now that i have got the SA tourist visa cant i see place to stay in order to hustle there? any link pls.My friend, how i wish i can link you up but definitely not for this purpose of visit because you will end up being a liability to pple and turn into crime. For your information don't try to overstay because no more asylum for Nigerians. If you like yourself visit and come back home or forget SA. If you need first hand info, I can give you contacts of some stranded nairaland members (male & female) in SA maybe you will change ur mind by the time they narrate their experience. I support this BUT needs lotta attentionSomehow, I promise to be part of the verification process and in my own case the verification process will take different dimensions. I don't wanna start highlighting how the verification process will be like, it will just be like giving an expo out to the them (Agents) if i start explaining the process here. @JW, i will send you an mail explaining some of these processes procedures. First and foremost, all interested Travel Agency who wish to partner with Nairaland Travel Section forum must comply with the highlighted requirements then the verification process will start. 01) Their full names. 02) Their business details. (Very important) 03) Their telephone numbers (if applicable). 04) Their mobile numbers. (very important) 05) Their email addresses. (very important) 06) Their office / home addresses. (very very important) 07) Their website (if applicable). (very important) 08) The full picture of business owner (MD, CEO) Very very important) 09) Registration Certificates, probably sent to any of the mod or super mod for verification (Screening process) Meanwhile, all interested partners must fulfil all listed requirements, and will be verified before such business partner will be announced success and given NLTL (Nairaland Travel Licence) to operate and their activities will be monitored regularly. I think I have to differ from this suggestion. Auto business is different from travel agency business in the perspective I will be looking at it. Vehicle or the parts are more of physical things you will like to see before you buy them but Visa or even flight ticket is more of abstract when you cannot verify it until you use it or got to your proposed destination.I think there should be clear distinction btw what Siena is suggesting and what pple are mistaking it for. I am sure there is a difference btw "Travel Agent" who handles flight booking and ticketing, travel consultation, hotel reservation and booking and those whose main aim is to procure visa or get fake documents for pple which leading to scamming most of the time. If i am not not mis-interpreting Siena's advice, i think it will help and it's good idea, a way forward on travel section to know some pple with legitimate business in this Travel Agency Services. 01) Their full names. In addition to this, we will as well require: 08) The full picture of business owner (MD, CEO) 09) Registration Certificates, probably sent to any of the mod or super mod for verification Gbammmmmmmmmmm over and out |
Flag this messageI don't think there is any German Universities offering complete tuition free but you can get cheap tuition where you will pay btw 300 - 1000 euros per semester. The school was stopped from validating degrees in other Universities and Centres within and outside UKIn that case, I think the school still validates degrees for students within its jurisdiction and University of wale Campus? At the same time, I think the process is to trim down the sudden huge population of over 70,000 students within and overseas and make its certification worthwhile? Gbammmmmm over and out |

Does anybody know the route to take when travelling by road to east africa from nigeria?i want to go on an adventure by road to east africa.i also seek for adventurers too.please i need your reply if you have any clue about this journey.the challenges, the hot and not about this trip.lets go there,I wonder why you want to go on adventure from Nigeria to East Africa by road? Personally, i will advice you not to embark on such journey because it will be too dangerous and risky. You will need to cross about three countries before you can get to where you are going: Nigeria - Cameroon - Central African Republic - South Sudan - (Ethiopia, Kenya or Uganda). See below maps and try to consider the kind of suffering you will undergo before getting to your destination. Gbammmmm over and out

