I don't get you. What is the reason Northerners don't want Nigeria to break up? Please clarify your statement. The bolded can only come from elitists who think only Nigerians in their 'high class' count. I submit to you that there exists over 100 million ordinary Nigerians who do not have any problem with other ethnic groups like you internet folks. The people I run into, business partners, colleques, from multiple geopolitical zone cooperate with each other, intermarry, and love each other. This hatred displayed on NL is exibited, as stated by Okurounmu, by fringe groups and frustrated diaspora residents.
Exactly! Most of them like sahara reports stay in London and write trash to start problem in Nigeria. Then when they can't stand the heat, they start talking nonsense! Nigeria must stay UNITED at ALL costs! As for me i will fight for Nigeria. I hate war, but i will not hesitate to shoot anyone who wants Nigeria to break up in the chest. Mind you, I'm Igbo. So better think of fixing Nigeria and stop that your tribalism than day dreaming how to form your pipe dream, so called Oodua republic. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! |
PapaBrowne: Go and read the Kano state gov's threat to Stella oduah today. You hit the nail at the head my brother. This is a country where billions of naira is spent to build roads, bridges, railways, international airport and other infrastructure in one part of the country and its all "good" for the country, but if one naira is spent to improve infrastructure in an unfavored part of the country, they cry blue murder and the head of whoever authorized that must roll. For the international status of Enugu airport, They had fervently tried blaming the aviation minister for Agagu's crash, but that failed. All the hot air they are blowing about the bullet proof vehicles acquired by the NCAA for VIPs visiting Nigeria is just a smokescreen to attack the aviation minister. Even when she did not even sign the deal! OK, they should provide evidence where the aviation minister personally benefited monetarily from the procurement of the cars done by the NCAA, they won't! All they know is that she is guilty of something and must be lynched! Shameless very very tribalistic people! |
Nebeuwa: Keep on progressing my Igbo brothers and sisters. Enugu must be made great in order to represent the collective aspirations of the Ndigbo.I am particularly impressed that you ignored that Yoruba boy that has come here to look for trouble and mess up this thread. I am truly grateful that our people are learning their insidious ways of destruction of anything Igbo, and not inadvertently grating them their vicious desire. Thank you Nebeuwa for sticking to the issues and avoiding those troublesome sons of satan. |
comnsense: The idiots calling Ojukwu a coward for fleeing to the CIV are unwise. What good would he have been to his people dead as he no doubt would have been murdered? He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day and Ojukwu lived to fight for many more years and remain an inspiration to the Igbo people. There is a difference between bravery and bravado. We really don't care what yoruba say about Ojukwu. Igbo people were killed enmass in northern Nigeria and even yoruba were also killed in the north too. All yoruba could ask for was the repartriation of northern troops from their land. Ojukwu on the other hand protested the first killing and warned that it shouldn't happen again, but nonetheless as a true believer in Nigeria, asked Igbos to return to the north and embrace one nigeria. But the same thing happened again six months later and as a man of his words, Ojukwu rose up to the defence of his people. What did Awo do? accept to become a finance minister to a boy not even as old as his last son! It is like Gen. Yakubu Gowon or Obasanjo accepting to be finance minister for Femi Fani Kayode. So yorubas may deny it,but we all know Awolowo is shameless coward. Now his children are the ones looking for how to breakup Nigeria after we have used most of this country's wealth to develop Lagos, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!! Nigerian unity is non-negotiable now and forever! |
Yoruba plot to plant a puppet regime in Igboland to help them achieve their wicked agenda of enslaving Igbos WILL NOT WORK! If APC didn't have a preponderance of very wicked yoruba men who openly hate Ndigbo in it, i would say, give it a chance because it may be like NPN, which although was a mainly northern party, but did not harbor any wicked agenda to decimate Igbo people! NOT APC or AD or ACN or whatever they call it in order to deceive our people. Ngige should go and sit down! He always enjoys dining with the devil ! |
Bliss4Lyfe: That is so true.Is it not wonderful that the shameless tribalists said nothing while our airports were being run down and they really enjoyed Lagos and other Nigerian airports being a hell on earth? Did you see that one with a forged visa from Oluwole trying to grand stand for the immigration officers & BA staff? Being in the same country with monkies is a problem. But i'm convinced the best way is not to seek a breakup of Nigeria. We must point out the right way to the monkey to follow. |
