Damn the tribalism already and lets face facts. Whether the culprit is Yoruba or Igbo, he is a Nigerian. And whether or not we admit it, his action is going to further affect every Nigerian youth's ambitions of going to the United States for any purpose, especially for studies. And while you raise a tirade over which tribe is terroristic and which one is not, remember, no one has the monopoly of violence, evil, etc. So stop this whole nonsense of turning the forum into a Hate Hall of Fame!!! |
Ok. Ca suffit déja. Il ne faut pas faire le bagarre avec le réligion. |
Until trouble start before una go remember say na Naija we dey. Esss, if you had said that about the Muslims that you said about Christians, they would have issued a Fatwa on your head by now. Stop taking our legerliness for granted. And please, don't diss my religion, I am not finding it one bit funny. I never do that to others because I respect them, even if the religion in question is ATR. So respect me for that matter. Thanks. |
Republic of Benin (created by the Biafran government from Mid-West Nigeria during the war): Warri. |
This is a true story, happened in Yaounde, Cameroon. In some neighborhood inhabited by Nigerians, the Cameroonian police is fond of harrassing Nigerians. So on this particular evening, while they are on the road 'checking' every Nigerian's car who drove by, a man crosses the road bearing a coffin on his head. One policeman intercepted him and asked, "Why are you carrying a coffin on top of your head?" The man replied, "Before I died, I asked my children to bury me on the other side of this road, but they buried me on this side. So I am re-locating." Come see the panic on the policemen's faces. They threw away all they were holding and ran away from the scene. |
ok i will |
In what way is christianity destroying Africa? Do not judge the whole based on the actions of a tiny minority. I reacted with shock to Covenant University's decision but I am a christian, too. Watch your tongue. Or you have chosen to forget the destruction meted out on this country as well as other African states by Islamic militants! Have we then concluded that Islam is destroying Africa and the world at large? Esss, stop making sweeping statements, and stop inciting angst. |
No matter how anyone would try to color it, the guy is practising child abuse. And the babe, she is aborting her future. |
Now we know what Satan is. He is an Arab from whichever nation, and he is one of those who pray like ram crying, hitting their heads on the ground and facing the direction of sunrise. |
I am beginning to see that it doesn't matter anymore how good your job pays. It takes discipline and patience to be counted among those who are wealthy. So, if you want, play good offense without playing good defense, you will remain poorer than a street rat. |
I like the guy sha. He is moving forward despite the work of detractors to destroy what he stands for, and discredit him. Emeka Enyiocha, keep up. |
Sad development. Covenant University! Why? That's outrageous, incredulous, and ridiculous. |
I am currently in Mombasa, Kenya, on a visit. But I have an aptitude test I am coming back for, but heard some rumors that the NUC has ordered no payment be made for the test in Nigerian Universities. Is it true? Please someone tell me. |
If you are one of those who believe in love at first sight, answer this question. How come those people who are not especially beautiful/handsome never testify of love at first sight? It's usually men and women who make hits with their looks. This should tell you one thing - that thing which we tout as 'love at first sight' is actually physical attraction accompanied by libidinal tendencies. |
Please leave our Presido alone. Keloids is no disease but a special kind of scar resulting from burns and stabs. I've got one on my mid-riff, got from a stab. So, stop treating this case as if it's leprosy. After all, many of you talking might not be able to pull your shirts to even your own siblings as a result of the onslaught of eczema on your backs. So, just leave matter. |
It's like some property that has got resources ready to be explored. But if you do not know how to get about it, you might never get a taste of the goodies. It takes some great amount of patience and real good energy drilling before you hit oilwell. |
For real, JAMB results have been released. I checked mine from second week of June. I scored 270. |
worldman is the next lower thing i have seen after stupidity itself. if you talk like that about my presido again, you might never amount to anything yourself. punk, illiterate who can not even piece some sentences together correctly. you criticize an educated man, yet you show yourself to be rabble. if Y'dua is to be a mechanic, you should be toilet bucket. nonsense. kappish! |
why not compare me with ramsey noah, or rmd with segun arinze |
depends on what mood and occasion, and reason for the meeting. might as well delete one who was my N.M.E. |
don't look down on anyone because of age. afterall, if snazzydawn were 35, the same "small boy" would be 30. and if he proposed, that is if she's single, she'd jump and say yes. |
Satan na yoruba. |
Honestly, I do not understand President Umaru anymore. I thought his advent meant a clean break from the ugly Nigerian past. But with this, it is obvious the man is dining and planning to dine more with the very people who were callous enough to call the shots on his own brother, Shehu's death. All we can do is wait and see, and if need be, take to militancy if the Abacha Cabal is re-empowered. |
If politics is a professional career, then it is the most highly paid one in Nigeria. But on a serious note, the guys in the computer world are raking in millions, closely followed by those in the legal profession. |
why did you graduate at all? |
Madagascar - Antananarivo |
Not much to say. On my first date, I would take her to bed. There is no need beating about the bush. The sooner we get to it, the better for us. |
I wonder what informs TTChopper. In my point of view, he is wrong. Back here in Uyo where I live, it is no big deal. |
Interesting! But my Mom's brain is not like that. Maybe the author's Mother is this way. |
