You no lie that guy sabi work. Moting wey him level na Stoke City's of this world you go just hear say he join Bayern Munich or PSG. I won't be surprised if next season Pep signs him as back up for Haalaad ![]() mostob: |
Well results speak for themselves. Since Sunday Igboho's exile SW has enjoyed relative peace. It goes beyond condemnation but controlling the narrative. If after condemnation sit-at-homes are still being observed then what is the point? How can criminals openly defy constituted government every monday and every will just be watching? Anyway I have said my own. izzou: |
So just because it's one link doesn't make it half-truth? ok I hear you. When Sunday Igboho was almost arrested by the DSS before he fled have you seen any Yoruba politician complain about it or even protest? Heck even Seyi Makinde that is opposition just unlooked the matter once Sunday ran away to Benin. To answer your question directly yes the Ooni of Ife cautioned Igboho. https://dailypost.ng/2021/10/26/i-warned-sunday-igboho-after-meeting-buhari-but-he-didnt-listen-ooni-of-ife/ izzou: |
Uzodinma after one of those attacks said it wasn't IPOB but 'politicians from outside the state' Soludo called IPOB members 'freedom fighters' even went to visit Nnamdi Kanu in DSS detention. What did all this pandering earn him? more violence and sit-at-home. Boko Haram started out as a local insurgency in Borno state but failure to condemn them by local Borno elders and politicians allowed it to fester and become the monster it is today. Please don't spew half truth 'unknown gunmen' have also attacked and killed non southeasterners. https://dailytrust.com/ipob-kills-woman-4-kids-6-other-northerners-in-anambra If politicians don't come out to denounce them completely at least the violent ones they could cause a tribal war the consequence of which we can't handle. Look at the Sunday Igboho situation Yoruba elders were careful not to allow him control the narrative because his tactics would ultimately cause more harm and death. Responsible leaders in the SE should be allowed to control the narrative and not allow the violent insurgents to whip up sentiments that will ultimately do the SE no good. izzou: |
Ultimately PMB deserves to be blamed for not being decisive in dealing with the 'unkown gunmen threat' however you can't ignore the fact that for some reason many Igbo politicians are unwilling to denounce the terrorists but use flowery or mild words to describe them. From Uzodinma to Soludo to Ezekwesieli to Peter Obi they always dance round the issue. When Army now deploys accusations of attempted genocide ring the air. Now the IPOB scourge has become a full blown monster. If FG should go hard bombing and attacking IPOB hideouts with consequent collateral damage everyone will be up in arms that 'fulani' want to destroy the SE. Political leaders in the SE can seriously help the FG by openly denouncing the violent insurgents in their midst and declare illegal this monday sit at home nonsense. So that the few trouble makers in their midst can be dealt with leaving only genuine agitators to lawfully continue to fight their cause. However if SE politicians continue to play the ostrich people rightly or wrongfully will come to the conclusion that they are tacitly supporting IPOB. Remember how Boko Haram started elders and some politicians were denouncing GEJ for using full force against them shouting 'genocide, human rights abuse' thinking by blackmailing GEJ with such accusations they were making him look bad but who are the people that have ultimately borne the consequences now? Same way don't think by making PMB look bad by with IPOB things will be good for the SE in the long run. izzou: |
Still can't understand why the opposition especially Obi's supporters are still giving BAT free publicity. Today already Hundeyin is writing about him. Yesterday some posters where bellyaching about how he walks. You guys should focus you want to be keeping your candidate top of mind as much as possible. Take a cue from Kenneth Okonkwo how many times did you hear him mention Atiku or Tinubu? I don talk my own. |
Yep I watched the full interview he spoke very well. Even though he used style to insert half truths hear and there his overall presentation was very convincing. LP should use him more. donstan18: |
I have a small advice for the Obi movement. I presume your camp is made up of very smart, urbane and modern individuals. Why can't the brilliant experts amongst you come up with alternative ideas, plans and manifestos for free and give to your candidate which he will use in his interviews and debates? This will help to make him look like someone offering concrete solutions to Nigeria's problem. The Obidient movements projects itself as young and intelligent, well this is where you can put your money where your mouth is. Choose geniuses amongst yourselves to volunteer and provide concrete long term and short term solutions. This in my opinion will stand you out for your candidate rather than engaging in online fights that will not translate to any real votes, but only strengthen the resolve of your opponents. |

Chairman no be vex when other vehicles are passing on the bridge refuse to use it until 2024 abi? shikena ![]() izzou: |
