I met a ghanaian who kept asking why do yorubas hate igbos so much, because her yoruba friend never let her rest with so much anti-igbo negative comments. She had thought meeting an igbo person will be to meet the devil itself!

Go!!!

I support the total independence of the yoruba race!

I am sure Oodua republic will succeed and be a land of paradise with all the education and skills or the yoruba race.
Oodua republic's infrastructural development level already will make long surviving independent African countries such as Ghana or Kenya look like banana republics.
But we know yoruba does not have the guts to go, so spare us the nonsense bragging.

PoliticsRe: Anambra Poll Women Protest: "We Were Paid N2000 Instead Of The N5000 Promised Us by cjrane: 5:24pm On Nov 21, 2013
noblezone: Anambra Women's After Governorship Election Protest: Women spokesperson opens up on their journey to state capital.

We were told that anyone individual willing to go Awka to protest will receive N5,000 cash and APC party uniform, but they paid us only N2,000.

Mrs Njideka Nwaigwe was the spokeswoman for the women who protested last Sunday in Awka, Anambra state capital, about the conduct of the election and Ngige's dismal performance in the election.

Mrs Nwaigwe narrated her story at Aroma junction late Sunday evening after they finished the Protest rally assignment Awka.
She recounted how she was getting ready to go to church when her neighbour called her that the bus has come to take them to Awka for protest rally.
She was told that each individual willing to go will receive N5,000 cash and APC party uniform. She hurriedly took off her church clothes and rushed to the venue and they were taken to Awka. Inside the bus, they were educated on what to do by one man who kept on talking all through the drive from Ezinifite to Aroma.

He kept on telling them to roll on the floor and shout and cry, to rain abuses on Jega and INEC and Peter Obi. He said that they will be watching for who performed the best as the person will get extra N2,000. "This was what brought us to Awka", she added.
"Now, we were paid N2,000 on reaching Awka instead of N5,000 and most of us did not have the vehicle to go back to our various towns."

In sane societies, this is enough to ban the candidate implicated from contesting for any public office in Nigeria.
But Nigeria is a failed state where nobody pays the consequence for their action. So they will soon pay N50,000 for those that can kill policemen or burn government house.

[size=15pt]INEC should as a matter of national urgency announce a date immediately for the supplementary elections.
Adequate security arrangements should also be put in place because some failed politician bent on marring the elections with violence will still import his thugs from Lagos and Osun states to unleash mayhem on the innocent people,so that he can blame it on Peter Obi or INEC.

INEC must invite all credible groups and even media houses to observe the supplementary elections to verify it is free and fair. The delay in concluding this exercise is dangerously generating tension and knowing the antecedents and capacity to cause mayhem of this violently dubious "senator" in the race, unnecessary loss of lives may soon follow this delay.

INEC must quickly conclude their constitutional duty, declare the result and let the Shylock shift his intrigues to the courts to contest the polls, than manipulating poor innocent people to lose their lives to help him mar the so far peaceful and well organized polls with violence.

Even d guy dat opened a thread about how they wia contacted and he rejectd was insulted by these APC e-touts for putting up a fake thread.

This shows how d south west manipulate and use d media for propaganda. Even liar muhamed and hell-rufai wia up in arm against d police for arresting election observers.

Bunch of criminals.
My brother,
In this country, the south west is a curse onto this Nigerian state. Their stock in trade is lies and deceit. They are disappointed with the Anambra elections because all their elaborate rigging plans was exposed by God. Now they are paying jobless youths to carry placards. Only God will save us from their wicked plans. But i am happy that Anambra people are not deceived at all by their wicked intrigues and blatant lies.

PoliticsAnambra Guber Polls Hitch Free Says Monitoring Group! by cjrane(op): 5:07am On Nov 18, 2013
THE Nigeria Civil Society Election Situation Room, an Abuja-based non-governmental group, has informed that the governorship election in Anambra State has progressed without any major hitch. The group, which monitored the Anambra election, noted that the people of Anambra State have so far conducted themselves in a peaceful manner.

“Reports received by the Nigeria Civil Society Election Situation Room from our network of observers throughout Anambra State indicate that security agents were deployed in sufficient numbers in most polling units, and that these officers and men have in the main, conducted themselves in a professional and commendable manner. This is in spite of reports that security officers deployed from outside Anambra State were not adequately provided with food and shelter,” an interim statement issued by the group read.

However, the Nigerian Civil Society Election Situation Room confirmed receiving reports that accreditation process did not commence on time in many polling units, particularly in Idemili North, Idemili South, and Ogbaru Local Government Areas, due to the perennial challenge of late arrival of election officials and materials.

“INEC has in response extended the accreditation and voting periods for the affected areas, but more needs to be done to protect the integrity of the election process.”

The group observed that election officials were not deployed in sufficient numbers to some polling units, making it difficult for the election officials posted to the units to effectively carry out their duties.

“We received reports that in a particular polling unit, election officials were recruited at the election venue and deployed without any form of training. We fear that this could pose challenges during the voting and collation processes.”

Though there were no reports of large-scale disenfranchisement of voters following the omission of their names in the voters register, the group’s network of observers noted that some voters could not find their names in their voters’ register in a number of polling units, while in some communities, the polling units were located far apart, making it difficult for some voters to reach their polling units.

“These challenges, in addition to the generally low voter turnout reported by observers, call for a concerted effort by INEC to ensure that registered voters are not disenfranchised and that voter apathy is addressed in future elections.”

It is the expectation of the group that INEC will carry out the process in a professional and transparent manner, and that the voters, party agents and security forces will continue to conduct themselves in peaceful manner.

“The Nigerian Civil Society Election Situation Room will issue a final statement on the Anambra State governorship election subsequently,” the interim statement reads.

INEC should please conclude the counting and declare the winner.

Nigerian politicians are sore losers, so expecting the loser to congratulate the winner is a pipe dream.
The people that voted know who they voted for. So INEC should declare the result and let whoever feels he lost unfairly go to court and prove his case. That is a typical Nigerian politician for you.
