So it's a no no then.
I don't even find it aesthetically appealing.

So make e carry e wahala dey go.

I rarely see people planting this indoors here but almost every professional gardener sells it in Lagos. Now, I'll ask that you avoid this plant until you are a very experienced gardener. Its sap is super-toxic and gushes out once you cut it and easily absorbed through skin and eyes. Repercussions are bad, we are talking anaphylactic symptoms (your eyes will feel like they're burning off and you will have shortness of breathe and all sorts) and you need to go to the hospital to get an Antihistamine shot. The symptoms are worse if you have a latex allergy (which we don't check for here). Professional gardeners abroad recommend using gloves and eye goggles when pruning this plant and scrubbing (yes scrubbing) your hands off afterwards.

That is a very BRAVE PASTOR!

He did wrong (if he did) by dipping his hands into church funds but he accepted responsibility and paid the price (even though it was the ultimate price) for his error. That is how honourable people behave.
YOU PAY THE PRICE!.... and only very few "brave and men of dignity" can do that.
He also speared his family the agony of embarrassment of an arrest, trial, e.t.c

Unlike our Politicians who are always trying to escape Justice by lying and bribing.

I wish his family the fortitude to bear the loss but God is more welcoming of this Pastor, than any known Politician alive in Nigeria.

Any society where citizens take responsibility for the criminal misbehaviour (especially stealing) is usually a great society.
Ask the Germans and the Japanese about this

Lol you claim not to be proud but your opening post and even title says otherwise.

I'm wondering why you opened the thread since you already made up your mind.

@tearoses, I think he should settle her Biko. In the long run, the practicality of what she can do with the money will be more important than preserving a dignity that he can't even see or acknowledge. Let her start a business on the side or something.

Oh dear. Sorry to hear that.

3/4 cups of water would be enough for 250 grams of flour I suppose. Most times I eyeball it no definite measurement. Just until it's a very thick paste.

sugar is usually to taste.
Some like more or less. Try 1/2 to 3/4 or 1 cup of sugar depending on your palate.

If you saw that video I attached, you'd see the consistency it's supposed to be at for it to turn out nice.
See it here. This lady knows what's up. I watch her videos a lot.

Dear Cococandy,
Today I tried to make puffpuff your way.
I dreamt of it being golden colored.
Perhaps vanilla flavored.
I checked your recipe that I shared.
I mixed it up buh it didnt have an actual volume of water to use.
I debated whether to ask or use my discretion.

I should have asked cry

All I got was puffpuff that looked like a wet rag!
Oil wet though.
Maybe I should call them oil puffs lipsrsealed
I ate my oilpuffs with tissue paper to squeeze the oil.
My son helped me to eat like a couple.
My husband did not even touch it angry
I gave some to my neighbours
I won't be surprised or angry if I see them in the bin tomorrow.

Please how much water should I use for 250g of flour.
And how much sugar too?

Thanks.

Don't marry him.
You'll regret it.
Yes maybe you guys agreed you'll get married if he sponsors your education but he's ruined the arrangement with his own hands.
Nobody sent him to cheat
And nobody asked him to deny the child that came from it. Shows he's not husband material.

Everyone is a JJC including me . . .there are so many flowers out there so one is always learning.
I do both bi annuals and perennials
to get colour for as long as possible, I plant biannual seeds or baby plants and bulbs.
I mainly plant them in containers and mix them so that their flowering times are staggered so I have colour from as early as march to Oct.

Perennials such as roses, Lavatera, lupins, calla lily's, stargazer lilys, hardy fuchsias etc come back year after year.

Did the man force his wife?
If she knew she was going into extramarital affairs, the least she could have done was use protection or insist they carry out tests together to acertain that none of them is carrying any nasty stuff.
She looks educated and enlightened. The husband should stop making her look like a child that was taken advantage of.

I understand he's heartbroken though. But this isn't helping him or anyone in any way.

Well pregnant or only daughter doesn't mean they should spend everyday with her.
Soon too much visiting may turn to contempt and the respect won't be there anymore.
If she goes to work from their during week days, the mom should let them enjoy their weekends together jare. That's not too much to ask.

As for that other thread, I just use eye look the story. One of those things that in-law meddlesome attitude can cause.
At least he didn't agree with his mom on that issue so let's give the guy a break.

There should be balance either way. Each party should try to make sure their family is not making their partner uncomfortable.

There are quite a lot of women like that unlike the way we are made to believe they are rare.
The problem is guys will always want the fake hair, fake eyelashes, waist trainer girls.
Then turn around and complain about how their hoe's ain't loyal.

