damn. this is the multiplier effect of the silly mistake of allowing buhari to become president in 2015. court orders are disobeyed front, right and center. insecurity, tyranny, dictatorship, complete disrespect to the judiciary and legislative, etc and all sort of nonsense going on. now, nigeria looks like a very disorganized banana republic where absolutely nothing works.

Fashion › Re: 19 Quality Dress Code For Men by chronique(m): 2:01pm On Aug 01, 2018
the only thing i wear at home is boxers. sometimes i just walk around the house with nothing on. i cant remember the last time i wore a wristwatch cos i am too lazy to dress "properly". i dress casually 90% of the time. funny enough, when i was much younger,i used to invest in designer wristwatches like bvlgari, brietling, louis vuitton, chopard, tag, omega, tissot and the likes. used to have as much as 8 watches or more sef. but today,i dont pay attention to it anymore. i've got just one fossil wristwatch that i havent worn in well over 4 years. i nor even know if the thing still dey work sef...lol. all these dress rules are too tedious joor. only if i have one very important biz meeting that i can go out of my way to adhere to these rules. i cant be dressing like this because of people i see everyday.

Ah Ah bros... Nepa bill, fueling generator, 60k

one month alone....
I won't say you are lieing just that I'm surprised
calculate 1500/night for 30 days + your engine oil, transportation to buying the fuel(i don't sleep in the filling station),change of plugs, etc. + 6k prepaid nepa bill on the average. that's close to 60k in a month.

God save us from dangerous women.

But I know that you're an irredeemable gentleman. You fit go lose guard marry am. Tueeh.
lol. i'm close to being a perfect gentleman but i'm not an idiot or a fool. truth is,life is too short to focus your time on irrelevant things. whatever experiences you get from such scenarios, should only guide you in making proper sense of judgement next time. don't go about trying to get vengeance and finally getting into trouble and wasting time trying to get out of the mess. you got a bright future in front of you;focus your time and energy in trying to bring that into reality... finally, understand that God sees both our good and bad deeds and he alone has the right to judge us.

Your gen will charge it na or you can go solar grin

Please consider it, quality is remembered long after price is forgotten. Power supply has dropped, I noticed that...but you can't continue spending money like that. As I read that part of your post, my chest start to pain me sef cheesy. N60,000? ?? On fuel?
most nigerians are burning money on petrol to provide electricity. i'm sure if they ask people to start posting their average fueling expenses on generators here, you'd be shocked at the figures you'd get. the dude who asked me if i was staying on banana island and earning 120k per month, got me laughing. at 120k per month,i certainly wont have any business with banana island. in short if anyone catches me there with such salary, they should flog foolishness out of my life and destiny.

sad story. me ehn,i dont want my kids to grow and start having red hair(suffering from malnutrition). i can still manage to run a family on my current income o but definitely not on what the op has stated. that one is hard. dont forget you'd still sort your parent(s) per month, plus the numerous people who would call you up for financial assistance, etc. lagos is expensive joor.
coleon:
Its like u took these words out of my mouth, even with a monthly income x15 that amount I still go broke after my savings sometimes. I always wonder how all these people do it but I guess we all have different aspirations in life and probably some of these folks don't stay in Lagos where that amount cannot pay annual house rents alone.
I am not in a rush to marry though I'm in my mid thirties, I believe its a life long investment so why the rush. My dad's story before after his death gave me insights about life, the man struggled and gave all to his kids and my sisters didn't appreciate him when he was alive only for them to show up after his death to scramble for properties.
I have vowed to live my life to the fullest and not settle for mediocrity all in the name of marriage.

I think you should consider investing in inverters.

Don't buy half engine AGAIN, just change the gen. That half engine doesn't appeal to me. We've done it before, worked for sometime, then it packed up.
where is the light to charge the inverters? those guys who do solar panels with inverters, usually quote very expensive prices. the cost of buying a new one of the size of my gen is well over 180k or so(according to what the technician told me he last time he came) and it depends on the brand. some are more expensive than the others. if only phcn could guarantee me 18-20 hrs of power supply a day and ask me to pay half of my cost of providing electricity for myself,as my bill per month. i would still take it as a fair deal.

You burn fuel on business not luxury because i was getting confused
that's fuel i use at night when i'm back from work. i can't afford to have my phones out without power and for some reasons,i need the security lights in the compound on at night... it's not fuel used during the day.

my brother if you want to know the reality of things just go councils, schools and some shop attendants and ask them how much they pay them then you will know that someone earning 60k is in luxury. my salary is less than 60k but I'm married with a kid and my daughter is attending a better school I have three cars and I have built my own house for the past three years. Life is all about planning, I pity those who are saying if you are earning 60k you shouldn't marry until you become a millionaire. Earning above that 60k you only be disturbing yourself to please people otherwise 60k is good pay, and besides those graduates moving up and down with files they should ask them how much is their starting target of salary?
did you achieve all of these in lagos?

60k on fuel alone and still go broke. Mehn na banana island u de stay. With that i guess you earn above 120k and its not enough for you. Well, your standard sha
i'm not staying in banana island. i'm staying somewhere on the mainland where power supply is bad and i rely more on generator for electricity. gen is a big gen and sort of consumes fuel. so whatever fuel i put in it,runs till the gen goes off midnight or they restore power.

shocked
yes o. i do an average of 1500/night for fuel alone. engine oil and other small small buy this and that and pay gen repairer isn't there. almost every month, they must come and repair something on it. cost of repair last month sef was over 30k. now i'm thinking of buying half engine again for the gen. prepaid units on a 3 phase meter on the average per month is around 6k. sometimes more than that when power supply is better. this is the cost of not living in a place where power supply is regular. i dont think i get up to 10 hrs supply of electricity daily.
Romance › Re: Ladies, Will You Marry A Guy Earning N60,000 Monthly Salary? by chronique(m): 11:18pm On Jul 31, 2018
i dont think it's a good idea to try that. my monthly earnings beats that almost xyz times and i still go broke and i'm single and i don't spend lavishly... that 60k alone is my cost of fueling my gen and paying nepa bill alone per month. fueling of car/transportation,feeding,telephone bills, etc, isn't part of it. so,how would i cope with raising a family on that budget? but then again, life is in phases and men are in sizes. there are still some people who can cope wiith that and the state where a person lives in,depends. but if i have to advice any young man who wants to live a quality life,i'd simply say: "dont try it".

Dudes, once you are having an affair with a lady and you notice she is two-timing, leave her alone and face your life. It's not worth all the stress. You will always meet other ladies and some of them would be a whole lot better and classy than what you thought was the ultimate... This is a fact of life. Don't die, trying to own a lady.
