and the value can be recouped over the years. There are no service charges any longer on the prepaid meters. |
His intelligence needs to be called to question, his defence made it worse. For over a year, he was deceived by an impostor, haba, he is either a fool or a tool. |
He is fucking up their psyche. There are at least 3 million people in Ekiti, what percentage of that number got the rice he is distributing? One of the reasons why the core North is where it is now is because of this mentality instilled in the populace. Oyo state citizens are gradually getting over the psychological hangover of Adedibus " Amala and Gbegiri" handouts ,to politically enslave the poor and breed mental laziness. Fayose has dusted the Adedibus template and he thinks Ekiti people deserves such. |
donveekings:No, excluding borrowing. You can check the breakdown, it is not hidden . this trend brings an omen that will lay the foundation for true and sustainable diversification of the economy from being a highly dependent oil economy. The last time we had such trend was in 1972. |
The Budget is truly a budget of change. History of 43 years was made. For the first time since 1972, the projected revenue from oil is less than the revenue projected from non oil related receipts |
texazzpete:Of a truth, 500,000 teachers to be employed appears a hard nut to crack, if they are paid a very conservative N10,000 in a month, that will translate to N60 billion naira in a year. Except FG is banking on funding from international bodies /agencies, it might be unrealistic. |
Build new ones please ! You made mention of avg of 40 million litres petrol consumption daily, we cant celebrate a kaduna refinery to produce 1.6 million litres. No No No, this government wont be forgiven if by middle of 2018, we are stilli importing refined fuel. ![]() |
he pointed out that if the issue of oil importation is sorted out, 35 per cent of imports would be saved, forex would also be saved and when demand for forex drops, the naira would stabilisethe part that caught my attention is that of oil importation, 35% of the total import is oil, meaning with refineries that meets local needs, we can cut off the 35% of waste of forex . Buhari and his minister of state for petroleum must not waste time, building of the refineries that will cut the imports must start early 2016, there is no point dillydalling over those wretched and money guzzler old refineries, by next week, they would be 7 months old in office. Kachikwu promised end of this month to arrive at the conclusion on the current 4 refineries, i am watching and many other nigerians are watching. Government can build the refineries now and privatise later, or a PPP scheme can be put in place, TIME IS OF ESSENCE, IT IS EASIER TO BEAR A PAIN, WHEN U CAN SEE CONCRETE ACTIONS ONGOING TO REMOVE THE PAIN IN DUE TIME. |
akagson:Dont mind those fools, nothing is new, the world suffered what was referred to as "great depression" in the 1920s, almost 100 years ago, i bet some deluded ones said end time too then ![]() |
The wife has sense that the husband does not have. |
which is quite possible, as a commodity trader, the only real support against it not heading to 20usd is around 33usd , should US crude price falls below 33usd, it will be heading towards the neigbourhood of 20usd. If it gets to 20usd , many states public workforce will undoubtedly shut down, it will FORCE A way forward thinking across states in the country, and tough decisions will be made |
shellworker:If you are sane, you will know, no one releases evil prohesies over his/her nation. If you connect with Fayose's prophesies, then by this time next year, Nigeria's economy will be blossoming, and Nigerians will smile and heap for joy, you will see it, but will not partake of it, all the prophesies of Fayose will be yours. |
Record low ! , but why will some one see a hero in this nonentity masquerading as a wise man ? |
ShowYourCertificate:So to you, this is because jonathan is not on seat ?? Oil price is almost at record low of 11 years, and you think this is about jonathan? Us crude now on 34.5usd Get your head out of your ass, i praise God daily. that gej never came back. Several indices can affect Naira to usd. 1. global price of oil 2. stonger us dollar or stronger us economy 3. Weaker Nigerian economy . The report talks about a stronger dollar and continuous downfall of crude price. |
When you deny young minds western education, and pump them up with religiousity, they become zombies almajiris like seen in thousands in the video, the Northen leaders starting from Tafawa Balewa, Ahmadu bello to current ones failed the Northern populace, events like these reawaken me to express gratitude to Obafemi Awolowo, roughly 50% of yorubas are muslims, but we dont see such extremism amongst them. The NA exhausted its patience, there could have been a suicide bomber amongst them. |
tpraiz:No probs bro, we all learn everyday |
tpraiz:Master mugun, what does late 20's mean to you ? when they say go school, you go dey smoke weed for school annex, you see your life Ba comprehension. Now, learn and know that Late 20's lies within 26-29 years of age |
Confessng:we are saying the same thing, the evil action was planned way earlier, the remorse could be immediately after or long after the crime. That is why if a man bumps in to meet a stranger sleeping with his wife, should he pick an object within that instance and strike the man to death, he will be discharged if he can prove the case, but it will be a different case if he locks up both cheating 2 in to a room and sets out to borrow a gun from his friend living next door, which he later uses in killing the man. |
Confessng:this was not a split second decision, it was premeditated evidently, and I think she deserved more than 9 years behind bar |
That is overr 50 billion naira |
tomakint: Opposition leader my foot !, you cant give what you dont have. |
@gaborone, your boss is only sentimental, nothing to suggest pmb is leaving out the salvaging of the economy to focus on fighting corruption, that assertion is intellectually fraudulent. Nigerias economy is currently badly hit, and it started from late 2014, but the effect was not completely instantaneous, as there were little buffers, Pmb has given the right attention to where it belongs, it also targets to recover 350 billion from looters to fund 2016 budget. 1. Does it occur to you that GEJ's budget for 2015 had 92% recurrent and paltry 8% capital, down from 2014 budget that had 73% recurrent expenditure and 27% capital expenditure. 8% on capital expenditure meant many FG projects were destined for abandonement. Ngozi O.I was screaming that 2015 will be tough, it wasnt a mere rhetoric. The current tough times in the country can be attributed to the fact that oil was the mainstay of the economy, PMB will try to weather the storm, but he cant stop the storm in the short term. Let me break your heart, 2016 will also be tough, i see a "sun after the rain" by the last quarter of 2016 it is not because pmb closed shop on economy that over 22 states govt were piling up debts of salaries of their workers, or that they cant afford to pay 18,000 minimum wage,or govt contractors are downsizing e.t.c , take note that the fall in oil price is also taking a toll on our Naira. The current govt has refused to devalue the Naira, as opposed to mostly external and some internal advice, it has instead introduced some policies aimed at discouraging import of certain products. The ministers clocked 30 days old today on their seats, they are not seated doing nothing, 2016 budget is on its way, the first budget of the current administration, the minister of state petroleum has said decision will be made on the 4 refineries that appear not resonding to fixes by this month end, i sense sincerity, and with sincerity, there is will power, and when there is a will, there is a way. |
The writeup is a mix of fallacy, chauvinism and truth. Ladies beware. |
