HNIC: He is still under contract with us.The worst possible scenario is to keep him for another one year, let him train with the reserves...and he could f*** off to any club he likes and earn whatever.keep him for another year and watch him walk free into another club? does that make any economic sense to wenger? van persie can sign a pre-contract agreement as early as december/january so it's delicately poised. i just wish another club can just come n sign the dude. i am not excited about this at all - van persie won't improve united unless wants to play him in evra's position! |
seedord247: Uk's illegal immigrant. E.g coogar and idowu. Make una dey hear before send una go oloja prison.no wonder people think you're a eunuch! it's impossible for you to think rationally....being conceived from a paraga-polluted womb was always going to affect your mental health! one has to be sorry for your bleak future! |
Donxavier: Anybody earning 150k or more monthly is earning a decent wage to live a meaningful life in Nigeria.150k/month is a decent wage in nigeria? you need at least a million naira per month income to live comfortably in nigeria. anything less is feeding from hand to mouth! |
ritchboy: This seems to be the general consensus among United fans. . . But if Danny Welbeck is your first choice striker, surely you could use a Van Persie!never knew rooney died of meningitis and chicharito moved to esperance of tunisia! |
debosky: Granted PSG has paid stoopid money for him, but even with him 'stinking the whole joint' Fergie still wanted him pretty badly to offer over £20m for a boy out of Brazil.wanted him pretty badly? i think not! Now Fergie's getting frustrated that Arsenal don't want to sell on the cheap? Nothing to be puzzled about Alex - if you pay £25m, Wenger will sell. The Frenchman only understands the language of money.i hope van persie moves elsewhere....we don't need his services. there's plenty of goals in the united team. the problem is the central midfield and the left back position. unless robin is going to play in jor hose positions, i don't think fergie is being wise unless of course fergie is just using these names as a smoke screen to sign an unearthed gem! |
proudly9ja: Anyways, from Fergie's statement, it looks like we have totally ignored their bid so RVP to United not looking likelyit's crazy man utd are actually interested in van persie....where would he play? the decision makers at old trafford need lobotomy! however, if van persie insists on leaving for man utd, then wenger's hands are tied cos of the "player power". arsenal are hoping he can go elsewhere but van persie is the sole determinant - he will play where he wants to play not where arsenal want him to... |
chaircover: Efe it was Naija. . . of course there are things that I dont want to disclose herewhy don't you wanna disclose? your information could help other victims of blackberry theft! it's not like there's a gagging order from any naija court. you got robbed and you are sharing your ordeal on a forum. chaircover, you must talk o - don't protect the culprit unless of course the culprit is a nairalander ----- now who on this forum is capable of stealing from you? it's mind boggling, isn't it? |
justwise:and some fools are debating in the other thread that life in nigeria is good. if the people masterminding these scams channel their resources into something progressive, nigeria would have her own mark zuckerberg and bill gates! |
debosky: Gazumped again - first on Eden, now Moura.you would pay £36m on an unproven 19 year old who is stinking the whole joint at the olympic? i was so glad psg got him. we don't even need this dude. he cannot be better than nani valencia young and kagawa.....i'd rather we spend that £30m on modric or de rossi! lucas moura is not better than gervinho! |
big time scam. everytime i see uk contact numbers that start with 070XXXXX, i cringe! sadly, many nigerians would fall for this trap again. for a uk employer to employ directly from nigeria - they ought to have displayed job vacancies in national newspapers here in the uk for 6 months without success. with the rate of unemployment currently in the uk, it's not just possible for this hotel not to have interested applicants - this is a mighty scam - efcc should be contacted! |
justwise: You couldn't make that updo you know any nairaland member that fell for this scam? where was i when this ish was going on? for feck sake, that thread is epic.....it should be moved to the home page......one tool said he confirmed the authenticity of the scam from 4 different pastors and 3 herbalists - he shoulda used his common sense instead..... idiotic people..... |
justwise:and they would have us believe life in nigeria is good. 7000 heads scammed....more than half of them are professionals in oil/gas, banking, insurance, etc and still got fleeced by one ordinary sweet talking scammer. waiting at the national theatre to be airlifted to canada actually shows nigerians are one of the dumbest people in the world.....the scammer actually told them to wear a uniform and they all did...chei, my belle o. see pictures.....it's like looking at jamb candidates in an examination centre. |
shymmex: I can't believe people are using cars to judge success lol..did you just drop on this planet? nigeria use phones to judge success. a fucking mobile phone!!! |
Kobojunkie: Are you sure you are in Nigeria? Because according to stories on Nairaland, Nigeria is improving -- forget the numbers they say.don't mind the charlatans.....which naija is improving? it's declining everyday. it has gotten so bad that bank employees now get sacked via text messages! |
kushe: Who read today's front page article of the guardian? It reads Nigerians bemoan rate of unemployment, seek action. I fall into the category of comfortable semi returnees but then make we no lie, what is the size of nigeria's privileged class. I once told someone to add all the plum jobs in the IOCs,telecomms, banking and allied financial services,Fast moving consumer goods sectors, the breweries and maybe international charities like the DFIDs and USAIDs of this world. Are those jobs, two million ? I seriously doubt it,yet 3.2 million people have been unleashed on the labour Market in 2010/2011.you deserve a nobel prize for this piece... well done, sir....
