I don't seem to understnd the problem here. You have been blessed with God's special gift of a child yet you find it difficult to make a decision regarding this special and rare gift? Whose interest is paramount to you? The househlp or your infant? This is preposterous! Madam, find a creche in your hood and leave this child in the care of capable hands. The young girl with you is enough to assist you. Be wary of bringing in strangers into your home. A word is enough for the wise. A woman who could not take care of her children but kept losing them is not the best help for your precious infant.

2. The will call u in when it is your turn
3. U will get your docs pre screened at the first port of call, next u go for visa fees payment(within the same hall)
4. Finally u do biometrics.
T hey will give u your instruction date, meaning that your docs will be dispatched to the embassy, but, will not be processed until the date on your instruction sheet, from the instr. date u will still need to add 10 days before your decision from them.

Note: If you had planned to travel in may or june 2013, don`t bother to go their because the ealiest intruction date is already at earlier july 2013. This is realy crazy, french embassy will hold your docs for 2months b4 u get thier decision.


I was there to submit on 29th April, the instruction date given to me is june 24th, i had planned to travel by 1st July, see me see wahala oooo.

I was also there on the 29th of April foe submission and biometrics. Instruction date was 24th June. I intend to travel July 1st. However, I went ahead to submit because my Husband and Children need to attend a wedding in France. I got a text message on 13/05/13 which is just two weeks after to come for collection. We were all given multiple visas. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Your computer is not java script enabled. Why don't you move to a better system? You will also not be able to fill the forms online if your system is not pdf enabled.

@EMAUSA: all ur docs should be arranged according to ur checklist. For example, proof of finacial requirement(bank statements, scholarship or employment letter, payslips etc should be scanned as one file. The biz centre pple know how to do this using their scanner. The cic pages have also provided specifications of the sizes(4mb max.) and type of doc(pdf, word,Jpeg etc.that the online app system accepts. If your link is slow, u will probably need to use a computer with better speed. the pages easily times out. Good luck.

Am using the online application, and i want to know, shld i download the application forms , fill it, print it, sign it and then upload it to MyCIC. Or is ther a way i can send the already filled application forms to MyCIC acct witout printing it out??.

Have you started the online application process? If yes, then you must have your checklist. Use your checklist. U can't go wrong with it. As for the forms, fill them in and upload. No need to print them out or sign them. You will be required to sign your forms at the end of the entire process online. Hope this helps.

I think Sampitts has. Need to go back to the earlier pages to confirm. I applied Last Friday and received a notification in my e-mail box that my application has been sucessfully submitted. Same message in MyCIC page. I am praying and hoping for the best.