Also the incessant complains that after suffering with a guy they tend to leave and go for supposedly better ladies came about for a reason. It means a lot of women have experienced it.

leisuretym:
you are a lucky man! it is better to be having those kind of embarrassment than the well exposed ladies you so desire that will finish you financially or battle with you over your income, my uncle relocated his local wife to Eket when he got a job with mobil, something happened and he lost the job after 7 years, it was the local lady who sustained the family for almost two years before he landed another job with Harliburton in PH, he was stunned by the amount of money the woman has saved when the going was good from cloth and shoes money, she traveled to lagos bought textile materials like Aso oke, Adire and Campala and she started selling to people who already know her with her attitute , you know PH pricing, she was even the one who went to knee down for a woman in their church which made her husband to get the new Job! can the well exposed lady that is busy raising shoulder with others in the church humble herself that way? can she do that when shes busy driving the latest ride in town? my dear the lady you have now is the kind of woman who will support you in any kind of condition , you are lucky shes even educated, see, don't end up in a money driven marriage, don't fall a victim, the best thing you can do is to enroll her in a school in Lagos where she will be rolling with classic people, either for a certificate course or diploma , that will polish her as your job changed you too, you are only feeling this way because you got the exposure before her, what if it happened the other way round?
am sure she will get over it in a little while! when my uncle enrolled his wife in school , her course mates were laughing at her, but when they realized shes a big woman , they became friend with her, teaching her how to dress, trending fashion and all that, her children love her so much, they now watch Telemundo together smiley !

The only weekend i have with my wife, she's there again.

Haba, make i enjoy my wife na alone.-walk naked,,cuddle her etc,she won't let me do that with her presence. Lol
Ha that's too much sha.

But I believe the visits will lessen as time goes on. She's probably having some hard time letting go since you guys only got married recently.
Fortunately she's not meddlesome like you said so there may not be that urgency to curb her visits.

Still find a gentle way to pass the message to your wife. Even she must be getting tired.

I don't know what you are talking about when you talk about love. I have not lusted or craved for an another lady before let alone infatuation or love.? You are really very funny
So what do you want us to tell you?
You seem to disagree with anyone who tells you to try working with her to suit your taste.

Oya leave her make we hear word.

BTW crayfish tastes good in concoction jollof rice in case you don't know. cool sue me.

If eating those things reminds you of the poor life you're trying to leave behind then you haven't seen anything yet.

You think poshness is achieved by eating sushi, filet mignon or caviar? Don't worry You'll reach a level of poshness that bushmeat and palm wine will turn around to become a luxury once again.

You want those Instagram babes with over-bleached skin and spoilt brat personas.

Of course you'll say no but you stand against anyone telling you to be patient with this girl or telling you how to go about it.
So maybe you want to hear folks tell you to leave her. Na you sabi.

Follow your heart then. It's obviously not with this babe anymore. You can't force harmony. Most things about her will piss you off now. And if you marry her the way she is, you'll find reason to justify cheating on her with posher ones.

Butterfly Pea Vine

It has the most delicious name, ladies.

Get ready... (clears throat):

"Clitoria Ternatea". Because apparently they said the flowers resemble lady parts.
grin grin grin
Scientists are Hot, it is clear to see. Why else will all these naughty names exist to name flowers??

So, I saw a Butterfly Pea vine today in Ikoyi. Really pretty! It's a vine and a climber, so you must plant this and support it with an arch or a doorway or metal arch because it can't stand on its on. It likes moisture. The flowers give a beautiful blue dye which is used as food colouring and its fruits are peas. So it's safe and edible. It actually improves soil quality when you plant it. So it's a good plant, just remember, water and an arch for support.

Btw, the gardener selling this plant called it "roseling". She had zero idea of what it was undecided

if not God using Gej through prayers of some Christians to avert war. We would have been still at war front now or counting losses.

Those guys who predicted it were not wrong at all.

The British did it for their selfish interest, till date, we are still being deceived because of the selfish interest of a few, in the name of one Nigeria.

THERE IS ONE NIGERIA, AS LONG AS Oil is flowing from the south And the owners of the oil wells Are northerners and south Westerners.

After the mistake of the British, why can't we come together and agree on a way forward.

From 1960 till date, we have been suffering from the same issue, TRIBALISM

GEJ Called for a conference to address this issues and see how to reunite to some extent. Some people are planning to thwart the implementation of that agreement because they feel it doesn't favor them

for example, LOCAL government autonomy has been thwarted. No one is talking about petroleum Industry bill .

We are just sitting on a time bomb, instead of addressing issues squarely we play politics with it and apply cosmetics to cover it up.
