Should we give them reason to direct their cyber attack to Nigeria, then we are economicaly doomed, it would be 100% catastrophical like the MMM disaster only that this would be lossing your life savings in seconds .And unlike FBI that has a full department to combat such our, Cyber Secuirity Experts are just not enough

Career › Re: Does New Minimum Wage Affect All Salary Earners? by chukzyfcbb: 12:20pm On Apr 20, 2019 |
This debate about if % increase cuts across all levels was what Ngige used to floor Obiano in one of Anambra Gubernatorial election.
Obiano said at the debate that the % increase would only affect the level 1 guys but Ngig being a former governor came and cleared the air.
Ngige said minimum wage isn't just for Level 1 staffs that it will go across all the levels. He made Obiano look like a rookie in governance matters after his explanation. Chants of Onwa Onwa filled the room afterwards for his clear explanation on minimum wage
Ever since I have always learnt that minimum wage is not just for cleaners level alone, even those on 200k will experience an increase.
Except there is a clause that says those earning huge will not experience 66% like those on the lower cadre, I still stand with that debate Ngige had over Obiano.
The increase will be UNIFORM across all levels, unless otherwise stated in the LAW... |

Of course I know golden tulip but as a Hotel resort not as service apartments. I had no idea that golden tulip has converted its building to serviced apartments. Only place in Lagos I know rent for 2bdr can hit 14million is Banana Island. With service charge of $10,000 See below as proof for ya claims.

That's Strange. In awka you find self con average 100k+ Selfcon ooo, maybe Enugu is a tad different. Rather than think of Lagos migration, why not reason awka. |

I have lived in Festac all my life, and i can tell you for a fact NO DUPLEX will even cost that amount talk more of a 3bdr flat. In fact within that Amuwo axis, you will see plot of land that go for 14m/plot albeit swampy in nature. In fact lemme be more factual, I am 99% sure your boss 3bdr flat doesn't cost more than 3m/annum. |

unite4real: The Visionscape bond has the following defects
1. It is not a green Bond. Not backed by FGN 2. At 15.75%, it's not the next big thing 3. It was a private placement and not sold to the public so you will hardly find people like us here investing in it 4. Since it was a private bond, there is very little the SEC can do about it since the general public was not involved 5. It was only offered to qualified investors by private placement. The guys in the club nurse their problems 6. because it was private placement, the transaction was therefore not subject to the prior review and approval of the commission and does not fall within it's regulatory review 7. The contract of Visionscape was revoked by the Lagos assembly and given to PSP operators without sympathy from Lagosians. Remember this is one of the reasons Ambode fell out with political gladiators in Lagos State. 8. The bond did not get the backing of the Lagos assembly and was not gazetted into law to transcend leadership changes, so investors will wait for the next government of Lagos to help them out
NOTE
this cannot happen to a federal government bond, savings bonds or the SUKUK or Treasury bills. These have the backing and full faith of the federal government of Nigeria. These also transcend leadership changes at the top.
@manlikeegb I hope this answers your question too. well detailed bro |

To those who are always after the next big thing, the next big %, reports circulating the financial platform has it that Bond issued by the Visionscape guys has just defaulted in its coupon payment. What surprised me, was that this bond was rated A+ by Agusto and co. So it means all this credit rating agencies are just busy dashing marks without due diligence. 4bn put into this bond is temporarily hanging, this is just to warn those who are always after the next big thing, always chasing the next big rates. Despite the bond backed by Lagos state Govt Despite the awesome rating by a supposed credible rating agency, they still DEFAULTED!!! akinola98: As someone said LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!! is what u consider when u buy land for investment/sale
From my personal experience : I bought a plot of land in a dense area in 2017 for 21 million naira resold 14 months later for 43M while I bought in a less developed area ( same zone o ) for 1.5M and am still struggling to sell for 2M two years afterwards .... so land could give u a good ROI depending on where u invested moreover as an investor u should diversify your holdings ... it should not only be on fixed income investments like TB, MMF etc ....my 2cents u made 100% in 2yrs, wawu that's amazing. And you are right about omonile lawyer post here on NL (property moderator), he has dropped a lot of insights all for free that most lawyers would hoard. Anyone who wants to buy landed properties should take time to go though his threads. for example people rush C/O properties forgetting they will need to present tax receipts of both Seller and buyer when processing governors consent plus many more inisghts.... Before I was a novice, but with what I have read over the years from his thread, I can do a quite decent job at scrutinizing landed docs. all the same landed investment sha is one dicey something in lagos |

