Kingsleo:
Scheduled for this Saturday too. Venue is First Academy Lagos,

I wrote my test at the Enugu center.
I wrote in Enugu as well, HCP shouldn't send everyone to Lagos please, that would be too much stress, especially for us in the South-South region, Enugu or Port Harcourt Assessment would be better for us in this region.

CrimeRe: How Nigeria Police Handles Small Thief Vs Big Thief (Photos) by cloud9usher: 2:09pm On Jun 12, 2017
That's the society we live in, how pathetic!

In Nigeria, we worship riches, not minding the means you used to got it. And that's why even security agents have some sought of respect for bigger thieves.

We still have a long way to go, because there are a lot of difference between us and the developed countries; In Dubai after it rains, water disappears in 5 mins. In Lagos after it rains, the road disappears in 5 mins! grin
CrimeRe: Brave Policeman’s Son Slumps & Dies At Burial; Bank, Police Abandon Wife, 7 Kids by cloud9usher: 3:57pm On Jun 11, 2017
So this brave man really died? He shouldn't have run out though, he shouldn't have.

To those who said the policeman who
ran might have run because he was out of ammo, he still had ammo because he returned fire after he ran out of the security post; the guy who ran after him was ducking and dodging to show the policeman fired back.

To me I feel the policeman who ran out panicked as he felt he was without back up, the other colleague he was there with was killed so he felt he should run out for safety being the only one remaining in the room. He didn't run out at first because his colleague was with him.

I still salute his bravery, rest in peace great man!
CrimeRe: The Brave Sergeant In The Zenith Bank Robbery Video Is Dead - Police by cloud9usher:
EgunMogaji:
While I doubt that the entire structure is reinforced (the pillars are like I said) but it will take someone familiar with the site to confirm.
Bullets didn't go through the building, most buildings within bank premises are built with reinforced concrete, banks are not government agencies who compromise standards.

You guys are missing something important here, that security post has a side window, you can see that as the dead robber who came firing at the post went first to the side of the security post to fire shots, those are the shots that killed the other police men in that post, the dead robber had the guts to walk into the post with confidence because he felt he had taken out everyone in that post through his shooting at them through the side window, why didn't he walk straight into the post at first but went to the side first to fire? He did that because there is a side window he used to fire shots through. He went in thinking he had killed everyone there and wanted to confirm, but the last policeman took him out.

To me I feel the policeman who ran out panicked as he felt he was without back up, the two other colleagues he was there with were killed so he felt he should run out for safety being the only one remaining in the room. He didn't run out at first because his colleagues were with him.

His running out might not have been the best option though, running out to open fire when he could have stayed back in the security post and keep the advantage of cover and also take the rounds of magazine from the other dead policemen to add to his for more firepower to confront the robbers should they want to confront him, I don't think that careful robber at the back of the car would have come out to confront him though, the driver was without a gun, and the other robber was holding the bag of money and wouldn't have come to confront him when he had the money in his hands. Since he had shot the robber who tried walking into the security post, he should have stayed in that post and taken out the car tires and keep shouting at the robber in the back of the car, and also take out the unarmed driver who came back strolling to the car. I suspect that driver to be "jazz" fortified though, the aura of confidence around him is unmistakeable and so cocky! To those who said the policeman who ran might have run because he was out of ammo, he still had ammo because he returned fire after he ran out of the security post; the guy who ran after him was ducking
to show the policeman fired back.

In the video he was shooting back after he ran, because you can see the robber at the back seat of the car who ran shooting after him dodging reply fired bullets from the policeman who ran. But its possible he was hit along the line and later died from the injuries or the police are intelligently protecting him which is a good step.
Whether he be dead or alive, I commend his bravery.

That guy who walked out of the security post immediately the car they were trailing came in, if he doesn't know anything about the whole thing; I tap into Gods grace upon his life, because he looks like a driver and not a policeman, he would have been easily killed in that security post like the other policemen who were killed there. God I pray that type of grace, favour and protection enveloped me and my loved ones, daily, in Jesus name - Amen!!! Please you all should claim this type of grace as well. Happy sunday everyone!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Just Only 5 Applicants Remain For The Offer - Apply Now – FOR DEGREE HOLDERS by cloud9usher: 10:13pm On Jun 10, 2017
No one should fall for this cheap scam!