Please do and when you get to the other side tell everyone that you were not able to use the bridge because 'you're waiting for the project to be completed in 2024' ![]() izzou: |
Still using project to cover your weak argument. Bridge is complete. Commuters will use it accessing link roads pending completion of the main access roads but know you're bothered about 2024 when bridge is ready in 2022 It's ok bro do you lol “The second phase of the project has yet to commence, but the government has deemed it fit that upon completion of the first phase, it will be open to traffic. “At the Onitsha end, there is an interchange at Oba, where you can access the bridge, and on the Asaba end, there is a link road we are constructing to enable travellers to access the bridge from the Benin-Onitsha road.” izzou: |
Thank God you admit the bold even though the guy you quoted mischievously said the BRIDGE won't be completed until 2024. I quoted excepts where the federal controller said the bridge will be ready by december for commuters to start using it accessing other link roads pending the completion of the second phase, you've shifted goal post now to 'finished project' lol. izzou: |
Go and look at the post you quoted to tag me. The guy said Second Niger BRIDGE won't be ready until 2024 is that what the link said? The link I showed you indicated commuters will be able to use the bridge and access other link roads. “The bridge project is 95 per cent complete, and it is expected to be delivered by the end of December 2022, but there is a second phase, which is a 3.3-kilometre road approach on the Delta side and a 7-kilometre approach road on the Anambra side that is yet to commence. “The second phase of the project has yet to commence, but the government has deemed it fit that upon completion of the first phase, it will be open to traffic”, he said. He added that the bridge would be accessed from the interchange at Oba on the Onitsha-Owerri road, as a road was being constructed to connect traffic on the Asaba-Benin Expressway to it, pending the completion of the second phase. izzou: |
Completely uncalled for. Hope pressure will be mounted seriously on the police to catch and make an example of the culprits. We don't want this election to degenerate into attacks on party supporters for their political choices whether physical or verbal. BlueRayDick: |
Make una try and be calming down sometimes. The second link clearly said the whole project which include link roads will be fully completed by 2024 while the bridge will be completed and opened to traffic by December this year. https://punchng.com/second-niger-bridge-ready-in-december-says-fg/ https://dailypost.ng/2022/10/03/2nd-niger-bridge-project-to-be-fully-completed-in-2024-fg/ izzou: |
After dem don comot De Bruyne and Gundogan na him dey come dey flex ![]() But seriously speaking the league can't be effectively over by October? I mean who will stop City? Liverpool is out of it, Arsenal is trying but will most likely still drop, Chelsea still figuring out their best team before they can think of mounting a serious challenge, Tottenham not strong enough to challenge for the title, Man U still look some seasons of the pace. When we were warning EPL fanboys about Pep they doubled down on the fraud talk. Now the fraud warn turn EPL to carpenters league farm sef still better. andrewbaba44: |
Man City was scary before but with this weapon of mass destruction called Haaland in their ranks EPL might soon turn to one big ranch not even farm. Bros quick question how come Haaland has within a few games disgraced and destroyed 'elite' EPL defenders? ![]() komekn: |
He came on in the last few minutes of the game. Too little to judge BannedLarge: |
hmmm I like the praise he's getting but they should allow him progress before putting unnecessary pressure on him by comparing him to Pogba. fabyom: |
I can't control what you decide to believe. If you're hungry for Amala just go and buy if you like not my business. Theflint1: |
Yes we have Oduduwa groups who are separatist in nature, but I wasn't referring to them. The IPOB groups that abound do all Igbos align with their philosophy or even support them? So why are you vexing untop of IPOB members and trying to fuse them with other Igbos? Unless you want to play the ostrich you understand what I mean but have just decided to form 'offended' for whatever reason. Anyway it's your call. izzou: |
I didn't mention any tribe but you called an ethnic group and you saying I tribalized it? ![]() You obviously decided to look at my post and have assume I directed it at a tribe. Whether you like it or not a lot of fervent supporters separationist groups have gone silent lately and you're not in the least bit curious? Did I even say every single pro Biafra person is now supporting LP? or does every Igbo man support LP? Please you're smarter than this don't reduce this to a tribal brick-a-bat. All the candidates have supporters from all the tribes but the leading contenders will obviously have more from their base. Most Yorubas will vote BAT, most Igbo Obi while Atiku will get votes from the North it's natural. izzou: |