Ayodejioak: I have to acknowledge the fact that you do know your stuff. Initially, I was going to make sure this is not some copy-paste from school assignment... In the mean time, let's get this started!
Before we talk about the solution, lets anaylze these five key elements that define any SIEM software Cost - Managing and delpoying is super expensive. An average SOC analysts earns $110K PA while an average enterprise spends over $1M for maintenance, MSSPs, and customizations annually. Skillset - Analyst dedicated to pure alert triage (tier1 -2) are considered the least relevant in critical security events Complexity - SIEM administrators constantly suffer from alert fatigue, which is a source of error and less motivation within envirnment Noise - Having to respond to thousands of baseless false positives triggered from Splunk logs especially in the event of a critical alert. Real porblem - Most SMBs are ignorant of the importance of realtime threat detection & have tendencies to believe that a combo of a firewall, tech support and a nice AV solution is all they need
Generally speaking, cybersecurity is so interwoven that typical blue team still get their hands dirty with many Red team s/w (metasploitable, burp, Nmap, Nessus...) and vice versa for red teamers too. As a matter of fact you need to understand defense in-depth methodology before getting offensive. The good side for enthusiasts as well as script kiddies is how most of these tools are either open source or freeware.
I've had both hands-on as well as deploying, and administering a plethora of some of the best OEM firewalls in the industry today, some of them obviously suck! The migration towards AWS and cloud technology is also drastically changing legacy communication and connectivity. That said, Notable OEM amongst those I'll always recommend remains: Barracuda Nextgen FW, Panorama (Paloalto Networks),Juniper,Fortinet FortiGate series,Sophos, SonicWall and definitely Cisco ASA model FWs.
Bonus: If you made your way into this thread you'll definitely find https://cybermap.kaspersky.com/ interesting. It's a realtime simulation of cyber attacks across the world. It's so sad how the African continent is vulnerable to most attack, making Nigeria # 79 Most-attacked country out of 195 countries in the world. If you're familiar with what Shodan can do, you'll then realize the Kaspersky cybermap and Shodan are brothers birth from different mothers! Again, these information is entirely for educative purpose only. Any other question of the day? Oya hit me!! lool, nice one bro Security investment here is often an afterthought for most organization in the budget list. I know of shodan and I will look up the kapersky cybermap. I don't really want to go offensive, I prefer the defensive side of things ccoming from a Networking background but with the way the labour market is looking. Its either Full offensive or Devops to stay really at the top of the cyber security game. Good thing you mentioned some of the firewalls I am familiar with Its all good, if I have any more things to ask. I will hit this thread up |

I will personally advice all investors to follow the normal manual-procedure in investing in TB that is recordnized by CBN and insured by NDIC.. Go to the bank yourself and submit your written instructions yourself,if you want to invest in TB. Avoid all these FastTrack methods!!! Investing in TB should give one peace of mind...not being under tension for 364 days......omo na die be that ooo. it's what technology is doing to us these days. its making us lazy and making everything more dangerous. what would it cost Mr A/Mrs B to walk to the bank get the rates and pen down his/her request. Baba u have been manipulated.
In the open market, attacking ones class/ego is a very good manipulative technique.
Eg some girls will walk into my store and say they want to buy some materials but the price would put them off, the moment I say stuff like "Ah ahn Big girls like you with I phones, how can you be pricing materials like this. I even thought you people know classy materials when you see one". Most of them will put a weakback and will be cajoled into buying it. Its done a lot in the market.
The woman manipulated you to do her will and you are here typing epistles!
Some people are asking how people survive on 50-100naira Keke? I am sure these are all Office people yarns, if only they know how much take home at the close of work. it's more than the average salary of an entry level graduate earning 50-60k a month |
