Beaf:STFU. You are so fake, you opportunist! You are the devil, you fool! |
realchange:Did hausa or northerners kill them? |
Osama10:That's because it is funny. |
dem_people:I dey laugh. You're just like the ones that live up north.smh ![]() |
You all should let Beaf deceive you all with is SS/SE nonsense. He is only in it for himself and his sugar-daddy GEJ. |
Notice how everyone that doesnt agree with western spy, frosbel, is a muslim extremist. lol ![]() |
Northerners are not killing Igbos. I laugh at the people who are trying to make war, especially trying to use Igbos. |
Beaf:@Remo Omokri a.k.a. Beaf, you have NO SHAME, YOU BASTARD! |
@FROSBEL, you are neither Igbo nor Fulani. Get a new hobby you western propagandist. |

frosbel:And me, Bill Clinton, Momar Ghadffi, Abe Lincoln, and Olusegun Obasanjo were all classmates at the Oxford University. |
frosbel:Like I thought! Now every body I hope your eyes are now open! This guy is here to cause strife between nigerians. He is not Igbo! This is where he got his Igbo phrase from! http://store.instantimmersion.com/product/level-1-igbo http://wikitravel.org/en/Igbo_phrasebook |
manny4life:Well maybe you havent been on long enough. Hop off my sauce, kid. |
If Igbos are killed in the north, my heart goes out to them, but they've been warned by us to go back to Igboland for the time being. |
frosbel:Dude, you are not from Imo state of Nigeria, period. In fact if you are, lets speak in Igbo right here right now. This has nothing to do with Islam or muslim and christian or muslims against Igbos. I will not allow some foreigner to come on this site to insight my people to go into a war again, especially against people that are not targeting them, northerners. It is political and until i here about hausa or fulanis picking up daggers and machetes and going after igbos, i will continue to believe all of this nonsense is political. It involves both foreign and domestic politicians. Also, why is that sights coppyright 2012? Didnt the year just start? Is that some type of sight put together recently for propaganda? maybe i'm not getting something ![]() |
Frosbel you are a funny chap. ![]() |
Frosbel, I have noticed how you are trying to spread stories to pin Ndigbo against others for the sake of getting us to begin another war. You are not a nigerian and I suspect you are working for a foreign gov thats trying to disintegrate nigeria. As long as you continue this I will be encouraging my people against going the way you want by all means. |
mbatuku2:Not true at all. It is one of those words the "related groups" share. Igala,Idoma, as well as edos use the word or variants also. |
I don't think they should be allowed to come back if boko haram carries out their threat. It seems as though these people get together during meetings, maybe at prayer, and make unanimous plans. If they can all plan to leave at a particular time, then why have up until now have a protest in Anambra against the boko haram bombings in the north? So is it to tell us that their people will continue to kill Igbos and decrease our population, then come back to our land to slowly populate there? Mba, no! Tit for tat. |
Northerners flee Anambra over fear of reprisal On January 6, 2012 · In News | 2:50 am BY VINCENT UJUMADU AWKA—FOLLOWING the threat by the secterian group, Boko Haram, asking Christians in the Northern part of the country to leave the area within three days, an ultimatum that expired yesterday, many northerners residing in various parts of Anambra State have been deserting their places of business and fleeing to unknown places. Though there was no threat to their lives whatsoever in any part of the state, some of them said they did not want to take chances, in view of the warning by the Boko Haram sect. In Awka, most of the northerners who serve as security guards and foreign exchange traders were seen moving in groups to the border town of Amansea in Awka which has a large concentration of northerners. It was not clear yesterday if they intended to depart the state completely, but many house holds that engaged their services said they returned from New Year celebration only to discover that their guards had abandoned their duty posts. At a popular residential estate in Awka GRA, the northerners guarding the area approached their employers yesterday demanding that they be paid off because they were afraid to continue with the job. Not even the assurances of the residents could make them change their mind as they moved out soon after collecting their money. Suya spots in the town have also disappeared, while some of the popular yam, onion and tomato markets did not have commodities yesterday because the trailer drivers bringing them did not come. One of the guards, Mohammed, said: “It is not that we do not like to remain here. The reason we want to leave is due to the threat by Boko Haram which made our people to ask us to return immediately.” He, however, promised that they would come back when the situation of things normalized. The popular Bridge Head goat market in Onitsha has also been deserted as the northerners selling in the market could not be seen. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/01/northerners-flee-anambra-over-fear-of-reprisal/ |
Hausa. |
Ogbonaikenna:Thank you. |
y2kaustin:So they can be killed like dogs? They will have muchmore of an effect by messing with the government's money. This is what organizations such as NLC and TUC, etc. are doing. |
