I think I have to differ from this suggestion. Auto business is different from travel agency business in the perspective I will be looking at it. Vehicle or the parts are more of physical things you will like to see before you buy them but Visa or even flight ticket is more of abstract when you cannot verify it until you use it or got to your proposed destination.
And the situation Nigeria is today, recommending any travel agent or visa agent may not be the right thing to do. 419ners have physical address and their business registered.  There are a lot of people who are desperate to leave Nigeria at all cost.
The Canadian visa agent I heard about here in this forum advertised some media in Nigeria which made some people to believe and trust them.

If the German University requires the certification of your Nigerian University documents, this can be done at the Consulate. I have, however, no information on German Universities whic offer free tuition.

In the Auto section, there was a thread started, whereby all dealers (and regular traders of parts, accessories etc) were invited to email the Moderators with the following information:

01) Their full names.
02) Their business details.
03) Their telephone numbers (if applicable).
04) Their mobile numbers.

07) Their website (if applicable).

This call for compliance was by no means mandatory, but it allowed for more confidence and transparency in traders. There was a deadline for compliance, those that failed to comply were still allowed to trade, but of course, potential buyers were able to draw their own conclusions for non-compliance.

Those that supply the requested data can be announced at a later date. The Travel section needs this mare than the Auto section, seeing as there are more sharks trawling the murky waters. Those that advertise as "Ticket" or "Travel Agents" can also supply their Certificates of Accredition. Travel Agents definitely have to be registered, those self-styled ones are simply con artists looking to ensnare the unwary. "Visa Agents" are con artists, and threads offering such services should be deleted. Unverified persons leaving their details to be contacted off the boards, should be viewed as suspicious. More so, if someone opens a thread, asking for advice, and these unverified persons leave their details, saying "call me," or "email me."

This is my take on things.

@Omo oso, If you don get S.A Visa, na to find cheap Ticket buy. This is the way to go about it. Book your ticket to Johannesburg, you will get a cheap hotel there, within the range of 5 - 7 thousand naira for the J'bourg city. Then buy their news paper that comes out every Thursday, you would see first hand legit news paper that comes with different apartment advertisement for rent, for sell. You must ask around, and always behave well. RSA is a good place once you are calmed and determined. Then once you arrive, you enter hotel there and you pay for like 4days, then you go fit enter the ground know what's up for you there. Many Nigerians are buying up many houses and businesses in Johannesburg and Capetown and even Pretoria now. Nor let wetin happen to you at Crystal Service weigh you down, what if he true before, u come get plane crash? God knows best for you.

About Work Permit: All work permit can be done at the office of Home Affairs in Pretoria when you reach there. You just need to say one or two things, or use an agent to do am, but originally, I know that the price is between R500 rands. Which is about 10,000 naira 9ja money. But some long throat agent go charge you up to R7,000 rands, about 140K 9ja, so once you fit enter South Africa, go Pretoria yourself, which is about 40mins drive from Jbourg, there are public Taxis that would take you there for about 50rands or so. Or you take a cab straight, for about 300 - 350rands. Walk into the office, dem go do am for you. Nigerians in RSA get better chance for Home Affairs in RSA in getting a work permit here.

Job's are here once you are serious to work, after you have your permit. You can open up a Babrbing salon, and they barb one hair, 800naira, you fit dey barb up to 10hairs or less a day, you can just be creative and make money here. 9ja rule this place here, the crimes committed mainly in RSA is not committed by Nigerians mainly, but Zimbabwe and other countries close to RSA men. Crime rate in Jo'bourg has gone down very much. I have given you first hand confirmed information, and others who wish to enter RSA can use it too. Destiny na by choice, nor be by Church. If i got you right, i understand that every information that you gave corresponds with the bio-data of your current passport except for the Day, the Month and the Year of birth; so, that makes it impossible for you to apply as a fresh applicant.
Now, if you are thinking you would "come clean", it is important to bear in mind that Embassy is not a Church that believes in the forgiveness of sins, rather, it is a section under a political system that is set to regulate rules and protocol, to ensure observance of laws and conducts and to serve for justice (no matter how old the offence may be); and therefore, they are not in position to forgive but rather to implement rules.
There is no way you can "come clean" in this because, according to regulation (even before the 10 years ban came to existence), you would be deemed unworthy of a UK visa.
But yet, that is not the end of the road, therefore, i'll give you a honest advice. Now, you know your personal circumstances and financial stance; so, if you know that you are a financially struggling someone, then avoid making visa application because, if you do, you will be getting yourself into serious trouble as your past will definitely be visited on your presence, and that would mean: either you have tried in the past to obtain a UK visa by means of deception or you are being deceptive in your current application which may then result in your ban.
Now, my suggestion: do not apply for the UK visa if your economical or financial circumstances are not super impressive, but if they are, then go for Age Declaration Affidavit and then, go and confidently make the visa application. You would be call for interview to explain the discrepancies in your Date Of Births, and that is where you'd have the chance to clear your name explaining how that unscrupulous agent got you into that mess, and the Visa Officer will then see you as that desperate guy who has now transformed into a responsible someone of calibre with class; and if your financial circumstance speaks for you, you would definitely be given a second chance.

