What past? ,
That she dated someone before and got pregnant.

I bet you have girlfriend. Maybe you're indirectly telling us that after dating her, your relationship with her would have rendered her useless since anyone who ever had a relationship now has a 'past' that makes them scum.

Everyone dey act like all is well,

Bro it is one thing to love, it is another to be able to forget her past. Ask yourself, can you forget this past? Are you sure you won't disgrace this woman in the future?

Be wise, majority of the guys saying ''all is well' won't accept such. Some of the females saying "go ahead" would never allow any woman with such come close to their brothers.

Just be careful, your confusion shows you're bitter and worried. It is your cross, not ours.

So true.
The people who arrange the curriculum for these kids are dumb. How many of them even understand child psychology much less what they as kids need to be learning?

Very funny grin

They never ready.
Follow byvan advice. But the time you guys have given birth to 3 kids, they'll beg you to come marry like that.

Okay seriously though. Love is a necessary and huge factor but sometimes not always enough by itself. Are you sure you won't have problems with this family in the future?

Look well before you leap. Your babe may not have a say where her parents are concerned which might makes things worse for you along the line. She needs to be able to at least oppose some things albeit respectfully. She better woman up and not let her parents who've lived their own lives get in the way of hers.

The recipe please ma'am.
And how do you use your electric oven to bake. Educate me please, I have had mine for decoration for long now.
I've a video that I followed.
Can't really type out the recipe now. So I'll post the link for you.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8NVqDQZWgk
To use your oven, just press the 'bake' button, it'll start blinking and then you increase or decrease to the temperature you want. Press start and it will preheat first, then start baking.
You take it out when it's cooked (according to the recipe you're following) then press 'cancel' Or 'off'
And that's it.

I baked the bread at 300•c for 25 mins

By 2019....

Nigeria would have been finished economically

There will be no opposition to check the actions of the Buhari govt.

Elections will be mere formalities as all electoral structures must have succumbed to the dictates of the desperate APC govt.

Nigerian masses can wail all they like and that would amount to nothing

Let it be known that following the precedence set by Buhari on the opposition, APC will never allow their defeat through the ballot. They'll rather die to retain power than hand over to an opposition that would persecute them same way Buhari is currently doing to PDP.

By then, we would have successfully and tactically ended democracy as we know it.

That was so nice of you.

One can only pray for strength to be that calm and collected in the face of losing a loved one.

Royver:
This is a very deep and insightful topic. Kudos.
I remember one of the first deaths I experienced as a fresh intern just out of med school. The guy was a young dude in his late 20s and had HIV. I came to his bed when he was taking his last breaths. At that time HIV was still highly stigmatized disease and all his family had abandoned him to his fate. I saw his struggling and gasping for breath, sweat streaming down his face and very restless. I asked the nurse if anything could be done and she said no, he was already moribund. I could see the agony in his face as he struggled with death.
I had just finished watching an American movie where the guy had been talking to his comatose friend nd consoling him. And they say the last sense to go in death is hearing. So I bent close to him and whispered encouragement and told him he would be OK on the other side, that he shouldn't be afraid. The guy calmed down almost immediately. I squeezed his hand for a short while and then let go. It didn't take long after the fellow died. I honestly felt the talk helped him. It would be nice if people keyed more into this instead of screaming and sometimes hitting and pinching the dying.
Nice thread.

Divorced with kids?
No. Too much babymama drama.

Widowed with kids? Err Maybe. Depends on a whole lot of things.

@bold, Someone's future selfish husband loading.......
KingEbukasBlog:
Insightful OP ? Married guys should step up their game ? I think Nigerian women or most women bore men with their languid sex styles undecided . The women give no reason to their hubbies to "step up his game" with their distasteful attitude towards spicing things up . Women were designed for that kind of thing not the men . Plus put some efforts and not push the burden of performance to him alone . You'll wear him out and he might look elsewhere - enticing and worth being longed for .

Give him a reason to wish for you all day and watch him give you memorable nights - its that simple .

grin grin

Even the continuos use of 'sexy' in her name calls for serious concern.
I have no qualms with her looking good or seeking to stay in the limelight, but I think that as a married woman and a mother of 4 grown kids she is too old to have her fans continue to objectify and portray her as a sex symbol. She ought to be creative and move on to more mature stuff and activities.
You need to check out ladies like Mo Abudu,Joke Silva, Onyeka Onwenu just to mention a few, they are still shinning in the lime light and yet not selling or exuding sexuality.

I couldn't agree more.
darkenedrebel:
Why?..Is she a slave?, and won't that be depriving the progenies the diversity marriage is supposed to offer?..

Father(Ibo) + mother(Yoruba) = offspring(Ibo & Yoruba)

•If the woman changes her state of origin, then the child loses that right.

So if a Nigerian man marries a Caucasian from St.Louis, she's expected to denounce her state of origin?

Come on...

Whoever pauses even for a second to think, or ask if a woman should alter her state of origin after she gets married also needs to reevaluate his/her education.
Are we living in the dark ages or what?

Women are human beings, not properties or automatons abeg.
I agree. But women are still expected to. Hence the question and debate.

Askseek:
I think the problem here is when we say Nigeria we are referring to a really large group of people and not all do the same. Culture differs. I never experienced this. When I got a new passport after marriage all I was asked for was marriage certificate.
That's why I said I think it might be a thing of the official's personal opinion.
I didn't generalize.
