The article is talking about poor pay and working conditions. One part t the writer failed to stress is the reality of economy on ground, how graduates can hardly improve it and how it influences the pay structure.
Corruption isnt a one dimensional phenomenon. Not even two, three or four dimensional phenomenon in Nigeria. |

It is commonsense now. Just ask yourself, if in 1960s, 60 million people lived on proceeds of 2 million barrel per day of oil and cultivated 900 sq. Km to support it, what will happen to the standard of the peoples lives when they grow into 200 million on same resources. |

amazingspiderma: Until a Nation fully embrace Innovation as a way of living, they will keep living in their ancestral ways calling it cultural heritage.
Cultural heritage that leads to poverty, crimes and violence is Poverty heritage.
This is the problem with Africa, spending time talking about Culture while others spend time to talk about Innovation.
Innovation is the Culture of Development. In Islam, there is even a body for opposing innovation. |

OkCornel: Two sides to this story.
1. Some lazy pastors who collected monthly church allowance but abandoned their duty post.
2. The church leadership who sacked pastors under the guise of “fruitfulness” or “church growth index” but turned a blind eye to the more affluent branches where membership numbers are stagnant or dwindling, but cash flow is still heavy thanks to some members with deep pockets giving generously.
There’s double standards on the side of the slacker and the sacked. This should be condemned! Don’t pick sides. The bold is pure speculation. |

Jerryherd: The only way headquarters can know who won more soul is through revenue generation, so it's still about money... Such a shame your argument is weak and leaky. More money can be a function of few rich members and less of it can be a result of many not so rich members. Church growth is about more souls and testimonies. |

God ordered tithes/offering/charity. He also desires that all men come to know him. That puts any motive of financial growth at God's desk. People thinking they can combine both tithes and more membership to attack GOs or presiding bishops are only blaming God unknowingly. |

seunmsg: So, when are you guys doing an analysis of the amount paid to Agberos in Enugu, Abia, Rivers, Anambra, Kano, Abuja etc? Abi NURTW only exist in Lagos?
Analysis like this would make a lot of sense if it was done all over the country or at least in some selected states so that we can do a comparative analysis. So, why single out Lagos state?
Btw, NURTW is a trade Union. Trade Unions and professional bodies charge their members huge sums annually. As a member of ICAN, I pay 30k to the institute as annual subscription. I still pay for conference, AGM and faculty due without complaining. So, are members of NURTW complaining? Who forced them to be members of the union? why is it paining you now? Lol... |
