They asked you people to stay at home so they can tackle the Covid 19 issue but some of you refused to. Some were busy throwing parties, some were busy doing fitness exercise on the express, others were busy showing off their cars on lekki expressway and causing traffic. Now, we have 305 Covid cases with Lagos accounting for about 60-70% of the cases. What it means is that so many have been infected and are yet to get tested. On the other hand, it means we would continue sitting down at home for as long as possible until the no of cases starts going down. No responsible government will ask people to come out and go to work with the Covid infection rates going up daily or else, everyone would get infected in less than a week. Effectively and in actual sense, our staying at home has been rendered useless by those who chose to do differently. Why are we at this point? Simply because some of us chose to show the world that we don't have sense. The days ahead would be tough and we'd have to choose between dying of Covid or dying of hunger.

Please, it's not too late to return from stupidity and turn away from foolishness. Even if you have sworn with your life not to have sense, please have mercy on us. Stay the fuu.ck at home. Stay at home and help us not spread the virus.

Why won't he be in love, after eating her free food. 3/2 of men's problem will be solve if they mind how they eat from women
Lol. I remember how I was always dodging food prepared by females when I was writing a professional course one time like that. It always felt like they were about to poison me and I was rejecting food right, left and center. One of them came from home one day and brought big cat fish for me(i did not ask for it o). Before I knew anything, babe has gone to use the thing to cook pepper soup for me and brought it to me. I stylishly collected and kept it somewhere. In the night when everybody had gone to bed, I went to pour out in the gutter. After escaping all those ones, I now went to follow my bestie to take a bet on who will get a particular girl that just came around. In the process of doing fast guy and every, babe fell in love with me and started cooking and I started eating. This na babe wey done do runs tire and had weird family happenings. To cut a long story short, one smallie wey I de take care of as younger brother wey I meet for the same place told me something one day. He said bros, you never notice say since you begin date this girl, you always de dey broke. Me sef been done reason the matter initially but I couldn't say it out. When I discussed it with a friend that was squatting with me and was joining me to eat her food, dude said I should forget about it, nothing will happen. Eventually, na so I see say I done de derail, things started going left and right. I had to bail out and moved away from the place. Several years later, I ran into her somewhere and it felt like I should disappear. Babe asked for my digits and I gave her an old line I wasn't using regularly. I got home and blocked her on whatsapp and removed the SIM from my phone so she could not reach me by calls, text or chats...lol. I can laugh about it now but it wasn't funny back then.

I didn't even see the age...lol. And when I said kneel down, I didn't mean that literally. I was just trying to point out to him how humble he should get so the girl thinks he's actually working for the new oga so he can see if she would stay by him or extend this her nice gesture to the new boss.

Marriage is about making a life time decision and no matter how smart you are, you can never know everything about a woman until she starts living with you fully. But you can do your bit to try and know what's she's about before you say I do. I'd rather be with a person who is blunt and tells me "I'd only date and marry you if you have money", than marry someone who is forming good girl and innocent but might low key be a gold digger. We see certain things that we don't talk about on Nairaland for privacy sake.

Oga please don't try this, it's silly.... My advice is just stop eating her food, involve God into it and keep watching her from a distance, what I mean is try to secretly know everything about her first and see if you are ok with.... Women can be very deceptive am not saying she's... Remember your age is not the issue here... Marriage is for better for once.. your marriage decision determines how your remaining days on Earth would be.... as I said stop eating her food first...
We've seen some of these kind of stories before and we know how it ended. It's no big deal dating or marrying someone who works for you but the question is knowing how they perceive you. Would they still have same feeling and respect for you if you are not the owner of what they think you own? That should enable you know how to plan your life. Take for example, would the lady in question start warming up to the new boss thinking he owns the business? If yes, then she never loved the guy in the first place but loved what he has. He can decide to go on with her knowing that, or call it quits.

I live in the west, I'm single and in my late thirties, I work independently I have a store/cybercafe/gamehouse where I sell electronics like home sound system, games, pads, phone accessories, mobile phones etc and I also have a cyber cafe and a game house in the same building.

I have about 6 workers that run the place with me cos I can't be everywhere at all time and the shop is a little big. Among my workers is a very beautiful 22 year old undergraduate that works for me when she gets off school and during holidays. I like all my workers and I treat them right but I'm not really a guy that gets personal with people so they know I have boundaries, but this girl is exceptional. She takes her work diligently makes even more sales than me in the shop most of the time cos she is good with people.

