debrief08: My Husbands neice actually. She has stayed with us for a while. My Husband says No, but she presented her case well to me, she promises to only use email and bb chat which I can monitor.
She is 16, had great Jamb and SSCE Results, works hard and is industrious, she makes snacks and drinks like sobo and kunu and sells in the neighborhood shop, she gives the guy a commission, she has 10k saved.
My husband feels she should put the money to better use, her parents feel I spoil her. I feel she has done enough to earn something she desires.
Right now am the only one who feels its a good idea. She is very responsible.
I trust her Judgement. We talk a lot and are very open with each other.

It was during holiday in secondary school. Me and my peeps went to school to read, cus we were preparing for our s.s.c.e. Then they gave me #150 to buy three meat-pie each. When i got to the store, it was a pretty girl that attended to me.. Can't belive she actually gave me the meat-pie of 20Naira. @op how much did they pay you to write all this cr@p., you seems not to get it. Those insults are the things that keeps Nairaland moving. It's not everytime that we just have to be serious about a specific thread(s). Same applies to guys.. They do it even more than the girls. I wonder why you didn't bother to advise all Nairalanders. Afterall, we're family. We insult or exchange words online dosen't makes us any mean to each other. Or probably when we get to meet personally. Please let the fun continue..

I'm not suprised at all. They even went as far as sending only women athletes to the just concluded olympics. It is a good thing if they wanna fight inequality or discrimination against women. But in a more reasonable manner.

When i was reading through the previous comments of other Nairalanders. I didn't know where to start from. My father is the most wonderful dad on earth. He's got that humility(humbleness), caring attitude and exceptional character. He cares so much about us(his children), he ever for once hesitated to bring out money whether he has it or not when it comes to matters concerning our education. He his one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I love my dad so much. Infact, He is indeed the BEST!

i do all my natural duties (shyting_) in the morning before i go to work. it is sufficient for 1 day and i can control even for 2-3 days (though i dont normally). i only use public toilets for urinating for which you dont really require anything. and for those who have some internal problems/disease(diarrhoea), you can keep a small tumbler @ workplace under the desk, which you can refill anytime with water from the washroom, in case it is that urgent.
