The budget for the National Assembly is bigger than the budget for 21 States. How does that make any sense. Politics is the most rewarding profession in Nigeria and that is because all they do is steal. like seriously, what happened on the island can happen anywhere in the world, its just a case of bad drainage system we have so I see no reason why some people are just so happy to discredit the area rather than profer a solution.

its not a case of bad drainage system per se like 85% because of bad drainage... if a person digs on the island you'll see the ocean water like 8ft to 10ft... the state govt would need to create a man made island or very big and deep reservoir to channel the water.... that's why I see eko atlantic as a waste of money..

When the I.C circurt of any heavy duty gen set develops emergency fault or fails to kick start maybe due to problem from the kick starter, what is the bail out option or better still, what will be your next line of action in restoring power within a limited time frame.. Take AMAA award event scenario as a case study..

If you have three 12kva mikano diesel generatord and one is on while the second is on auto switch over incase of any glitch or mechanical failure.. How many minutes will it take you to unload the failed auxiliary generator and switch on the third one which has been idle..

Most big hotels in Nigeria don't rely on our power system and when big event such as AMAA award is involved, you don't expect them to be using PHCN light for a program that is being aired live... What happened was just engine failure and their auxiliary failed also in picking up immediately..

Big lie, most "Big hotels" have more than one standby generator.

While I agree with most of your submitions,ranging from how every region is important and how we all need each other,I disagree with you on the issue of oil not being of any use,its a really short sited way to look at it,there is a huge difference between the money being available and it being embezled,whether you choose to believe it or not,if oil dries up tomorrow,Nigeria as you know will gring to a halt,that is how important oil is to the nation at the moment,there is no doubt agriculture which the north is known for contributes hugely to the nations GDP but the truth remains that the revenues from the sale of these produce don't go to the federation account but private citizens unlike proceeds from oil which make up most of the governments revenue.

Stop spreading lies.

You are right about Agriculture contibuting to the GDP but 20% is wrong. I am Yoruba but lets always say the truth, Oil contributes abt 75% while Lagos( NPA, Customs and taxes from FIRS) contribute abt 20%. Agriculture is abt 5%

On wikipedia its 40% agric contributes, but just last week CNN said its 20%. That's why I chose 20%.

Herdsmen attack farms in the south.. That should tell u agric contributes a lot and some people want to destroy agriculture.

There are very rich southerners that make their money from agriculture but the main focus is on oil.
