#Just saying I do know that. But not that really outrageous to spend on a designer product you like. You sef know. Well in this context of spending on designer products. Usually whoever is reporting the gist will like to convert it to naira so that the news will be more sensational. They won't say 1k dollars, instead they will say 350k Naira (or whatever) So that the readers will be more upset. |

Pls naira has no value. You people should stop calculating the value of things based on their naira value. So if I buy a bag worthy $1k dollars now somebody will carry my matter for head that I'm spending hundreds of thousands of naira on one bag. Meanwhile it's just not as hyped as it sounds when the money is converted to naira. Stop the converting and petty calculations. Let people live their lives. |

tearoses: The truth is that he is the adult and she is the child Even if a kid tries to manipulate an adult, the adult has more brain power to overcome it If the poster cannot deal with a 4 year old then how can he be mature enough to deal with other challenges in his life Coco we are talking about a 4 year old here I am sure that the poster is over 22 Or better still how can they deal with temptation from a mature woman? If the girl is all he said she is and telling the mom isn't an option since they spoil her according to him. Then simply never ever be in a private with her. She can only do those things he says she does if no one is around right? After the first incident, he should have NEVER have been in a private setting with her ever again. @ bold, You don't have to. Move along now. NevetsIbot: True... I have never been helpless even at the hands of someone older. I'm dealing with this decisively by coming here to get the best advice! Its a 4yr's old life here and any little mismanagement can pose serious damage to her physically or psycologically. The way in which I report might make her mother go ramming at the little girl like a bull. What would the girl feel like, have you even thought of how it might affect the girl's sexual life when she grows up thinking sex is only for procreation?..Get it before you start jumping around like a baboon. And hey, In my mention, I was talking to your friend when I stated the word a''accusation''...and yeah, you're cynical. Glad you know that.
I'm trying to make the best decision here and I don't think I can tolerate you anymore. |

It's true he has a lot of faults but look at the origin. That marriage no be am (and yes he still responsible for his own wrong doing). But if I were him I can't guarantee that I'll be a good spouse to a family that starts out treating me badly as the OP's in-laws did him. Cause and effect. keepingmum: Mr Greg clap for yaself oo.
You didn't want to marry a lady who you can't subdue yet you followed the money trail .....but it's your wife's fault. She pretended. She bribed your family, it's all her fault.
You resigned your job because U were underperofming but it's your wife's fault.
Wife gave u capital to set up a business which was ur responsibility to run. U ran the business down and out.....but it's all wife's fault.
U stopped sleeping with wifey but it's wife's fault
U were caught masturbating bmwhilst denying ur wife sex but it's wife's fault.
U then started an affair whilst in Nigeria, but it's wifey fault for u committing adultery.
U left 9ja for the abroad and within 5 months have found ya soul mate, the Ying to ur yang, the beautiful goddess that leaks ur left nyaaannsh and sleeps on the floor of ur feet: the one u can subdue and control. You now need validation and support from nairalanders to go ahead and divorce ur evil wife......abi? Continue committing adultery u hear. It's not even upto 6months u left the country and u r already cheating on ur wife. But it's OK, it's ur wife's fault. She made u commit adultery. She made u listen to a dodgy pastor who prophesied the marriage and is now also prophesying divorce. I hope ur dodgy pastor has also prophesied marriage to ur new lady? I hope he will also officiate at ur new wedding o?
It is everybody's fault but urs. U my friend, are a lazy, gold digging, child hustler
Mr Husband of the year, where is your sense of responsibility? Have u kept ur vows?
Carry on oh, by the time ur obodo oyinbo princess finished dealing with u, ur story will be worse than Stella oduah's and her ex husband. |

What kind of people are these? Jeez! And you let them do that? I'm sorry to say you encouraged this and now it's become too much for you to handle. You let them take your wedding gifts? That's the height of it. I'm pissed at you dude. I don't like when people let others walk all over them. Leave her let her family marry her. All these stupid in-laws that don't allow their kids to have a happy marriage. gregvash: Thank you so much. I stopped talking to my In-laws when I first reported her calling me Gold Digger Issue to them, and they laughed at me saying they were watching me to know the real motives behind me marrying their sister and daughter. According to the mum "If the purpose you marry my daughter is because of our wealth, then you have failed".. Sorry to say, all my wedding gifts, I never saw any of it as her family seized it saying it was their tradition and I never fought over it. I am not perfect but at least I have always known the value of Empathy and so I am careful with anyone's feelings |