Ridiculous! I'm glad you are seeing. Why real bullets in situations like these are used by "law enforcement" in this nigeria beats my mind. I'm surprise the big Seaman,Jonathan, has not scrapped the law enforcement of this policy and introduced rubber bullets for situations like these, protests. The only reason the death toll is not high than it is is because the SE and Igbo-speaking places of the SS have not protested. Had we protested then that is when you will see how trigger-happyu and bloody thirsty the "law enforcement" really is. This is one of the reasons Igbos like me will continue to encourage our people to sit and just have a look see. |
N-Delta youths back Jonathan on subsidy removal On January 5, 2012 · In News | 1:50 am By FESTUS AHON UGHELLI—Niger Delta Youth Movement, NDYM, yesterday, threw its weight behind the removal of fuel subsidy by the Federal Government. It argued that it was the surest way of getting the resources needed to create millions of jobs for the youths and provide the wherewithal to build a solid economic foundation for the future. NDYM in a statement after its National Executive Council, NEC, meeting in Ughelli, Delta State, called on “youths in all the geo-political regions in Nigeria to shun any invitation or call to protest against this well intentioned measure geared towards the survival of the masses.” The communiqué by its National President and Secretary, Mr Godspower Odenema, said “the entire youths of the Niger Delta are actively ready and prepared to support Mr. President’s pragmatic measures aimed at correcting and adequately addressing the deficiencies of the past and consolidate on the progresses the nation has made since 1999. “As strict adherents to ‘no pain, no gain’ philosophy of life, we are certainly sure that the removal of subsidy, as is being experienced now, will definitely inflict short-term pains and sufferings in the citizenry but this will ease off in the long-run to the overall benefit of Nigerians. And so we prefer a short-term pain with subsidy removal to a perpetual pain with non-removal of petroleum subsidy,” he added. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/01/n-delta-youths-back-jonathan-on-subsidy-removal/ |
ChinenyeN:Ya see?! ![]() In Mbaise, at least Ezinihitte. I dont know about the other parts in Mbaise. This is what the old elder people say, not often anymore though. |
Also, I noticed that people have almost completely stop saying Udushi for night. Instead, Abali has almost comletely taken over. |
ChinenyeN:This is what we commonly use today but I do think these are the originals. Odumchi's listing looks more in place. Let say: Nwoko/Nwoke- male child(baby) or Oko/Oke- male |
odumchi:Yes. This is perfect, as far as the separation goes. ![]() |
Reviving or retaining is the most important thing. Translate to Igbo/your dialect: Girl Boy Woman Man Female Male And please, lets not take to obvious words and mash them together. I chose this words because lots of time the same word is used for them all which means the originals are being slowly frustrated out. |

Delta tackles fuel subsidy removal with more buses, boats On January 4, 2012 · In News | 12:55 am Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, has announced that his administration has taken delivery of 100 buses and 130 speed boats (water buses) to mitigate the effect of the removal of fuel subsidy and make transportation cheap for Deltans. The governor, who disclosed this yesterday in Asaba while inspecting the buses, assured Deltans that the de-regulation in the oil sector would in the long run be better for Nigerians, recalling the communication industry deregulation and how Nigerians are better off today with the GSM telephone system. He said though the deregulation of the oil sector has some painful challenges, petroleum products would at the end be cheap. He said: “Let’s look at where we are coming from and where we are going and see the difference especially given our experience in the communication industry.” He expressed the hope that prices would eventually come down when more refineries were built. He promised that the State Government would work round the clock to cushion the effects of the deregulation and assured Deltans that transportation would be cheap in the state since fares are subsidized up to 50% in the state. Answering questions from reporters, Governor Uduaghan said that contactors handling projects for the state have no excuse not being on site after the festive period, adding that contractors were paid over N15billion last December. He said because of the encouragement given to the contractors, those who did not go back to site this week would be deemed to have abandoned their projects. “I am expecting contractors executing government projects to return to site. We paid them N15billion before Christmas and I believe they have no reason not to go back to site this week,” he said. He explained that the money paid was to accelerate work adding that since the weather was now conducive, contractors should on their part meet the targets set. On the Madalla Church bombing, he preached love, peace and religious tolerance and assured Nigerians that the Federal Government was on top of the security challenges facing the country. Dr Uduaghan said there was nothing that would change the destiny of the country explaining that the different ethnic groups that make up Nigeria were brought together by God for a purpose and so allayed fears of any threat to the nation’s unity. www.vanguardngr.com/2012/01/delta-tackles-fuel-subsidy-removal-with-more-buses-boats/ |