sasifo: Igbo people again. They like celebrating attrocious phenomenom and illgotten wealth. Their race will never smell Aso Rock as President till eternity.Show us evidence that Stella Oduah put the money for the ministry in her account, and we shall come pack her things ourselves! Igbo President? Which Igbo man does not know Yoruba will always vote against them? Anyone stupidi enough to bank on yoruba votes deserve the disappointment they get. I can tell you that Igbo President will happen without yoruba vote. Besides, do you ever think a yoruba will ever rule Nigeria again? The only way a yoruba (OBJ) was ever there was because Abdulsalam Abubakar wanted to placate yoruba for Abiola, thus put two yorubas as presidential aspirants at the same time. Do you think such anomaly can ever ever ever happen again even in 1 million years time? |
Ikengawo: In every single sector they touch, it has been a blessing. That is why the animals want them out! They enjoy having lazy and redundant ministers such as Omobola Johnson and co. who have nothing to offer but apply heavy make up and braid new Bob marley hairstyle every two days. |
Nigeria should remain UNITED at all costs. The only thing is that i implore ALL Nigerians to learn from the yorubas how to vote only their own people and should never allow their resources to be spent in other lands under the guise of building a commercial or administrative or political capital. Nigeria is a land where a few have perfected the art of cheating others using bogus excuses and any attempt to make the country a little more equitable is furious resisted by the cheaters. |
blater500: i love chris ngige as a person, but his resent political activities has been worry-some.What is APC doing in a christian state? When they have made it clear that they hate Christians and the Igbos? Ngige is a criminal and a sell out. On Nov. 16th, they will be handed a resounding defeat in Jesus name Amen! |
I can't believe Gumi or whatever his name is said that! Didn't i see Namadi Sambo at the Hajj just a few weeks ago, did his going to Saudi Arabia to fulfill his religious rites offend Christians in Nigeria? I think Christians should drop this mantle of tolerance and become a little bit more militant in Nigeria. A lot is being taken for granted in Nigeria. |
noblezone: Jonathan Has assaulted The Sensibilities of Muslims by Visiting Jerusalem-Gumi FOLLOWERS OF RELIGION OF PISS! PLEASE, LET PISS REIGN IN NIGERIA ! |
strangest: Ngige will betray Tinubu tomorrow... It wont be his first time, go and ask his former associates(obasanjo's boys)It takes a thief to catch a thief. It won't be long Tinubu will be singing the same tune Obasanjo sang after Ngige dupe all of them. Including duping the master 419 master himself- Ubah |
Hehehehe.... But muslims don't assualt the sensibilities of Christians when they visit Mecca and Medina? |
Tintinix: Yet she messed up so badly at the end!It would have been better to contest under AD or APC abi? SMH! Incase you didn't know she contested a senatorial seat and won, which criminally Ngige stole with the courts on some weird technicalities and currently still occupy. |
Yoruba people are happy and celebrating now killing northerners in yorubaland as if their people don't live in the north. When Hausa carry out their reprisals now, yoruba will be the first to start crying to mama. |
ijaw citizen: Diezani Allison-Madueke is an Ijaw woman married to an Igbo.STOP USING THIS MONIKER "IJAW CITIZEN" WE KNOW YOU ARE YORUBA! ALL YOUR PREVIOUS POSTS PROVE IT! YOU ARE NOT FOOLING ANYONE! Be proud of your tribalistic lot ! |
Utchgirl: they are all igbos excluding Allison madueke...i think she is from Bayelsa.Back to d topic, i believe in women empowerment and jonathan's administration has done justice to thatAllison madueke is an Ijaw woman, married to an Igbo man. Just like Stella Oduah was formely married to an Urhobo man. In Igboland,we accept women from other tribes married to our sons as our own daughters, even if those women were Yoruba! My best man's mother is an Idoma woman, yet she has a chieftaincy title in my hometown! Chief Emaka Anyaoku's wife is yoruba from Osun state, but Igbos have embraced her as their own. We are not like the yoruba people that will mistreat the Igbo wife of their son who had stayed in the marriage for more than 30 years and they will still call her "IGBO" ! |
You forgot to add Arunma Otteh ! They are actually 4 Igbo ladies in Yorubamen's hit list simply for performing their job so magnificently! Why aren't they clamoring for the sacking of lazy, unproductive Ministers as Omobola Johnson, and Mrs. Olajumoke Akinjide ? Who has even heard of those names as Federal Ministers? Or is it because they are yoruba and thus their lackluster performance and looting in government should be condoned? But Igbo women in government are perpetually hounded by the shamelessly tribalistic Yoruba press and falsely accused of all sorts of crimes in their silly bid to get them fired. Yeye, shameless tribalists !
