Gerrard59: As much as he has a point, we don't need the government to abdicate its responsibility to provide quality education. Other than the US, every sane country's best universities are public not private.
Nigerians need to hold her leaders accountable to provide funding to the public education sector. Abdicating the responsibility of providing quality education to the private sector is not a good thing. Let the public sector account for that which they are currently receiving. What is so secretive about university funding they are all hiding? Even Harvard and other top universities give account to donors how they spend what is donated. Let our schools do same and let's see what is being funded you can't hide your dealing from your sponsors and expect more fund from them. |

If 10-15% of your students cannot make a first class, then the school should be ashsmed of itself
But Nigerians take pride in foolishness sha; that is why we are having the problems we have (like a lecturer being proud of himself that almost half of the students failed his course )

Khaleell001: Bigots everywhere.
You can't deny a young lady her right simply because she is putting on an apparel that does not suit your jaundiced mode of dressing or have Jamb forgotten Muslims females don't expose themselves? Are we not Nigerians to call for this sort if discriminatory stance.
I know many incurable loud mouthed bigots from the other side will want to have a filled day.
We will defend our rights as muslims and there's nothing a billion of your insults and labels can do to us. Will a Muslim girl be wrong if she removes her hijab in fire outbreak in order to escape or aid escape? JAMB is not your private entity sane way a military checkpoint or border patrol checkpoint isn't your private property. so if you won't resist removing your hijab in a checkpoint why refuse in JAMB exam hall? You guys are quick to the forget the context of and reason for commandments |

asuustrike1: This hjab thing is controversial. Jamb didn't ban the use of hjab. The invigilator knows what to do instead of sending that kid anyway. The kid equally knew what to do. Hijab is there for a purpose - to conceal beauty and reduce temptation, while the JAMB invigilator too had a purpose for requiring no hijab also which is to avoid any surprises in the exam. That was a perfect situation for the girl to remove her hijab as other student where focused on exams and there was no sexual threat around her. Don't muslims open their hijab in border inspection routine when travelling? How do they get husbands self? This is just one of their senseless excesses. Does hijab even make one holy or holier? |

Bilyonaire: Amen! That is very true, no doubt... However do you not think that it is worth trying to understand the principles and even revelations that have set him on this course. I like to understand particularly spiritually things because it's the Holy Spirit behind them. Once you get what Pastor Adeboye calls "the spiritual mathematics" of an issue then you're set to walk in that very thing and this is what I want. No one would argue that the church growth experienced by both the RCCG and LFC are supernatural and yet both leaders still host church growth summits to reveal the inner workings of this supernatural power.
Brother, much more than just admiring men like the Bishop; I want to emulate them. This is why I'm humbly asking and enquiring of you, HigherEd and anyone else who might have more intimate knowledge. I simply want, for the glory of God, to replicate the good I see in men like the Bishop. His books are also good ways to know more about his ministry and habits that have helped him become productive. Even his tapes and clips are equally as enlightening as the books. Just hit the church channel on YouTube and you see tons of them there. |

Bilyonaire: Not a problem, sir. Don't you think that less than 4 hours is far too little, even for the Bishop? My understanding is that he works the same amount everyday and so when would he ever have time to spend with his wife and the rest of his family? I would've thought that he drinks coffee or some sort of stimulant to help him stay awake but I've heard him debunk that theory. My question then is, how does he do it? What's his secret? Some people aren't on a natural level but supernatural level. |
