Why not? How big is Enugu compared to that map? Ngwa is half the size of Abia.
That who map is not even ngwa, If you'd pay attention and looked closely you would see Ngwa Region being outlined. It is really small. It can NEVERA!!!!! fit 20 NNewis. Not even in your dreams. cool

I'm concerned because you guys, collectively, have an inferiority complex. If what you people come online to do is representative of the Igbo psyche, then there's a problem. Seriously, no other tribe is like this on Nairaland.

Take the Igbo-bashing a lot of you were whining about few weeks ago, most of those guys most times do that stuff just for sport. There are very few real 'hate-mongers' here on Nairaland, but when you guys keep on and on like in this thread for example, someone like me will be tempted into goading you people cause you're so predictable & reactionary.

You need to grow, mostly. & the old men among you need to get a life.

How many Nigerian tribes do you people see going on and on like this on the forum, or elsewhere on the internet. But when they start bashing you people you'll start screaming wolf! You guys don't get tired.
If it doesnt concern u( like it doesnt now), no dey put ur mouth. If other tribes dont do it thats there business. And you guys dont get tired about worrying about the igbos so wats ur point?

This is closer to the real map:

http://books.google.com/books?id=SPFk3i7HdBgC&pg=PA26
The only difference with yours is that it doesnt include P.H. area at all.which is inaccurate because P.H. and a few of the surrounding areas indeed are igbo land
CultureRe: The True Extent Of Alaigbo (Igboland) by chyz(m): 4:35am On Aug 20, 2010
ezeagu:
The map is generous to the Igbo because it gives a lot of Kalabari land to them, eating up towns such as Abonnema, Degema and co. The truth is that Igboland south stops right underneath Port Harcourt. The other parts of the map are correct, maybe apart from the crossing of the boundary over River Benue. If there was ever an Igbo country and Ijaw country, the Igbo would have to ask permission and sort out a deal to use their Bonny River because Port Harcourt isn't directly connected to the Atlantic.
Provide the real map then or something that supports your claim.

PoliticsRe: Nuhu Ribadu Becomes Acn Presidential Flag Bearer. by chyz(m): 9:50pm On Aug 19, 2010
PapaBrowne:
I like Ribadu very well, but I can state categorically that the possibility of a Ribadu Victory on an AC ticket is very slim.

Lets do an analysis with the Assumption that the four main candidates are Jonathan, Ribadu, Babangida and Buhari.

Jonathan
Jonathan would sweep the South South, South East and a fairly sized portion of the Middle belt. He will also garner maybe half of the South West votes.
Jonathan also has the advantage of PDP's wide reach which covers the length and breadth of Nigeria. There is also more tha enough money from so many political investors to bankroll Jonathan.

Ribadu
Ribadu would share a good amount of votes in the South West with Jonathan. He will also take snippets from the middle belt. The south east and south south will give him very few votes. He will perform poorly in the core north maybe something like 20%. Most core northerners percieve Ribadu as a southern stooge and they still see him as OBJ's boy. Also, politicians who have stolen money from all parts of the country would not support Ribadu. Other factors that would work against Ribadu is spread and money. AC doesn't have offices outside the southwest except in Edo state. You cannot build structures overnight. Secondly, AC and its politicians don't have the money to expend and in Nigeria politics is money.

Babangida
Babangida, assuming he decides to run on another party, would gather a coupl of states in the Core North and middle belt. He will also get a few votes here and there accross the country. It surely wouldn't be enough for him to get the election. However, if Jonathan doesn't run and he gets the PDP ticket, he will get a chunk of the votes in the middle belt and a fair amount spread accross the country.

Buhari
Buhari will sweep the core north. He will get almost no votes in the south south and south east and very few votes in the south west. He isn't popular in the south and his part has zilch structures!

From all indications, in a free and fair election, Jonathan has the very best shot at winning. Sad thing is that if Ribadu contests against Jonathan and loses, he will lose political relevance completely in Nigeria and that would be very sad because he has so much to offer.
Also with Ribadu in the race, it can lead to something like a re-run as Jonathan might not easily cover the required percentage victory in at least 24 states.
Im not sure about the whole jonathan sweeping the SE thing. At this point he has nothing to show for himself and every move he's made so far have worked against the igbo. I honestly think that whoever wins the support of Ohanaeze will get the support of the SE, at least the majority. I say this because once they start campaigning for the person in SE states and hold public gatherings outside and express reason for supporting that person then that will be the end of the opposition. IBB may have a little bit of an edge over jonathan in the SE if he plays his cards right because at least he's done stuff in favor of the igbo although minor. The track records still count. GJ has done nothing but screw us out of the FG and public slowly up consistantly. Igbos dont like low-beat people because we are not low-beat people like GJ. The big issue between the 2 is trust. At this point GJ's trust by the igbos is dwindling.IBB's trust is not there 1 because hes a northerner and 2 its not believed that he will leave after 4 years.
RomanceRe: Get Married Early Otherwise You're An Old Woman! by chyz(m): 8:00pm On Aug 19, 2010
Well i believe its different reasons however when a female reaches around the 27-20 range it because a real problem. Lots of times men around that range will look for younger woman that are more juicy and ripe grin. Men appreciate with age and woman depreciate with age sad to say it but thats how we africans think. Lots of times females think too much of themselves and blow off so many guys that come there way until they start getting old thats where the problem start by that time noone wants to marry them. As far as school medical students are different at times it takes a while with school but they usually marry someone who is in the same field so they understand why they are not married at that age.

becomrich3:
the origin of the yorubas people is not controversial , yorubas are children of oduduwa. we know our fathers name. And Oduduwa father names was lamurudu.

The people you call western igbo are not igbo, their root is benin. They were just influence by igbos during slavery. The igbos use to attack the place and made them slave.
Ur wrong, igbos never enslaved them and u know that.how would the conqueror be influenced by the conquered? Use your brain how many times must i debate you on this.If what you said was true the western Igbos be speaking the same kind of Igbo that igbos speak in Nnewi or somewhere like that.

And as for your Oduduwa. The yorubas were there before oduduwa came so check your history.u are not children from oduduwa. He was in exile from Benin Kingdom.Get ur facts straight and learn about your own history before you job into thinking u know igbo history!

How does an AGF not have the power to prosecute an offender? He should just admit that he is not going to prosecute him because he is a muslim point blank. That why he said hes ready to be sacked. He doesnt see anything wrong with it because its permitted in islam which is a lie.The quran does not permit that no matter what some "hadith" says. The Hadith is put together and made by men not God. Well i blame jonathan for being stuck up northern azz, knowing that they always let their muslim brothers off.Look at how many boko haram people they let out so that they can strike after ramadan. If you going to be a judge of a secular country be fair and separate your religious beliefs from it or turn the position down.Buunch of useless people.GJ is a funny dude.