Despite being a proud Yoruba man..........blah blah blah...
Yoruba only see tribalism when other tribes unite to fight their hegemony and wicked tendencies. Yoruba are the most clannish and tribalist bigots in this world. Anyone who isn't yoruba isn't even fit to be called human. They will speak their language and curse you in it over nothing simply because you don't speak it. They tell their children someone can only be nice or trustworthy if they are yoruba, in other words every person in this world who isn't yoruba deserve their worst wickedness. When yoruba work with other tribes, their sole purpose in life is to get rid of anyone who isn't yoruba and have them replaced with yoruba people. I can give you many instances, but that will be a waste of time because as a yorubaman, you should know more than me the many instances where other Nigerians have been subjected to suffering, humiliation and pure undiluted wickedness simply for not being yoruba. Therefore, my brother if you are tired of tribalism in Nigeria which is a defence mechanism by other tribes to survive the yoruba onslaught of tribalism against them, start your campaign from the headquarters of tribalism and clannishness in the world, which is yoruba mindset. I bet you if yoruba people start viewing other Nigerians as equal partakers in this country, tribalism will cease to exist automatically. |
Despite being a proud Yoruba man..........blah blah blah...
Another Yoruba pretender |
ak47mann: def needed in this our unholy union..The seed Awolowo planted in 1957 is germinating fine and bearing fruits. https://www.nairaland.com/1443644/aviation-ministeri-filled-vacancies-ministries This is the only legacy Awolowo left Nigerians! I hope he is in the deepest and hottest part of hell! |
You wouldn't want us to get dirty, anyway i can't get that far. Anyi bu nwanne. Just cast your vote for Ngige and Anambra ga adi mma.
Kitikpa enweghi nwanne gba-gbu kwa gi na Ngige ! |
gregg2: 1) First, it was Allison Maduekwe . . . . . . . . . . . . . . they failedThe Yoruba will not see Fani Kayode that self confessed to filling all available positions with unqualified people, as long as they are yoruba. They cooked up all sorts of story against the aviation minister simply because she is Igbo. All their evil plans will fail again as usual. If Igbos were as petty and wicked as yorubas, they would have been investigating all the procurements made by the roundly incompetent yoruba ministers. But Igbos are in a superior class of their own and will not descend into the gutter with those yoruba bigots. Shameless, useless people. |
That is why it is so hard to bring professionalism into the critical NCAA. When Fani Kayode has filled all the engineering and highly technical positions with unqualified goons, how will the agency work? Shame on Fani Kayode and his tribal ilk ! |
Ngige should have joined labor party as everyone had openly advised him and labor party had severally wooed him. APC is a tough sell in Igboland. Let me see how Roachas will win re-election in Imo State under that party.APC contains the most extremist politicians and bigots especially open with their anti-Igbo agenda. The same group of people plotting the deportation of Igbos and appropriation of their properties in Lagos. The same people plotting the sacking of all Igbo speaking ministers over flimsy excuses and setting up congressional hearings in order to disgrace them, the same people that started Boko Haram with targeting Igbo businesses and churches in northern Nigeria, El -rufai had the guts to call Igbos flies!. All these tribal and Islamic bigots are now running APC, how does Ngige ever hope to explain to Igbos that these sworn enemies of Ndigbo will not use him to attack their flanks from within? Ngige even compounded his problem that he could not be trusted to be his own man by openly supporting Fashola's controversial deportation of his own Igbo people in the dead of the night. What a shame ! |
Nigerians in the US better shut up and mind their situation. As Senator Cruz rightly stated, Nigerians are notorious for email 419 scams. Go to Chicago or Houston Cruz's hometown and see wetin dey with 419 Nigerian scams everywhere. Nigerians have been banned from participating in US visa lottery, with Nigerians in the US making more noise, dept. of Homeland security will soon submit a report that they have become national security risk and many Nigerians in the process of regularizing themselves will suddenly find themselves coming out of a plane in Lagos. They better be wise. Obama is too big for Nigerians in the US to make a fight for. |
Cuche: Slimghost, pls tell your people not to buy Oh. Don't say you were not fore-warned.Is it not a committee that is mandated to allocate the plots or is it the Governor personally doing the allocation? Using your logic, anyone that bought a plot of land or built a house under one governor forfeits it when another takes office? Akara seller like you will be shouting "Don't buy o!, It is wayo wayo o ! But if i check now,you have already bought three plots and sending emails to your brothers in Germany to come and buy! But,for the rest of us it's politics to mislead us! We know your type! SMH!
