Romance › Do You Have An Ex - Best Friend Or Friend??? Why Did You Write Him/her Off by chineloSA(op): 10:05pm On Oct 06, 2013
Do you have an ex best friend? What happened? What made you to write-off the person? Did you reconcile? What did you learn from the situation?

In my case, it was a friend of mine. We were really as thick as thieves. Our families knew each other, I was her MAID OF HONOUR at her wedding, I was there, during her pregnencies, when her 2 kids were born, when she graduated with her first( undergraduate degree), second degree ( masters), marital problems as a friend etc.

She was doing her Phd and she had some difficulties with regards to her supervisor, who was supervising her Phd programme.
She came to me, telling me she wanted to quit the programme after having spent 4yrs on her complicated Thesis. As a friend I was so concerned that I refused to accept that she was going to waist time just like that and make her enemy win ( her Professor ). I tried advising her as much as I could, but my advice fell on deaf ears, she cancelled the programme.

I then invited one of our friends (friend # 2 ) who was also busy with her Phd to talk to her as she would understand since they were both on the same level of study and pour some sense into those deaf ears regarding quitting. As requested friend #2 picked up the phone ( since we all live in different cities ) and spoke to her. She listened and pretended like the advice was the best.

Immediately after ( friend #2 ) dropped the phone, my friend called me and was so mean to me. She fought me saying that I had no right talking about her biz to friend #2.

Her exact words were " You had no right discussing about my business with your friend ( who is her friend as well ). If I needed help I was going to ask her for help. In fact who do you think you arehuh? You are a nobody". undecided undecided She continued saying alot of hurtful things, and I listened

I immediately apologized and asked for forgiveness for talking to friend #2. I explained how concerned I was about her.

I then asked that we end our friendship at that time, no notice period, nothing. What made me do that was her statement "In fact who do you think you arehuh? You are a nobody" It was so hurting,I never expected that from her.

I then became clear to me that I may have been her friend because she felt that I was a nobody. I had to write-her-off at that time.

Its been two years now, hurt as I was. I still miss her, but life has to go on. I hope we both find peace, though she will miss my important milestones ( wedding, kids, graduations etc ) even though I didn't miss hers.

Our families never bothered to intervene and THANK GOD for that.

The best that came out of our situation is that she eventually re-instated her programme which she had cancelled and fought the bull by its horns. She graduated with her Phd this year. Ironically she called friend #2 to inform her.

I am glad that on trying to prove her point to me, she made it. Even though we are never ever gonna be friends again, but I am glad I was a motivation somehow. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

deols: I am not a professor yet but a doctor to be.

Vegetarians don't eat fish but you said you eat fish. You could say that you are on a no-meat diet or whatever translates to mean that.

so, how do you do now and what medication do you take

apart from meat, what else do you keep away from?
Mxceeeewww.

Things dont always happen as per the theory you learn at the Medical School, luv. There are things that Medical Scientists say cant happen and they happen.

So take some several seat and save your knowledge for when you go for your practicals. If you were qualified, I would have engaged with you.

I cannot appoint a student to be my GP. I have attended doctors qualified than your self in terms of knowledge and experience ( Dermatologist, Hamatologist etc) to resolve my problem. Sorry, cant waist my time on an unqualified novice.

The way you question is very rude. wink wink wink wink

deols: You are not a vegetarian. What is your health condition, if you don't mind.
I wonder what makes you to say I am not huh huh huh Do you know me? Smdh

Well, I develop a skin condition which looks like ringworms from my head down to my toes. It forms something like a big round ringworm, when it dries out, my skin honestly resembled a frogs skin.
One time I was forced to cut my hair so that I could be treated.

Tests were done, though not completed as they take not one but numerous tests.

So what makes a vegetarian ''PROFESSOR OF DOCTORS" undecided undecided undecided

The board on top of one pedestal is to keep my earrings, not sure if its appropriate to hang it somewhere, or leave it just like that( on top of my pedestal)

the curtains are white, I did it because I do not have good lighting/ a nice chandelier. I like light in a room, I hate dark spaces, a room should have light, may it be through lighting or natural light coming from the sun etc.

Dont mind the stained carpet, though they made it hard for me to choose complementary bedding because of the colour.

I am a big fan of interior designing. Small or big budgets. smiley smiley

I always find time to assist family and friends where I can, and I always buy magazines, read books etc to add to my knowledge and ever increasing appetite of home decor.

Any one in the House who is a fan lets start a section.

@ MODS IS IT POSSIBLE TO CREATE A SECTION FOR INTERIOR DECOR WHERE WE CAN SHARE AND ADVICE. I CANT FIND A SUITABLE SECTION THAT FITS THE TOPIC.

ANYWAYS

I have been meaning to change my bedroom for sometime, thought budget has been my concern. I need to add a little bit of pizzaz to this room. Though I change my bedding very often but I always find it to be still the same.

Any suggestions on what I can do, especially with little budget and little space smiley smiley smiley.

What pieces can I add to the room to make it look and feel like my nest, where I plan think etc.

Pics attached, still trying to upload

Bitter, Not at all.

Bitter about you or towards youhuh No ways huh huh huh

I did not judge anyone. All of the so called " BEAUTIFUL AIRHEADS " came forward complaining about how burdened they are and wanting to engage through the thread. That's not judgement sweety.

They gave us insight bout themselves ( which is self distorted ), so I know they are " airheads"

This topic is just so lame.
People who discuss and focus on nothing either than beauty this and beauty that, are people with a very low self esteem, low self worth and low self confidence. Its also people who cannot seem to find anything outstanding about themselves, either than their faces. They then look for validation from people around them by raising such topics to boost their ego, because they lack talents and brains that other people have.

One can never finish counting and comparing beautiful people on this planet, and besides there is always a much prettier person than the last one you saw.

So all of you who feel that you are pretty and therefore you have a burden, please take several seats.

OP, are you the prettiest person on earth for you to be so occupied with such lame and disabled ideashuhhuhhuhhuh??

Abegi, I have seen much prettier people, so please spare us. If you find yourself to be beautiful in your village, that does not amount to world beautyhuhhuhhuhhuh?

Romance › Re: ADVICE: How Do I Tell My Gay Lover I'm Done With Homosexuality. by chineloSA(f): 11:31pm On Oct 02, 2013
undecided undecided undecided undecided

What I know is that you can never leave your lifestyle for good. Unless you are willing to be open an honest with your future hetero partner.

If you cannot divulge your previous homo lifestyle to any of your hetero future partners, kiss your hetero future relationship goodbye. Homos always use that to blackmail each other which can be detrimental to your future relationship if you were not upfront. They always threaten to tell your wife or gf to get you back.

So leave you relationship, with an open mind that you may be rejected in future in your hetero endevours because of your homo past if you decide to divulge.
Very few ladies can deal with that. We can deal with cheating, past hetero encounters, promiscuity etc, but homo past!!!!!huhhuh Very unlikey. We just cannot trust other man around you because of your past preferences. Then we apply " Past behaviour predicts future behavior" rule.

Otherwise, just continue, its a ring thats not easy to escape unless you change identity and locations.

Hope I am making sense. sad sad sad

All the best.