Yes you are right. I 100% agree with you. One of my greatest concern is the level of poverty that leads to desperation. Our nation have strive where others have failed. But one thing is worth taking note of. The level of brainwashing and intimidation from the few in government can not be over emphasized. You can see what is happening in U.S and Canada, The match to wall street. Nigerians are so afraid of death, they can not do simple protest they are easily intimidated and do not believe in hard work.

While the major challenge for those intending to go back home is not readjustment, but trust and the level of greed. When you arrive through the airport, what is in the mind of every common Niaja is that you have brought the money and everyone is devising a method to take their share from you.
You see in my 8 months visit, it was like a training for me. Where people know that you might be wasting your money, they will encourage you to spend money in hope that they will get their Eguje. The society is so fragile that the only way to heal the menace is through max employment that is rigid on salary good enough to meet basic needs and total eradication of kick back or Egunje.

You can not establish a business and entrust someone there while you travel abroad, If you are not careful, your capital will be gone not to talk about profit. However, re-engineering and re-orientating people is needed. We all need to make those that serve us realize that we can do and undo by ejecting them when ever they are not performing through peaceful dedicated protest and our vote. Until we can do that, The few in power will continue to take us for a ride.

There is no cause for alarm. Its very difficult with extended family to return to naija, no doubt. That area of your concern needs clarity: what i meant is, If we have a good country, perhaps i will talk less to make a conviction that Nigeria is home and should be home to all. How many Americans, Britons, Germans and other western countries citizens crave desperately to leave their country, Very few except for business or persecution . If you are going with the intent of coming back to Nigeria yes its good, But the desperation of leaving because of believing that naija can never be a good place or there is no greener pasture should be address collectively by creating jobs for ourselves and doing more as a citizen than the government.

There is no deception in my thread,  I never said i was home fully. However, i was recently in Nigeria for about 8 months to actualized my ultimate dream by fully returning home and that does not mean i will not travel out of Nigeria after my return. I am 100% in support of going back home and i will recommend that those that have seize to find pleasure outside the wall of Nigeria should return home and those longing to leave to reconsider.

I wonder why people fail to understand that getting an affidavit is a due process in our quest to get our pp back. Those that collected today should let us know if they pay the money to naptip or high court purse.

More than 8600 names were pasted and my friends could not find their names. Now applicants are asked to pay #350 to collect their passports. and b4 that,all applicants are asked to bring along them an affidavit, a form of identification,a passport photograp and the above mention money which was not stated in their memo. If you could remember, NAPTIP earlier said, no money will be asked to collect passport. I believe this is the resurrection of CS. NAPTIP asking for #350 from frustrated applicants to collect their PP. Maybe CANIMSERV is the immigration officer that attended the seminar at UNILAG? @Justwise,maybe you should ask him. Because, i no longer understand him! All assurance was given by this same CANIMSERV that if it turns to be scam that all applicants PP and the money spent will be recovered that him along with his colleagues are working seriously toward it. Some nairalanders were even thanking him  and he have the bone to stand on Nairaland and say other rubbish. The only person i can praise here, be he scammer or not is JUSTWISE. he has being fight to stop some applicant right from the beginning of this topic on this forum. To me, Mariofemi is an ! a shameless GOAT calling himself a Father! Mariofemi is a member of this scam! He have his reasons for not running away like the others.