Ngige may be your man. But i have said it before that he was a complete failure in healthcare delivery under his regime in spite of being a doctor. I know Anambra civil servants have worse things to say about Ngige, but from my perspective as a nurse at Onitsha General Hospital when Ngige was ruling Anambra, and he just let that hospital sink to its lowest pit of hell. Do you know i was once in the labour room and a woman died because she had sudden attack of asthma and there was not one vile of aminophylline injection in the whole hospital? The hospital pharmacy was empty!.. and when the woman's husband rushed with okada into town to buy the medication from a pharmacy,by the time he came back his wife had died. Do you know how many times we have had to send relatives of patients to run around all the blood banks in Onitsha to buy blood in order to save their relation or wife experiencing hemorrhage after child birth? Just because our hospital blood bank had packed up or there were no storage refrigerators.Do you know how many caesarian sections that was performed with a dying torchlight because we had to save the baby and there was no generator for the hospital? That is the level of decay at Onitsha General Hospital when Ngige was governor. All he did was to carry on tarring roads around Alor with hundreds of millions of naira as if there was no tomorrow and that was all to governance. Go to the same Onitsha General hospital today and see how Gov. Obi not only transformed the whole place by making the pharmacy fully stocked, two functional standby generators, the labs and blood banking systems are state of the art, and he had even attracted many consultant nephrologists to make the place a center of excellence in dialysis and kidney surgery. He did all these while building another state of the art hospital in Amaku, Awka, and still tarring roads and building schools, best state in Fadama III agricultural revolution, workers secretariate, attracting big companies to Anambra etc I personally think Ngige lacks the capacity to be a good administrator. It often shows when you hear him say he has one or two point agenda for development, which shows he truly believes his duty involves only the tarring of roads and that's it! You can support Ngige to high heavens, but the truth is that Obiano will be a better manager of human resources to achieve a more holistic development than Ngige can ever ponder.
@ bolded, I always hated that one point or two point agenda of lazy politicians. The sad part is that our people buy it! RIP to the dead. Sometimes, i think our people deserve the suffering they get for being s.tupid. There is no doubt that Mr. Peter Obi have uplifted the standard of living in Anambra. For me, the yoruba man will NEVER vote for APGA even for an obscure LGA in their state, why should our people be s.tupid enough to even listen for one second Yoruba propaganda to install their puppet in Igboland? The same Osun defenders and Sahara reporters with Femi Fani Kayode that have spewed unprintable venom on Igbos and justifying their murders around Nigeria and deportation from Lagos are the same exact people clamoring to install their puppet in Igboland? and our people still don't get it? |
joeluv: This peeps are fastPlease they shouldn't use that green tile anywhere on the outside of the building. The green tile is for toilets! They should use the gray tile for the outside of the building o! Sometimes, i worry when Nigerians choose colors! Only in haiti and Nigeria that I have seen an airport painted Red and Brown on the outside! Whatever happened to standard unique colors as Gray for such government buildings in other parts of the world. This secretariat should look exactly like the classy prototype in the billboard picture please! Don't paint it green, pink or some odd color. |
