Yeah am pretty sure, angels from heaven come down to build those megs branches & edifices that keep springing up in every part of this country & abroad which by d way are own by the church.

I guess dat politician who pays over a million naira monthly as tithe is also an angel from heaven, so does emeka who pays over 300k monthly, I assume you get d picture right grin
Read Galatians 6:6 and cure some ignorance sir. There is something some persons call the prophet's seed. One of the way God has structured connection to His prophets is via communicating all good things to them and
we all known money answereth to all things or in lay man's term, money is the exchange medium of all good things.
So the summary is this, even some known pastors you call GO who aren't under Oyedepo ministries, pay seeds to him regularly.
That's why I laugh when folks are crying over tithe. If you know what some people pay as prophet's seed alone, you may overheat your brain in 5 minutes.

That Abuja-Nassarawa road suffers from heavy traffic jam daily with no end in sight, adding a university there will only increase the suffer Nigerians go through in that axis.

It's called leveraging on other people's money to get rich. Most rich people do that. Some with bank loans, venture capital, etc. Oyedepo is leveraging on Church members tithes and offerings to achieve his dreams and vision.
Stop intellectualizing spiritual matters man. You may end up overheating your own brain.

NGO opening 40 accounts?

If they chase away all NGOs from the North East and face Boko Haram squarely, the insurgency would be over within a month.

NGOs in the North East treat Boko Haram manners wounded in combat. They treat those caught.

Imagine a Boko ram caught alive.
Medecins Sans Frontiers treat the Boko ram
Advocats Sans Frontiers represent them in court
Amnesty International agitate for their release
Unicef takes care of children of dead Boko rams

But see what our soldiers are going through. Mention a single NGO catering to children of deceased soldiers.

A University graduate who speaks Hausa, Kanuri or Fulfulde can get a job paying 500k with an NGO in Maiduguri. Its a source of lush pay to indigenes and they too don't want it to end. Borno has the third highest paying jobs in Nigeria courtesy of NGOs.

NGOs don't want the conflict to end because they get grants and donations which must keep flowing. For it to keep flowing, Boko has to keep killing.
hmmm

Pressure was mounted on the church to build it in Abuja so the capital city can have a world class university

FG you people cannot build your own world class university??
They have UI already but they refuse to hold the people there accountable.

I think that request was made during Professor Julius Okogie's time as NUC's head under Goodluck's administration. Okogie and Okebukola who headed NUC during Gej and Obj era respectively liked the living faith education model...

However bishop's recent political alignment with opposition parties will certainly discourage NUC's current leadership from being overtly supportive.
Buhari loves the north so much and I am sure he will subdue all those to allow his beloved north have something worthwhile.

Who told u there was fruit juice in the dinning table that Jesus used?
Please read Mark 14:24-25.
After he gave them the cup to drink, He said He will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day. The fruit of the vine is modern day equivalent of natural juice. He blesses it and gave to the disciples as His blood.

Try to make one's PhD perfect and delaying one's self for 22yrs is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. Even if Zubair was trying to win a maths award, he could have gotten his PhD and then released a paper afterwards. This does not make an iota of sense.

Try to point out the flaws of the police force, police men will start getting defensive and start talking like the police is full of integrity and the bad eggs are a very negligible minority or non-existent at all.
Try to point out the sexual harassment in the medical community, doctors and nurses will start getting defensive and start talking like the medical community is perfect in integrity and the bad eggs are a very negligible minority or non-existent at all.
Try to point our the flaws in university system, especially the bullying and sadism by academic staffs, the staff will start getting defensive and start talking like the university is full of integrity and the bad eggs are a very negligible minority or non-existent at all.

I don't believe a damn of what this lecturer is saying. undecided

But should I expect any less from an Oyedepo convert/fanatic?

If I ask you to prove the emboldened, you will start running from pillar to post, shouting up and down without actually saying anything.

Go and sit down jare. Which sprinkling? Where did you get your balderdash from? Or is it part of the occult practices in your shrine?
Show me one place where it is unequivocally clear that Jesus did what you quoted.

but knowing the first rate charlatan that you are, I know it will end in a rigmarole

The beauty of Christianity is diminishing gradually because we depend so much on our outwardly look why our inner beauty and inner man is corrupt. in churches now they don't see envy, greediness, backstabbing, gossiping, selfishness and mocking the fellow member as an evil . the only sin the churches recognised now are formication and adultery what about the rest? hypocrites and Pharisees have taken over the pulpit of Christ.
The church is now a social gathering for most and it serves more as a meeting place for men than a meeting place for the divine or supernatural.
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Anoints Members With Soft Drinks As Nigerians React by CodeTemplar: 10:03am On Apr 09, 2019
The pastor is probably being unnecessarily sensational about blood of sprinkling.
In the bible, Jesus used the fruit juice in the dining table as a symbol of His blood and blessed it accordingly. The blood of sprinkling is probably being recreated by the pastor in a sensational way here, so I won't jump to condemn him.

Many big dicks are not natural some are but many are not. Why do you think we have many sex enhancement drugs and kit everywhere?
The quest for big dícks is triggered by mass fornication in the society.
Tell me, If one man and one woman meet as virgins the way God has ordained it, will they miss any dìck never really tasted? Never!
Many a time, what we tag as maturity is actually retardation and perversion.
Big Dicks are invented by fornication.

Look, according to the 2009 ASUU/FG agreement, universites need at least 1.5 trillion in EXTRA funding per annum to be 'adequately funded'

Since 2009, more government universites have been set up, and the amount should now be 3 trillion in extra funding.

It costs N1 trillion to fund our national assembly, and possibly 500m for ASO rock.

Assuming we want to cut costs, we would at best get 750million from that.

And at the end of the day, we still have to fund primary and secondary schools. And polytechincs and colleges of education.

See the problem?
Saying universities need N1.5Tr is like saying basket needs more water.

Yes it is better than churning half baked graduates. So what do you suggest anyway?
I suggest the student be made to pay half of what goes into their education. University education isn't polytechnic or technical college education and therefore not as practical-oriented as most Nigerians expect it to be. Let polytechnics too improve also. many things worrying Nigeria education system.

None but education then was better off. No crowding of students in class, some students eat free meal daily, the hostels were good. Instead of the government establishing more federal or state universities as the case may be, they should have upgraded the existing ones.
Let's be honest, those good old days of freebies are gone forever.
If they should admit few students on order to preserve those privileges then many people will seat at home. in fact profs will be organizing jamb lessons because it will become much more lucrative.

Subventions cannot be stopped in Nigeria unless students pay between 800k - 1million Naira per session. That's the fact!
Your estimate isn't far from mine but the schools need to be accountable for the around 300k they are getting per student.
When they become more efficient and transparent then I can support the idea of student being made to cough out huge sums of money.
Let every school be accountable to all students and the public at large and let's see what they spend their money on.