@Omo oso, If you don get S.A Visa, na to find cheap Ticket buy. This is the way to go about it. Book your ticket to Johannesburg, you will get a cheap hotel there, within the range of 5 - 7 thousand naira for the J'bourg city. Then buy their news paper that comes out every Thursday, you would see first hand legit news paper that comes with different apartment advertisement for rent, for sell. You must ask around, and always behave well. RSA is a good place once you are calmed and determined. Then once you arrive, you enter hotel there and you pay for like 4days, then you go fit enter the ground know what's up for you there. Many Nigerians are buying up many houses and businesses in Johannesburg and Capetown and even Pretoria now. Nor let wetin happen to you at Crystal Service weigh you down, what if he true before, u come get plane crash? God knows best for you.Hmmmm, nice write-up and thanks for the encouragement but you did not tell the poster many things involve in work permit issue because it's easier said than done. I don't think the poster can get a work permit easily like that with the plan to be a barber in SA. You did not tell him many things involved in work permit procurement. @poster, 1. I will not deceive you, if you want to get a work permit in SA, you must have a job offer from a reliable SA company or organization 2. You must pay repatriation fee as a foreigner (110k in naija or 7000rand in SA) 3. You must get health Insurance from the approve SA Health Care accepted by the Home Affairs (I think you can get 3000rand HI for six for your application 4. Your certificates must be evaluated by the SAQA before you can get any job 5. You must be financially buoyant. On the other hands, agents may promise to get it for you but i will be sincere with you, they will end up getting you fake permit and put you into trouble after collecting your money. Naijas still rule SA to some extent in terms of criminal activities such as drug, yahoo, forgery etc Now that you don't have anybody in SA, i will give you my sincere advice which is for you to terminate your dream of going to SA to hustle. Don't let the pain of Crystal Scam land you in abase of regret and more pains. Think twice and make hay while the sun is still shinning. Gbammmmmmmm over and out |

If i got you right, i understand that every information that you gave corresponds with the bio-data of your current passport except for the Day, the Month and the Year of birth; so, that makes it impossible for you to apply as a fresh applicant.Honestly, this is a serious case which may not likely be taken with leniency in UK Embassy due to the rampant fake docs and identity paraded by most Nigerian applicants these days. To be sincere with the OP, Vicjustice has said it all, because cases like this need legal back up in which Age Declaration Affidavit will serve the purpose but in addition to it, i think you can as well attach a letter with details or reasons for the differences in your DOB, this is because your application can end up in the hands of wicked VO who will not even schedule you for interview but the affidavit attached to a letter can go along way of speaking to the heart of the VO and get convinced. Above all, pray and God will make a way. Gbammmmmmmm over and out |
Yes you are right. I 100% agree with you. One of my greatest concern is the level of poverty that leads to desperation. Our nation have strive where others have failed. But one thing is worth taking note of. The level of brainwashing and intimidation from the few in government can not be over emphasized. You can see what is happening in U.S and Canada, The match to wall street. Nigerians are so afraid of death, they can not do simple protest they are easily intimidated and do not believe in hard work.Yes you are right, nobody wants to stand to what they believe, many prefer to die in silence and that is why many will never return because of fear of the unknown and many at home will never do anything. While the major challenge for those intending to go back home is not readjustment, but trust and the level of greed. When you arrive through the airport, what is in the mind of every common Niaja is that you have brought the money and everyone is devising a method to take their share from you.The societal morals have been damaged seriously and nothing seems bad in the faces of many Nigerians, the law is no longer effective, everybody wants to make it through shortcut, the level of corrupt practices is highly pervasive. To some extent, i think the bolded portion of your comment will heal the menace if generally planned and executed for many Nigerians who are not greedy. You can not establish a business and entrust someone there while you travel abroad, If you are not careful, your capital will be gone not to talk about profit. However, re-engineering and re-orientating people is needed. We all need to make those that serve us realize that we can do and undo by ejecting them when ever they are not performing through peaceful dedicated protest and our vote. Until we can do that, The few in power will continue to take us for a ride.Hmmmmmmmmmmm, you are right. Gbammmm over and out |
