Your brain is working @thoughtfeed, every technician who fixes things is only fixing what has been engineered and that requires a lot of education to achieve. People now associate the unbridled greed and huge ambitions with their education. Education only makes you employable and not employed.

Abubakar said under the new law, “except for those limited by guarantee, the income and profit cannot be shared by members of an association but strictly used for the objective of the association. If you are on the wrong side of the law, of course, laws are to be obeyed and if there are infractions, there will be a sanction,” he stated.
Churches don't have profit. What they have is contribution inspired by scriptural instruction with the aim "that there may be meat in God's house" or in more contemporary terms, running expense related to the ministry being met. Now how is this a profit?

Only churches who have something to hide are making noise over this CAMA thing. They are the ones used for money laundering. If you come forward and register with the CAC, then the govt has every reason to check your books and question any misappropriation accordingly. Such churches board of truestees can be removed and the members allowed to appoint new board. The era of one man milking the church is gradually coming to an end and some of them are unhappy. You run schools, estates, businesses in the name of a church yet you don't want the govt to regulate your financial moves. Then get yourself another country. You can't try such sh*t in the USA or UK.
Stop talking deranged. Hide what? Bombs , Guns or Biological weapons?

I entrust my tax with govt involuntarily and my tithe with church voluntarily, which should render account to me? The forced one or the freewill one?

Funny enough you went from money laundering to "one man milking the church", which are you after.

The gods are tired of greedy people I guess.

When they appear in the presence other gods and ask for money, the gods will think about what can teach them a lesson. First is robbery, then loved ones, then mama & papa, and finally eat shît.

It is audible to the deaf and visible to the blind that the group is sponsored by one of the nominees. But politics isn't played this way and power won't be dropped on anyone's laps come 2023.

This is the exact same mindset of Ohaneze (youth and adult branch), politicians of the South East and a sizeable amount of the South East people but it is delusional to believe that an automatic pass be granted a particular area because they haven't tried before.

The funniest part of it all is that all of the nominees are featherweight and won't even win elections in their state hands down if they run under the APC. Moghalu looks good to me but he is not sellable even in his own state and region.

The South East is playing the 2023 politics the wrong way. No strategy, no power candidate and none of them is influential to pull a miracle outside of the South East. And then there is the issue of trust the North has towards... lipsrsealed
Politics isn't by quarrelling one's way up. It is by alliance n support. Sometimes i am tempted to think the Igbo monikers bashing otgers here are sponsored by either the north or west.

Petra1 my good friend, who's deceiving who here? Whether treasure or control, everything boils down to money. Your man Oyedepo said the government was jealous of the prosperity of the church. So what does that tell you about the crux of his outrage?

Is such not operational in some other nations where his church branches are? So why all the fuss about the same happening here in Nigeria?

If you spent as much time defending Jesus as you do these modern day Pharisees, you'd be in a much better place. If you can't clearly see the rot in the church, then you really have to ask yourself some questions.
Mention one church that doesn't run with money.

Every man's ministry isn't the same size. Some will need a 50,000 seater hall. Others will need just 100 MB per month. Ministry is different from ministry.

1,200-Year Old Cross Found In Pakistan Implies Christianity Was There 'Before Islam Came'

A giant cross estimated to be at least 1,200 years old has been discovered in the mountains of Pakistan and could include hints of Christianity’s early presence there.

The marble rock cross, weighing three to four tons and spanning seven feet from top to bottom, was found by a team from the University of Baltistan, Skardu in the Himalayan mountains near Baltistan, according to Union of Catholic Asian News.

Researchers discussed the findings at a press conference in mid-June.

Bordered by Afghanistan, Iran, India and China, Pakistan is a majority Muslim country, with more than 96 percent of its citizens practicing Islam.

Caritas Pakistan, a Catholic organization, celebrated the find.

“It is indeed great news for all of us that an ancient cross was found in Skardu,” said Mansha Noor, executive director of Caritas Pakistan. “It shows that Christianity existed in this area and there must be a church and houses of Christians. There are currently no Christian families in that area, but they were once present.

“I request the authorities invite international historians to find out more about the accurate history of the cross.”

Christians in Pakistan frequently face persecution for their faith. Byzantine history expert Béatrice Caseau told Barnabus Fund the cross could be evidence that Middle East merchants brought the gospel to the region.

"Even if we lack the sources to know with certainty where they passed, we know that Christians from the Persian world, using the Syriac language, came to the Indus region between the fifth and eighth centuries, until the arrival of Islam,” Caseau said.

One Pakistani Christian leader told Barnabus Fund, “Praise the Lord, this makes me very joyful. It will be a great encouragement to Christians in Pakistan to show that our faith was here many, many generations ago, before Islam came. This is amazing news! I am looking forward to what the research outcome will reveal about Christianity in Pakistan.”

in the past, institutions, edifices , streets are usually named after individuals when they left offices or died. Now individuals holding top positions in society are using instruments of state to name institutions etc after themselves while still holding offices.
An institute named after the man who couldn't do his job. It tells us a lot.

The insurgency is a scheme to draw a parallel between ND amnesty while advancing the core northern agenda of domination. They wipe out minority tribes and settlements to simulate insecurity while demanding development.
It is meant to make it look so much like the ND struggle.

Buratai knows this and his hustling to be immortalized instead of doing what will earn him a genuine immortalization. He knows they struggle is simulated and isn't one to be won but exploited.

naija go better... Only if the youth go channel all the energy way dem dey use for bigotry and tribalism to counter corrupt politicians
This whole insurgency thing is a big set up.

To start with, the insurgency began after Yar' Adua gave the greenlight to ND amnesty and has slowly metamorphosed from a religious right/secession struggle into one for poverty alleviation and development just like the ND own.

It is an attempt at further transferring ND wealth to developed the north.

It make no sense to reject the foundation of development - education, in exchange for the fruits of education - development. It is a big contradiction.
