Politics › Re: Is The CBN Governor Really Responsible For Weakening Of The Naira? by CodeTemplar(op): 5:09pm On May 27, 2023
4Play:
This in a nutshell summarises the naira debacle. It's not simply the CBN governor (a different governor under a Buhari government would likely adopt the same policies) but the governor has worsened an already bad situation.
Great analysis. You absolved him of wrongdoings but couldn't resist sticking to the popular opinion about him being the source of our weakened naira.

Most of what your wrote will have been taken care of if the manufacturing sector was up and doing. That is beyond the CBN governor.

who goes to deposit such huge amount of cash, in a bank, at closing hours....? just counting that huge amount of money would last at least an hour!

any man who walks around with $11M in cash (in such above yeye looking car with no police escort), deserves anything he gets from armed robbers because he is the biggest HE-diot in town!
The bankers who rejected that money too are suspects..banks hardly reject deposits.

Now I believe there are demonic forces veiling the eyes of understanding of leaders. This man must have been delivered of some thought stream inhibiting demons to begin to do the right thing at the very end. Tinubu will leave this cow loan for corn and cassava loans in order to have his own legacy.

This is what the lanky Fulani champion should have started with three days into his first term and not to the end of his second term. So much blood of the monkey and baboon.spilled yet RUGA never fully materialized. No amnesty too. What a shame.

Uprightness100:
A clear Russian nuclear threat :

Russian senior Dmitry Medvedev (former President of Russia):
"Europe has lost its mind. The US usually acts according to its pragmatic interests, they don't fight themselves, they just make money.

As for Europe, for me it's an amazing story. They constantly heat up and enthuse the situation with their decisions. In this situation they will supply planes to the Kiev regime. More than that, they might also give the Ukrainians nuclear weapons.

But then that means a missile with a nuclear warhead will reach them, and there are irreversible laws of war. If it is a nuclear weapon, a pre-emptive strike would be necessary .
The Anglo-Saxons don't quite get it and think it won't come to that. It will happen, under certain conditions."
the only bargaining chip Russia has is nuclear weapons that's why they turn any little conversation into nuclear threat.

If not that Buhari closed out boaders in 2019, there's no way foodstuffs would have been this expensive

The Government should let foodstuffs be imported from our West African Neighbors

Nigerian farmers don really cash out on top our head since 2019, they don make enough money to expand and compete with our neighbors.
Exactly. Nothing benefits the consumers like open market and competition in economy.

Bad news for the 'We feed the country' group.

Let's even be importing from our neighbourhood countries. Since their govt are more serious about security if farmers. Go to Ghana and hear how they handle fulani.
This was why they closed border before unleashing food blockade against the south. To make us look dependent instead of them who are actually parasites.

Business › Re: Refinery: We’ll Ask Dangote To Sell Forex At Good Rate — Emefiele by CodeTemplar: 12:41pm On May 25, 2023
seborrhic:
This dull looking dunce has come up again with another of his stone aged economics.
If the refinery will bring in foreign exchange,as is claimed, you don't need to force or beg him to sell at favourable rate.As long as the dollar is entering the market,it will sell at good rate because this time around Dangote won't be the only source of foreign exchange, there will still be majority and substantial earnings from sale of crude.
The only message this dullard wants to pass is that goverment should quash the subsidy regime because of course it would benefit the likes of Emefiele substantially because I bet anything,he has a financial stake in this refinery, aside the billions of dollars he made the CBN to pump into it.
The other day the fraud told people Dangote has started repaying loans from a refinery that hasn't sold one single litre of fuel.
keep shut sir, emefiele is a good economist.
Business › Re: Refinery: We’ll Ask Dangote To Sell Forex At Good Rate — Emefiele by CodeTemplar: 12:31pm On May 25, 2023
In other words, we will trust Dangote to sell forex at low rate but you sold him ours against our wishes.