There is no cause for alarm. Its very difficult with extended family to return to naija, no doubt. That area of your concern needs clarity: what i meant is, If we have a good country, perhaps i will talk less to make a conviction that Nigeria is home and should be home to all. How many Americans, Britons, Germans and other western countries citizens crave desperately to leave their country, Very few except for business or persecution . If you are going with the intent of coming back to Nigeria yes its good, But the desperation of leaving because of believing that naija can never be a good place or there is no greener pasture should be address collectively by creating jobs for ourselves and doing more as a citizen than the government.Your point is well understood but wasn't really expressed in simple form like this, I know where you are coming from and i know where you are going. I understand many do not have any genuine reason for travelling, many believe going abroad is a surety for making it in life, while many believe naija cannot be a better place and that is why many fall victims to cheap scam all over the country. If you will agree with me that the present problem of Nigeria today is not the fault of one person but a collective one because in one way or the other we are responsible for one thing or the other either individually or collectively. In a situation like this only one man cannot right the wrong of Nigeria. I wonder why everybody is shouting the name of Government, who are the Government? We! Only that we have wicked, selfish and irresponsible leaders. Do you believe that the people referred to as Government by many (I mean our representatives) only occupy about 5% of the Nigeria population? Why can't other 95% try to portray quality of a good Nigerian but rather contribute to the menace and damage in the country and to the image of the country? To make Nigeria a better place, our orientations have to change, our mindsets have to be reformed, and we have to forget what our country can do for us but what we can do to help our nation in every ramification. Let's take for instance if you return home and God bless and you are able to put up a business, i can assure you that some who have plan to travel abroad to hustle can bury their plan if given a good job with better pay, with this you have done your part to help Nigeria as a nation in job creation and help your fellow Nigerians as well. Such is life! Gbammmmmmmm over and out |
@collinsfbi,I didn't talk abt anything deception and i didn't say you have returned home fully, i only said: "Initially, you know I was thinking he has returned home finally"I guess you misquoted me. One thing you have to note is that you can only drag a horse to the river bank, you cannot force its to drink thereof. It's your choice to return home and i pray you will find solace and peace in naija but do you know you cannot force your children to return with you? I have an uncle who planned to return home since 2002 but all his children refused to return with him having visited naija once and were all displeased with the situation and condition of naija, though all his children were given birth to in the UK and they are so much used to the life style over there. Do you know that this person later change his mind but visit naija often and spend more time in naija than UK because of his business and other related issues? It's a nice plan to return home after so much years abroad but what i was only against in your thread was the general believe that Nigerians should rather stay back instead of travelling abroad no matter the reasons for embarking on such journey. dunno y all dese ppl spend so much moni 2 go dere n get dere assses all burnt wen u cld mk use of dat moni wisely down ereTo me, it's ignorance and at the same time many were brainwashed without taken their time to find out the truth and the right processes involving in securing canadian visas. hello NL anybody with useful information about study in iceland should post it plese? If you don't mind leaving your email here so that i can send you some attachments (too big to be uploaded) but only on University of Iceland. Besides, for some years now, there has been unbridled denial for many applicants from Nigeria, notwithstanding, that should not discourage you because you could be favoured despite the rampant denial given to prospective Nigerian applicants. You can also check here: www.hi.is/en You can also check here for previous comments on UI: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-715857.0.html Good luck! Gbammmmmm over and out |
Oh ok!! are u also Podonasmit?I think they are different posters, Hello Swagdude,So Podonasmit is far from the shore of naija with his lovely family and he's try to advice pple not to travel abroad in his thread created sometimes ago, lol. I thought as much, anyway returning home is a good decision but it must be planned carefully and executed gradually. Gbammmmmmmm over and out |

I rather take your words than those lying fools who have being deceiving themselves from day one here. How can anybody trust NAPTIP? The same NATIP that worked with CS to make the scam look genuine.I think you are right, 350naira is notin though is real money when generated in situation like this but nevertheless, i appeal to every applicants to just go ahead and move on with your lives. I want you all to always remember that everything works in naija even many pastor nowadays are scammers so what do you all expect from ordinary Naptip. Abegi, go and collect your PP or leave it. Good luck! Gbammmmmmmmm over and out |
