Doctor josemaria is back on track to find out the outcome of his divource ealier filed @ a court in miami. Hmmmm, it's getting more interesting everyday. |

Boko haram sect has stated the reasons for bombing Kano on Friday which claimed over 200 lives. Abul Qaqa who briefed journalist on a telephone interview yesterday said that the Boko haram sect struck the city to prove its capability to the security agents in Kano. Abul Qaqa stated that the security refused to listen when he warned that it would attack if its members who were held in custody were not released. He also added that Nigerian government would continue to pay for the oppression and killing of innocent Muslims in the country and would not relent in fighting for the rights of their members who were innocently held. “We are scared of no one but Allah”. We are guided and strengthened by Allah as you can see”. Jama’atu Ahlisunnah Lidda’awati Wal-Jihad, Boko haram’s real name warned in August last year that it would attack Kano State if the Security State Service (SSS) continues the hunt for its members. It alleged that its members were unjustly killed in Bauchi, Wudil, Gombe, Yobe and Maiduguri for sticking to the teachings of Quar’an and Hadith. Bellow are some of the pictures of the multiple attack

in addition to maclatunji's comment, it's good to write but when you are writing there are lot to be considered in bring out the beauty of your work. Your story is from the first person narrative and in a first-person narrative the story is relayed by a narrator who is also a character within the story, so that the narrator reveals the plot by referring to this viewpoint character as "I" (or, when plural, "we" . Often times, the first-person narrative is used as a way to directly convey the deeply internal, otherwise unspoken thoughts of the narrator. Frequently, the narrator's story revolves around him-/herself as the protagonist and allows this protagonist/narrator character's inner thoughts to be conveyed openly to the audience, even if not to any of the other characters. It also allows that character to be further developed through his/her own style in telling the story. First-person narrations may be told like third-person ones, with a person experiencing the story without being aware that they are actually conveying their experiences to an audience; on the other hand, the narrator may be conscious of telling the story to a given audience, perhaps at a given place and time, for a given reason. In extreme cases, the first-person narration may be told as a story within a story, with the narrator appearing as a character in the story. Moreover, you need to improve on your tenses and you can achieve this ultimately by regular reading and studying of English basic grammatical rules. e.g Verb 1 must equal to Verb 2 in complex sentences, plural nouns carry plural verb but with some exceptions. You also have to improve on your punctuations, it will help the readers to understand the tone of your work. There is a particular place you used the sound word *GBOS* with asterisk signs applied at both end. I don't think there is a need for asterisk sign, what you could have done is to put and exclamation mark (!) to express a sudden action. In other hand, the asterisk sign (*) is used in literature to indicate an omission, a reference to a footnote, or an unattested word, sound, affix or as an alternative to parenthetical references because it's a simpler way to acknowledge information gained from another source. Generally try as much as possible to make use of literary appreciations for readers to enjoy reading your work Gbammmm over and out |
wow, i have to leave dis country b4 Thursday wit jst 200k jfad lets do it together i already have someone that wanted to join in but i was thinking of the chad route and probably waiting till jan 28 or feb 15 and my own purpose is to get to egypt after having the visa and went to armenia embassy to apply legally to them i am not thinking any way of doing illegal things so if we are like 4 group or more it will be better and we can make the trip. If any member on nl want to join in they are welcome and we can make the trip but i am not in any way staying illegally in a country and would get an egyptian visa first before i want to make the trip and in term of money thinking i will advise anyone to hold only few amount for spending at borders etc and hold the remaining in credit card so any one interested. Loke1@yahoo.comAre you guys really wanna embark on this journey? was it because of subsidy removal or the general situation of the country @ d moment? who told you that you can't make it with or without subsidy? Staying and die in Nigeria is better than to die in one sahara desert, your lives are more precious than the way you are taken it. Though many have tried it and succeeded but you might not be fortunate it's not a curse. I will advise you to bury your plans and look out for what you can do to sustain yourselves. It is never a bad thing but what do you think will happen to the subsidized fund? How much is the salary of an average Nigerian? It is also an avenue for more money to be looted and hardship for the general masses. In respect to this, it would have been better if it was not removed. Now i know that some pple who supported this are actually out of their senses Gbammm over and out |
In Nigeria you should think yourself lucky, the price of fuel in most other countries on the planet is already double that of Nigeria even with the increase!!!I wouldn't wanna call you a fool anyway because you are totally out of touch as regards the problem an average Nigerian is facing. An average Nigerian is collecting 15k as minimum wage and now with subsidy removal every problem in Nigeria is multiply by two (2) because whatever happens to PMS affect every production and consumption in the country. There is no electricity in Nigeria and the only alternative power generator make use of fuel and many other aspect that depend on fuel. If i am to take a public bus to my office, i spent an average of 800 naira but with the current subsidy removal it has become #1600. If i go on personal car, i use an average of 10litres with the strategy of switching off and on at traffic points without AC. At home, I used an average of 4litres to run my light generating machine at night only and about 10litres on weekend days with the strategy of putting it off and on which now cost me #600@night only and #1500 during the day. With this calculation, an average Nigeria with 15k monthly salary will spend nothing less than #2200 on petrol alone without considering any other thing and you are saying Nigerians are very lucky? Now, with the subsidy removal, what do u think will happen to the 1.3 trillion subsidized fund? Do you think Nigeria will get better with this? Do you think the money will be used judiciously? You have made a mistake to have created this thread because you lack an insight to the problems of Nigeria. Gbammmmm over and out |

Let's be honest, Nigeria is a very hostile place to be as a writer- if you insist on relying on your writing alone as your source of income, you may end-up dying of hunger. Even Myne Whitman, our star poster in this section is based abroad.Hmmmm, i think you are right, it was just as if you are referring to me. I am a graduate in this field but in order to earn a living i decided to abandon my uncompleted works such as plays, novels, collection of poems, short stories, works on different magazines etc and take up a job in a shipping company, now i hardly have time for myself not to talk of writing, but i hope to be back fully soonest. I started the mag below in 2008 but due to many probs, we couldn't continue the production and that was how we stopped. Gbammm over and out

How much will it cost to get a work permit?I don't think money is the issue but if you able to provide proof as regards the following Offer of appointment A letter of motivation from the employer why a citizen / resident could not fill the position, accompanied by documentary proof of efforts made to obtain the services of a citizen or resident Proof of qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) Proof of registration with the professional body or board, if applicable Proof of experience and skills in line with the job offer The employer to submit a certification from the Department of Labour or an extraction from the database of a salary benchmarking organization detailing the average salary earned by employees fulfilling similar positions in the Republic with these, you are good to go @Dondav I don't know why you refuse to listen, you just want to cause heartache for yourself. First of all home affairs only grants work permits to people who already have job offers and the company that offers you a job must first prove that it couldn't find a South African who could do the job. Secondly, you will never be able to work 'honestly' to pay for your studies in SA. And thirdly, I've already told you that SA has 25% unemployment so what makes you think that you will arrive in SA and be preferred for a entry level job over the many millions of unemployed South Africans? Anyway, good-luck@paniki, thanks for more clarification Gbammmmmmmmm over and out |