These set of people clone a valid program running somewhere and place the official email of the program and add their own Gmail emails for people to send copies of their credentials.

Once you send your credentials to these thieves, they use your credentials for their fraudulent acts like cloning of credentials to sell for people who want fake credentials to use for employment purposes.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: The Life Of An Average Graduate In Nigeria by cloud9usher: 12:44pm On Jun 09, 2017
Undoubtedly, education is VERY key in life, the only issue why it seems like education doesn't necessarily guarantee being comfortable in Nigeria is the fact that our leaders have messed up this country, the government jobs are taken my cronies of those at the top, the few private organisation jobs are left for the large number of graduates to fight you, imagine 5 million graduates struggling for 1,000 jobs within a time period.

That said, never give up, keep on being on top of your game and give your best, that comfortable job ALWAYS comes along the line, it always does, as long as you are persistent and hardworking. Also, while hustling for that dream job, make sure you keep your hands busy with a smaller job, even if you feel its beyond your class/qualification. The good thing about that is that it gives you work experience and saves you from boredom, the worst thing for an unemployed graduate is allowing depression hit you as a result of boredom and idleness.

You must be referring to your village men back in your village to say men can't withstand rich ladies and are intimidated by them, what a pathetic excuse to be complacent with depending on men for money, mention rich women in Nigeria today and almost all of them are married, so what are you saying?

The fact is just that most Nigerian ladies are too lazy and want to be spoon fed the good things of life. Already made men are looking for already made women as well to marry and not financial liabilities like most Nigerian ladies, already made men would only use and dump those of you who are depending on such men.
RomanceRe: Ladies! Do You Prefer A Struggling Man Or An Already-made Man? See Replies by cloud9usher:
I'm not surprised!

Sometimes I imagine how this world would look like in 20 years to come. About 40 years ago, our mothers readily accepted to marry our fathers, back then most of our fathers were either uneducated or very poor, but these women(our mothers) stayed with our fathers and they grew together and raised a successful family.

Fast forward to 2017, a Nigerian girl won't even consider dating an average guy talk less of marrying him.

These set of ladies we have now in Nigeria are not any closer to the qualities of our dear and great mothers, I'm not in support of a man being lazy or broke, no man should EVER be in such a state, but Nigerian women had shown in recent times that they are just after the money and are greedy and lazy enough to see men as a poverty alleviation program.

If Nigerian ladies were as successful and rich as how they want men to be before they can consider dating/marrying then it wouldn't have been an issue, the annoying thing is that these ladies who set standards for riches are either jobless or have nothing to write home about financially, its only in Nigeria that women make it seem like being rich is for the man only, the man should get rich and spend the money on their lazy ass, what a mentality!

I rest my case, my God help you ladies, as for we men, we are way smarter and wiser now, we are!
EducationRe: 11 Popular English Words We Use Incorrectly by cloud9usher: 8:45am On Jun 05, 2017
You are unequivocally wrong on dupe.

Dupe has noun and verb forms, the verb form of dupe means: "to deceive, especially by trickery; to cheat or fool someone."

Its the noun form of dupe which refers to a person who is easily deceived.

Papzey try and do your research as well before posting anything, so you don't end up doing more harm than good.

grin

Can someone scroll up and take a look at that lady with the 20 year old tag? Look at that face please.

I reserve my comment grin

Women are funny people. When they are 14 they want people to take them to be 18, when they are 28 they want people to see them as 21. The only time which a lady proudly tells you her age is when is 18-19, of course to express the fact that she is now an adult, after that her age becomes a top secret that even CIA, FBI and MI6 can't decipher grin
RomanceRe: Is It Possible For A Guy To Date A Lady Four Years Without Sex? by cloud9usher: 5:31pm On Jun 03, 2017
Tinolee:
Am in a serious relationship of Seven years!