@all If the 350 naira is not actually part of collection process then it's all well and good. I as a person, personally, i don't trust 95% of Nigerians even my blood brother because i know what we are capable of at any level not to talk of Government officials. On the other hand, i personally mention Mariofemi's name because no matter his efforts now, he cannot right the wrong and damage done to many so far. I was not there to confirm the 350 naira issue, i only quote the comment of Risk2get and that is all. At the same time, I don't want to mention names but I sincerely appeal to everybody to let go of every personal grudges we have in mind and let's go ahead. I believe so much in forgiveness and newness of life as long as many can let go of their past and turn a new leaf. Don't be surprise seeing me closer to my worst enemy and saying goodbye to my best friend if found dirty. Such is life! the beauty of life is never how happy you are but how happy others can be because you are always there for them no matter what. Gbammmmmmmm over and out |
Everything works in naija, that is why it's easier to make money in naija, 90% of pple who make it in naija either doing business or Govt workers, make it through legal and illegal ways and no qualms. Take it or leave! Gbammmm over and out |
I wonder why people fail to understand that getting an affidavit is a due process in our quest to get our pp back. Those that collected today should let us know if they pay the money to naptip or high court purse. There is no form of due processing in this procedure Mr man. Why affidavit? why not other means of identification? You claim to be helping others in getting their PP, now i can understand something is wrong somewhere. I can assure everybody here that the 350 naira in question for the affidavit or no affidavit is a pure plan organised by Naptip in conjunction with court officials or even mariofemi himself to get something into their pocket. Do you think the affidavit cost will be remitted to the Govt purse? Many affidavit fees cannot be accounted for, in most case from experience, it's usually being shared. Take it or leave, this is Nigeria. Gbammmmmmmm over and out |
More than 8600 names were pasted and my friends could not find their names. Now applicants are asked to pay #350 to collect their passports. and b4 that, all applicants are asked to bring along them an affidavit, a form of identification,a passport photograp and the above mention money which was not stated in their memo. If you could remember, NAPTIP earlier said, no money will be asked to collect passport. I believe this is the resurrection of CS. NAPTIP asking for #350 from frustrated applicants to collect their PP. Maybe CANIMSERV is the immigration officer that attended the seminar at UNILAG? @Justwise,maybe you should ask him. Because, i no longer understand him! All assurance was given by this same CANIMSERV that if it turns to be scam that all applicants PP and the money spent will be recovered that him along with his colleagues are working seriously toward it. Some nairalanders were even thanking him and he have the bone to stand on Nairaland and say other rubbish. The only person i can praise here, be he scammer or not is JUSTWISE. he has being fight to stop some applicant right from the beginning of this topic on this forum. To me, Mariofemi is an ! a shameless GOAT calling himself a Father! Mariofemi is a member of this scam! He have his reasons for not running away like the others.Nigeria will always be Nigeria and Nigerians will always be Nigerians anywhere on this planet. Look at another means of extortion (350 x 8600 plus = 3million plus) Oh my God, this is just not fair. Naptip or no Naptip, 350 or not, corruption is second name of Nigeria because you can never get any assistance free from any Govt parastaters in Nigeria anywhere you find yourself. Don’t be surprise that pple who are try to help will also device a means of getting something into their pocket, that is Nigeria for you and that is why Nigeria will keep growing from smelling to decaying. Every day we point accusing fingers to the Govt, then who is the Govt? My advice to all applicants is to go ahead and collect their pp and move on with your lives. Funny enough, when i came here on 11th Sept 2011 with my findings of total number of applicants as 8000 plus, some useless maggots disagreed while some even insulted me, all the same I will always remain myself no matter what. Thank God the list is finally out and many applicants will definitely get their PP notwithstanding, some will never see their PP again, it’s not a curse but that is always the end result in situation like this to some fateful pple because no matter what I am sure some PPs will be misplaced. Gbammmmmmmmm over and out |
@Justwise Honestly I am very happy for you and the entire members including visitors on travel section. I know you can do it even better than how it was, therefore, i give you my 100% support. Gbammmmmmmmm over and out |
