I don't know why you feel excited. Ukraine has lost 100s of soldiers this morning in less than 12 hrs of fighting and most of the citizens are running away to neighboring countries. The call to defend the country is only being heeded by just a handful of people and you are celebrating capture of two soldiers from Russia. This war is totally not necessary. They should have stuck to the MINSK agreement. I just hate the fact that this had to resort into a full blown war. I had hoped that a diplomatic solution would be found but sadly, this is where we are. Poor Ukraine is being pummeled from different sides.

This war should have been avoided. Ukraine has lost over a 100 soldiers from one of their borders already. They also claim to have killed 50 Russian soldiers. All these in less than 12 hrs of fighting.

Look, anything America is involved in, I can't trust what they say. We've seen how they led the whole world to believing that Sadam and Ghadafi were demons that wanted to destroy the world only for us to find out we were fed so much lies. So anywhere that there is war and America is involved, I take anything they say with a pinch of salt. I can never trust them to be telling the truth.

Hmmm. They should give peace a chance. Ukraine should have just honored the MINSK agreement since and avoided all of these destruction. That agreement was violated several times and as a matter of fact, Ukraine doesn't want to stick to the agreement cos they think it was made under duress. At some point during the crisis last year, the president of Ukraine refused to meet with the leaders of the Doneskt and Luhangst territories, claiming he does not want to talk to terrorists. Ukraine is not ready to abide by that agreement.

National security supersedes anything else. If you know the history of the US and Russia relationship, you would understand better. If we have to go by morals and sentiments, we would say Russia is wrong but in the interest of Russia's security and national interest, they have every right to do what they are doing. Maybe you should ask your darling US, why they are fixated on building military bases round Russia. Maybe there's something they forgot in eastern Europe or that they misplaced that they are looking for. Morals and sentiments would take the back seat when national security of a country and world power at that, is acting. I've asked most of you that have replied me before to give me an answer as to why America wanted to go to war with Russia when Cuba(that shares a border with the US) wanted the Russians to set up a military base in Cuba.

When I say in 2022, I'm trying to imply that it's going to be very very complex to have all 15 former soviet countries as one country in this era. It would never happen. The problems would be too much.

Ghadafi wasn't overthrown because of evil he did to his people. Ghadafi was overthrown because of US interest. Libya had no debt(local and international) under Ghadafi, had the best economy in Africa and one of the best in the world, had huge foreign reserves which they were thinking of holding in other currencies outside the US dollar. This did not go down well with the US. Go and read up leaked emails of Hillary Clinton... After the fall of Ghadafi, human rights watch could not find evidence of all the so called atrocities Ghadafi committed against his people just like no evidence of weapon of mass destruction was found after the fall of Sadam.

Did you ever live in Libya when Gaddafi was alive. You read your stories from the western media. I had friends who lived in Libya when he was alive and the stories from their personal experience living there was totally different from what the msm fed us. I repeat to you that Libya was a very peaceful country under Ghadafi.

Only a naive person thinks it's possible for Putin to annex 14 other soviet states with 3 as NATO members, back into the former soviet union in 2022. No, they are not always at loggerheads with the west. The west always want to push their style on the rest of the world without realizing that it would not always yield positive result. Libya for instance was a thriving country with a better economy than most of the European countries. Ever since the US invaded and destroyed that country, it has become an example of a country people should not go to. Libya was so rich and organized that their footballers were earning about the same amount they would earn playing in top European leagues. This made their players not even think of playing outside their country. They had a better standard of living than most of the big European countries despite being ruled by a dictator. Today, that country is in ruins and is now a base for ISIS. Before Iraq was invaded, there was no ISIS anywhere. After the fall of Iraq, it became a base for terrorists. Mention one country where the US has gone in, carried out military exercises and the country remained same or got better after the US left. Mention just one.