She is a Virgin n not ready to loose it!

I gat no choice dan to endure!

But that one no mean say side chick no dey!
Dude, the "I'm a virgin so you have to wait" line has been used by millions of girls successfully and girls inform each other of its success rate in regards using it as a perfect strategy to prevent a man having his way, because they know if a girl is not a virgin most men would not see reason of her keeping it from him when she has given it to someone else.

And then even if she is a virgin for real and wants to keep it that way, most times along the line another man comes and takes her virginity either by her carelessness or naivety, and because she has told you she wants to remain a virgin she won't have the guts to tell you another man has taken your priced gift you have been waiting for. 9 out of 10 cases of guys who do this always come out with sad stories.

The psychology of women is very funny, you whom she has given the no sex stand, she would be so determined psychologically never to go back on her words towards sex, with this in her mindset even if you try all the tricks in the world she would resist them all, because her will power is psychologically strong, but another dude who is trying to break her defences would succeed faster because there is no psychological barrier in her mind towards the guy wanting to sleep with her. That's the funny way that women are wired.

You claimed you have dated your woman for 6 years now, she could have given it away 4 years ago but would never have the guts to tell you and would be playing along and would never allow you have her so you don't discover what she has done and she would be hoping along the line you would get tired of waiting and might end the relationship. Tell her you intend to marry her within 3 months and you want a clinical virginity test, she would start behaving funny, asking you that are you marrying her virginity or you are marrying her as a person grin Try this and if she doesn't start acting apprehensive then you don't have to worry.

Women would keep wanting to eat their cake and have it.

They would call for equal rights but would want a man to be the one to bear the financial burden, is that equal rights please? Or it equal rights now only to privileges and not responsibilities as well?

Equal rights should be for both privileges and responsibilities as well.

To those still expecting your success mails I wish you guys all the best because I know how that feels, when just 3 people got success mails on the tread the day First Bank started sending mails and I had not gotten mine I felt so empty inside, thank God the success mail dropped hours later.

I just hope the next stage of recruitment should come with them informing us at least a week to the date - to enable us prepare for travel or get permissions from present jobs, etc.

Its not our business to know details why a thief is exposed, all that matters is that the polity is hot enough to have thieves being exposed rather than the free rides they used to enjoy prior to now.

Everyone was not brought up to be morally bankrupt like you to the extent of having sex with a legally married woman. This is the second time I've experienced such thing. The first one was very easy for me to deal with because I was managing in a school so when the same issue came up I left. This one is someone everyone in my family knows and we have had excellent relationship over many years.

I just don't want to hurt her feelings, cause a problem with our family relationships and also don't want to compromise in that aspect. It's not compulsory for you to believe or comment if you can't give meaningful advice
At the first sentence in bold; grin oh really? Second time? You must have the spirit of Joseph in you for married women to be wanting you. For your mind you think say you be fine boy abi? grin

At the second sentence in bold; you don't wanna hurt her feelings? Like seriously? Someone is trying such crap on you and you give a damn about her feelings? If you really have high morals as you portrayed you shouldn't even be considering not wanting to hurt her feelings, freaking get the hell out of that house! Heck! I'm beginning to believe this story is fake as others have said.

You are just being used as a fall back guy for the b.itch! These are not the type of girls to keep as your main girl, they only deserve to be those you use them for what they deserve to be used for and not taken serious with.

Sometimes I'm so disappointed that I have to be called a "Nigerian" with people like you!

Take a look at how this simpleton is displaying his fraudulent self openly without shame, is this the type of father you want your son to know you for?

Do you know the millions that read Nairaland daily? Do you know which foreign bodies or people might be reading this fraudulent act you posted? That's how tomorrow a foreign platform would deny other hard working Nigerians opportunities to do good business because of such bad impression like this which you just displayed with impunity here, you are such a worthless addition to Nigeria as a country! I spit on a pathetic fellow like you!