Whatever dude. You're not helpless at the hands of a 4/5 year old. Deal with this decisively and stop whining like you're some sort of victim. Never accused you of anything actually but you're right I'm cynical. The situation is not a helpless one like you're making it out to be. NevetsIbot: delishpot and cococandy. Before you start your cynical converstations. Note... I've never handled a situation like this before. And this proug 4yr old is soo arrogant that if you beat her now, she'll be back to torment you everytime and the only correction she heeds to are those from her parents. Even her brothers can't wrap their hands round her. Ive never seen a Kid as spoilt as her. So, stop defaming me. I came here for help and advice to tackle this situation.
I know how africans think and I know things can turn around against me if I take some actions. My security first. Although I love the girl and want to rid her of the bad habit, I can't sleep in a police cell cos of that. It's not easy to tell a mom that ''I think her daughter has been introduced to sex''.... You guys keep thinking I'm freezing cos its a sexual advancement. Wrong! If curvy ladies couldnt get their hands on me, one tiny 4yr old can't!
And I've beaten this girl with my drumsticks cos of her habit times without numbers thinking she'd change. Talked to her, it all bounced off her head. You don't know the girl like I do! So! Stop the bloody defamation.
And Delishpot.... You don't seem cool when you throw slight accusations at me just cos I want advice on this issue. I won't rush into things cos of you. |

delishpot: Abeg OP, you are sounding strange to me now O. As if you are helpless with the girl and you are acting like a victim sef. A child of four is what is giving you all this headache? You can not tell her mom, you can not tell a pastor or elder, you can not shake the little kid off either, you are having sleepless nights, worrying as if the child is saying sleep with me or lose your job. I don't get it anymore O. What exactly do you want? As in what do you want us to say or do on this matter? Maybe it's me not understanding it anymore. Why is it hard to tell her to leave your side when she cones around? Or ask her mom to hold her as she is disturbing you and you need to focus? If you can't tell mom, why not tell dad? Hian lol @ bold. Well some dudes like to act defenseless in the face of sexual temptation. Even if the temptation is coming a non-living thing. |

I daresay the rest of his action after the incident (I.e mouthing off and claiming he also sleeps with prostitutes) was a defense mechanism to try retain his pride and assert that he's a man (lol) since he's already been treated like a child. OP just take correction and also know that you will be blamed for things that aren't even your fault much less the ones you initiated. |

First of all you have to understand that the woman gets blamed whenever there's an issue in the family involving extended family members. So what the surprise there?
Also this boy is not a child 26 or 24 you say? I don't know but it sounds like taking his phone and going through it wasn't the right thing to do. As long as he was complaint to his Oga (your husband's) work policies, he's free to do what he wants to do in his free time. (except it involves criminal activity). I see that part of your story as portraying too much control over him because he works for you guys. You and your husband had no right to do that. even though you didn't exactly send him home, let's face it He would probably still be there if you hadn't started looking into his private life which in turn led to this. Like you said, he's not your child.
Anyway let people talk. What can you really do about it?
And With the rest of the workers, let them be. If they don't flout your husband's work rules, that should be enough. don't go looking for anything in their personal lives that you don't like. They are adults and should be treated as such. |

ifyalways: A 5 years old does all that @ OP
stop playing with the girl. Tell her mother directly not the pastor or another third party. The less people involved, the better and safer for you. You however need to pick your words wisely and carefully when telling the mom. Don't act like you're so sure the girl is sexually active/they failed in their duties etc on her, apply wisdom.

I'm not sure you read her post. If you did, then you have to agree that this is a tasteless comment. What are you really saying? That men can't help but assault people sexually because everything about you is sex? In another context maybe one can try to see your point. But In this context where sexual assault is indicated, I don't know what meaning you expect readers to draw from this. pls clarify. 5minsmadness: Like i said before, everything about men is sex. This is thier basest instinct. Even those forming 'sapiosexual' (silliest word ever) It is the beginning and ending of every man's misunderstanding. The sooner ladies get to realise this, the better.

People that do that use it as tool for subjugation and intimidation. It doesn't come from a place of sexual attraction. Rather it comes from a place of darkness in that person.
