This extraordinary snapshot is the most startling illustration yet of the brazen manner in which Schwarzenegger betrayed his wife, Maria Shriver, who had no idea that the former governor had fathered the child during an affair that saw him and the housekeeper regularly making love in the marital bed.

After sleeping with her boss, Patty would even dress in Maria’s high-priced designer gowns, decorating the outfits with pieces from her employer’s cherished jewellery collection.

The revelation that Patty, a trusted housekeeper and friend to whom Maria confided her distress at Arnold’s philandering, not only made love to Schwarzenegger almost on a daily basis, but also gave birth to their son Joseph, now 13, has made headlines around the world. But as the former muscleman’s biographer, I am not in the least bit surprised.
As for this bit,
I’m offended for her. Gosh.

Let me say first of all I never knew Arnold did this. Now that’s out of the way.

It wasn’t a one time thing.
He did it in their home.
He fathered a child with the lady.
He helped the lady disrespect his wife in addition to his own disrespect. Actually it was more like a mockery of her (if he’s letting her dress in the wife’s clothes).

I don’t blame her. With all these put together, I think I’d leave too.

Rice porridge( don’t know if it has a Nigerian equivalent) with bread and egg. It’s mostly eaten with sugar and milk and is a common and much eaten breakfast in Ghana. Quick and easy to make. You’re invited. smiley
Your post revived a craving in me. I made this today.

Added raisins, cinnamon and macadamia nuts. I should make this more often

Means we are not weaker then cool
ericsmith:
Other facts as "women are weaker vessels" or "emotional being" how doez it discredit the main fact that women handle pain better than men.
we are talking of creatures that bleed for seven days n still stay up,weaker vessel indeed ...how many men can stand menstra cramp not to talk of pains that comes with child birth.
The most powerful man can defend himself physically buh when love n emotion strikes he falls yakata, vice versa when it comes to women.
Therefore, a man needs protection from emotional strikes just as much as a woman need more protection from physical strikes,my opinion

This
ibkayee:
Lots of different reasons, here are some common ones

- Guilted/shamed into doing suffer head under the guise of tradition, religion etc
- Conflicting emotions (e.g. stockholm syndrome) etc
- Financial dependency on their husbands/financial insecurity
- Threatened by their partner
- Would rather tolerate someone familiar/a toxic environment than start afresh, especially in a marriage obsessed society and a justice system that has a history of failing them

The pain lingers on. . . .THE WOMEN ALWAYS EXPRESS THEIR HURT more than the MEN. wink
That’s what I think about when considering leaving or staying. I dislike living in rancor and bitterness so if I say I’m going to stay, there’s has to be acceptance and it has to be from the depths of my heart.

How does that work out? Invite the kid for thanksgiving and Christmas? Big happy family? Make conversation with the other woman?
“So tell me Lisa, how did you meet my husband?” grin

Family › Re: What's Making You Depressed? by cococandy(f): 10:57am On May 21, 2020
I wouldn’t call it depressed but there are a lot of things going on around the world that makes me sad.
The sadness comes from a feeling of helplessness. Like “oh if only I had the power to stop this bad thing or that bad thing from happening to this or that person/s or group of people.”
I don’t want to go into details.
Thanks for asking OP

The divorce is now final.
You know it takes 2 to finalize a divorce. I don’t think they were ready to let the marriage go. Too painful for both of them I think.

30 years na JOKE? undecided
This is an article from April,
30 years is truly not a joke. Something like this will shock you. Would I leave after 30 years of marriage?
Hmm. Serious question. Honestly I don’t know either. I’m guessing it depends on the general state of the marriage at that time. Like...

how is everything else?

Do I still like my spouse?

Is he or she actually sorry about it?

What would I loose or gain from a divorce at that point?

What will it cost me? (I don’t play with my money.)

Am I ready for an open marriage? If you’re having kids with other people, don’t except faithfulness.

In fact after 30 yrs of marriage, am I still sexually active with him or her? That would influence other decisions too.

I can’t know until that time comes.

How anyone can reconcile the thought that the supposed "weaker vessel" and "more emotional gender" should be better at handling emotional pain and justify the exposure of the "weaker one" to hurt in the name of culture should be subject of scientific research. You can't say women are weaker and "more emotional" and then put all your effort to protect the stronger. It just does not make sense for the representatives of the "logical gender" to say so. undecided

It’s not more painful when it’s them. They are just entitled and believe their feelings are more important.

Women are usually told to suck it up and forgive

You can actually ask her too. It’s not disrespectful. That’s the surest way to make sure you’re addressing her how she wants to be addressed.
