A house was turned to a club in my close, we went against did all we could to resist it, but it in the end money talks bull shit walks.

Yes at first the noise was disturbing, but then bizness boom and another house was converted to a guest house. Then 100mtre away from the close, another house was converted to a Club cum lounge. more wahala.

Right now as I chat I am surrounded by 4clubs, 1brothel, 3hotels and like 4 joints/bars all within 200metre range.

Prostitutes lingers the whole area at night.....Its life, deal with it.

I was privileged to experience the life of a teacher during my NYSC year and one thing that struck me was; I use to tell myself that I had the power to mess up their brains at this level and it will stay F.cked up for a long time to come with wrong ideals & knowledge.

That's how powerful school is. The things/ideals you learn in those teenage years will play a very huge part of your adult life.

Its far beyond looking at the school fees. Money will always be tied to Value and that should be the sole aim of establishing a learning centre.

Money will come automatically when the owner provides value.

Go to Job sites, take screenshots of all the needed responsibilities for that entry level role you desire. Take out the similarities from all of them.

Start acquiring the skills one after the one.

You can whyne and cry from now till tomorrow, heaven will not help you until you help yourself.

You can manage the teaching job to hold body, but focus on the big prize and be learning the needed skills while at it.

Your story is the everyday story of a Graduate that has only Bsc.

How do you want to break into the labour market that's fierce with just a Bsc?

setting up a school should never be because of money.

Must everything always be money in business. how about setting up a school first to deliver quality education.

Guys i have a question, I want to offer scholarship to my brother's child, he just informed me the nursery school fees per semester is N300,000 i.e. N900,000 per year for a 3 year old child.

Question 1; i'm not current with the school fees for nursery pupils, do nursery school school children pay this much for good quality schools in the eastern part of Nigeria.

Question 2; Can i invest N10 million in Treasury bills on behalf of the child and they can use the interest payments to pay the child's school fees or rather go for bonds.

1) 300k is quite on the high side for a nursery pupil, however I feel your brother has a taste for quality education and so has his kids in there.

there are so many schools out there that can offer as much quality education for lesser fee.

2) Yes you can invest in, but your capital may be stagnant year in year out. as almost all the interest made will be put into the child's education at 10-11%.
Because of the dynamic rate change, Bonds may be best for you. lock in the cash for 5-6yrs at a far much higher rate for that child

I am moving to networking field now after over 3 years experience in programming. I planned on having these certifications in few months

CCNA and CCNP Routing and Switching

CCNA and CCNP Security

Juniper (JUNOS, JNCIA and JNCIP Security)

Fortinet (FNCSA and FNCSP Security).

Total of 14 certifications.

With these a friend told me i could get a good job in Dubai. After that i will move to CCIE InshaAllah.

I will keep you updated.

Just passed the Fortinet FNCSA and FNCSP.

Next is cisco. I will start writing fully after ramadan. 12 exams within 2 months. I love challenge and i am enjoying it,

its 3yrs now. how far have you gone with these.
