PoliticsRe: Federal Allocation In Buhari's 1st Year In Office by codemaniacs:
kazuna:
Really?

Dianyi, it makes no sense to use population size to allocate revenue, if that is the case (as it is) the north will forever have undue advantage.

could that be the reason why they overbreed. I'd just finished Dan Brownz book Inferno and seriously viewin d North's population overload as a pure disaster, possibly an extinction event waitin to uncurl.
The north is not that populated most of their children die from all sorts of sickness. Most of them are from chad and niger.

Take time to read the report again and see the parameters used in sharing the money.

Again, we must re-orientate ourselves to the fact that there is much more to Nigeria than the oyel.

The importance of what the North contributes to our survival as a nation cannot be over-emphasized. Just by experiencing tomato ebola in the north in just one season, the whole of Nigeria has been suffering to get tomatoes at cheap/reasonable price. Can we imagine what will happen if all the farm produce that comes from there stop coming to the south? We will import? With which money and at what cost?

The earlier we realized that each region has its own relevance, the better for us as a nation to move forward.
North does not produce anything. They do not have farms like the middlebelt and the entire south.

Can you receive an international wire transfer directly to your Nigerian, Naira-denominated bank account? Thought it could only be done with a domiciliary account?
unless its a refund... I don't think its possible to receive directly to a naira bank account... you'll need a payoneer card.

PoliticsRe: Why We Can’t Stop Non-nigerian Herdsmen – FG - VANGUARD by codemaniacs: 8:23pm On Jun 09, 2016
Ironi:
I don't think ECOWAS countries thought carefully about this cattle grazing rights of member countries before signing the agreement.

Regardless of ECOWAS, member countries are still sovereign nations and to allow cattle to cross over into your country destroying properties and farms in the name of ECOWAS does not make sense at all. I bet this particular issue was not thought through very well.

As I speak other West African countries are also having this same headaches with these Fulani herdsmen.

This is 2016 and it's about time these Fulani herdsmen realize the days of their nomadic life is over.

They must start thinking of settling on lands offered to them as ranches and raise their cattle in a civilized manner. They can't expect people to tend to their farms and grow grasses for them just to herd their cattle to these lands. That is courting death.

This doesn't make any sense at all and the earlier this problem is sorted out in West Africa the better.
you're naive... these guys are only using cattle grazing to carry out their jihad agenda.... it has always been like this since the 1800s..
you should read history.. nothing will prevent them from carrying out their goal unless other tribes stop them..

Home for all Yorubas and their friends alone, Ibos are forced visitors. As soon as Nigeria gives you Biafra, you must leave immediately with all your family! Simple!!
That yoruba leaders are tolerating them for now does not mean they would tolerate them in future...

Yoruba youths are seeing the f:oolishness of their leaders today and things like this will be prevented in future.
PoliticsRe: Ambode Orders The Closure Of Pig Farms Located In Residential Areas, Lagos by codemaniacs: 8:35am On Jun 09, 2016
KELVIN086:
Oh I thought that is even a poultry farm , it's like there's money in that pig business for someone to use a very priced property meant for real estate to rear pigs.
In agriculture, its about the hectares of land and not the location.

Why can't the govt ban people from building residential houses near farms.

The same thing happened in ikorodu, from fadeyi to lagos island used to be filled with palm trees hence the name "PALMGROOVE".

Then Nigeria was one of the largest exporters of palm products.

Govt needs to protect and improve agriculture not kill it.

People saying crap. There's a difference between allergy and food you don't eat. I don't eat okra, fish, onions, boiled yam. Those aren't allergies. If I force myself to eat them, worst case is I throw up. Allergy is different. It's a poison to your system and can kill
Then keep eating them and see if u won't end up in the hospital..

This is the problem with Elegushi beach. I wonder the kind of marine spirits that are there, lurking around, looking for young people to devour. That is the last place I'll ever go to have fun. I've lost people to that beach. Even Last December, youths of my church went there to have fun but 2 boys died. Thank God I didn't go. How it happened is still a mystery. It is well.
there're no such thing as spirits.. If someone can't swim then that person shouldn't go near a pool... The beach is worse because of the waves of the ocean.. If someone can't hold their breath and remain calm while in water then avoid deep pool.. Don't even try to form for friends, tell them you can swim...

One of the most important things to never forget about life is Surviving...

I can see that there is nothing like one Nigeria, even our smaller children knows the tribe they belong, on till we put apart tribalism in our mind we will just be deceiving ourselves.
Tribalism can't die. If tribalism is put apart then that will destroy an ethnic group culture.

What u should be promoting is ethnic tolerance and ethnic respect..

pulani is correct.... they are from senegal... if you google senegal you'll see pulani as one of the tribes.

They tax employed people.

Nigeria does not have enough employed people to tax... How do u think Lagos state makes its money?

Now, I want anybody to go and research the
Primary, secondary or university school attended by most of the wealthy Nigerians.
I want you to go to their hometown.
I want you to visit the street in which they have their primary residences.
Your guess is as good as mine. Decayed schools, open sewers, rundown unpaved Streets are what you will see.
Go to ibadan the area with brown roof houses has very smooth roads..

@codemaniacs: LOL. Yes, we do need 24 hours electricity supply and resource control, and better roads(better general transportation systems actually), and better security of lives and property...so on and so forth. But above that, we as a people, need to rise above our CRAB IN THE BASKET mentality. All over Western Europe; US and Canada, there is 24 hours supply of electricity and all what not, but the Pull Him Down mentality's still there within Black folks. We always seem to be in some sort of needless competition and rivalry with ourselves. It's painful when one receives hostility from other races outside, and come back home to receive more hostility from his own race again. The thing get as e be. People wey other people dey oppress, wey suppose unite to make themselves a stronger collective, go instead dey concentrate on fighting and destroying themselves.
There are "PHD's" everywhere.. Here they fight in southern Nigeria they fight. In other countries, they shoot or stab people without warning like the herdsmen..