This girl is very attractive and she dresses nice too. She doesn't wear revealing clothes. She's modest, all calm. I used to buy food from restaurants to eat in the shop before because I don't really like cooking but she told me I don't need to do that, she can make my food and bring it over to the shop for me. Like she will bring me food in the morning before school and afternoon and she refused to collect a dime from me.

People are starting to feel a certain vibe among us cos she smiles whenever she looks at me and even my workers do call her oga's wife jokingly.

In truth I like the girl but I don't know if asking her out might cause a problem to my business.

Advise me please.
This is where it all starts from. You got to be very careful. She can make or mar you. Before falling in love with your staff, do a due diligence check on her properly. You can arrange with someone she doesn't know to come and act like your boss and be giving you instructions and treating you like a boy boy. He can even insult you and ask you to kneel down for one offence or the other. Basically just let him reduce you to the level of the other staffs and then, you'd confess that you are not the owner of the business and that it belongs to this your boss. Do it and find out how she reacts to you. Even if it takes six months of playing the game, do it and observe her behavior. The rest is left for you to decide after you have made your discovery.

This issue is something we all as citizens should be encouraging both Federal govt and rivers state govt to resolve amicably, and not typing to support one arm of govt or the other. Women are very good manipilators especially when a child is involved. It's never very easy to deal with them especially when you are the very nice type. Most of the time, they'd be using your head but you would be feeling you are in love until the day you would eventually have sense. This doesn't mean women are bad o. Only God knows why he gave them that skill. Honestly, your late gf was just for the highest bidder and people like that who can only love when money is involved, are not for struggling guys. That's a lesson you should learn going forward. Wish you well in your endeavors. By the way, how much would it cost to mount CCTV with 8 cameras round a building?

Stop blaming Nigerians. Blame yourself first. See, let's all stop being selfish. Put yourself in the position of the very wealthy ones who have children abroad, would you rather those children stay there and die? See, let's stop being the selfish masses and put ourselves in their position too. After all, is that not our aspiration? Being part of the creme de la creme? So, would we allow our children to die there simply because we want others NOT to die? We want those in position of authority to consider us yet do we consider them?
Moreover, What's your contribution towards the containment of the disease? Stay at home, nba? You'd rather wait for some law enforcement agents all in the name of you-can't-go-hungry?
You wouldn't hesitate to spike the prices of foodstuff cos this is an opportunity to shine.
You don't care what's happening to others so far Corona doesn't come near you.
And the same you would blame the government for not closing the border early. So the government should sacrifice their children, human lives, when you cannot sacrifice your stomach?
And before you start castigating me as one mouthpiece of any politician, let me kindly state that I'm just like you. Your sister.
And please don't quote me unless you wouldn't do the same if you are in the government's position.
How you manage to pull out so much crap from brain and confidently type it here, baffles me so much. You're talking about wealthy ones living outside the country and their children; do you have an idea how many siblings, cousins, uncles, aunts, etc I have outside the country scattered across US, UK, Canada and France? Some of them even work in the health sector where they are exposed to the risk of contacting the virus so what exactly are you talking about? Nigeria has a very poor healthcare system and there's no one who doesn't know this so why should we allow those with the virus come in? Didn't we eventually shut the airports and prevented others who wanted to come in from coming in? Going by your analogy, we should never have closed the airport so others who don't want to die can be allowed to come in. You asked what is my contribution to the containment of the disease and if I was asked to stay at home, I'd refuse until law enforcement agents do what exactly? You think I belong in the same category with you abi? Sorry to disappoint you but I'm not part of the goats that would wait for soldiers to flog them before obeying laws. To be honest, you wrote a truck load of gibberish up there.

Do you think we have the necessary equipment? Almost all hospitals in Nigeria lack the basic things needs medically to combat this virus. What you should be saying is that government should check all flights manifest, locate and repatriate all foreigners out Nigeria back to their country who came into the country since last year Jan. My brother nor blame the ignorance of those health workers, blame our stupid government for putting us in this mess.
Abeg, let's not excuse stupid behaviors. No one is saying they should or must attend to them and treat them. Rather than running away and shouting this is Corona virus, they should have just redirected them to the appropriate place for attention, simple.