ok, who is werepeleri? what was his other id? and what concerns me with all this?
your knight in a shiny armour...your part-time lover....your bedfellow to be. ![]() |
werepeLeri: Ride on. People like you who resort to abuse to make a point are not worth my time. I wonder where I said I want to engage UK based Nigerians. Someone must have peed in his trouser.you'd know...you ejaculate whenever you sniff tpia around...you obnoxious sex deviant! |
werepeLeri: You lack the ability to think. Who is making a comparison? Abeg- walk past.you are a simpleton...people like yourself have been bigging up nigeria.... did you not say you wanted to engage uk-based nigerians in your idiotic diatribe? faced with facts now, you are no longer interested in comparing? stiffen your index finger and sit on it... |
werepeLeri: I see its paining you - why not leave the thread?it's not paining me....just putting it down that you are clueless comparing life abroad to the life in naija. little did you know that the nigerians in diaspora pumped a total of $9 billion alone to naija economy on money transfers alone last year..... that excludes the money given to aunty tpia going to naija or aunty kobojunkie going to abuja - |
werepeLeri: You better zip it and dont go personal because you dont know me. Zip it out.i don't need to know you to know what you epitomize..... |
huh? are you saying coogar has been typing from outside the uk, like say mushin or okokomaiko?
you grew up in these areas so you'd know them.....typical village woman... werepeLeri: LOL. Who do you mix with while in Nigeria?people like you, i suppose.... people who talk big and dream big but with no substance..... nigeria is good, nigeria is lovely and this happened.............https://www.nairaland.com/767203/fred-olawale-makanjuola-crystal-services#9208574 7000 educated people scammed by one ordinary man because of a canadian visa. canada of all places..... i laugh in patience goodluck! |
werepeLeri: Looks like there is this belief that you can never make it in Nigeria. So, those estates that spring up daily, those nice bungalows around town, those gaily dressed men and women I see every day in Nigeria, those fancy cars in town are all owned by people who came in from the diaspora?they are all acquired via high interest mortgages, cars on hire-purchase and what-nots. nigerians spend 60% of their income on "looking good". it's the only country in the world where the phone one carries is immediately used to determine one's status. many people drive those cars and stay in those bungalows and wallow in debt.....it's what they call "packaging"! |
deshclones: Chic YOU DON'T know shit abt naija...stop yarning dust...for you to ask of good schs,24hr light nd water means u r bereft of the millions of alternatives here or outrightly dumb..I personally chose d latter...i am a uk based nigerian....please engage me.... if i don't put you down within 15 mins, i owe you a sack of yams! |
AjanleKoko: Haba.putrescent swine! the type that gives nigeria a bad name. i actually blame the relatives coming to someone like you for aid. you cannot even feed yourself or boast of a quality life. the moment any twit earns N200k per month in nigeria, he considers himself a god! oloshious fellow! |
AjanleKoko: Hmm.i am in a much better place than you can ever be.....instead of you to find something progressive to do with your life, you are busy dragging your struggling relatives in the mud because you sense they would soon come with their demands.... foolish boy! |
AjanleKoko: Stop screaming, nutter.hahahaha, i did that many moons ago when you were still in your sullied panties, throwing tantrums whilst slapping fierce looking mosquitoes scheming to suck your toxic blood. i threw down the gauntlet days ago and you're yet to take challenge....that you are either a uk-reject, failed asylum seeker or a deportee does not give you the chutzpah to berate people who want to broaden their horizon abroad.....continue to live in your delusion, you homoerotic twit! |
AjanleKoko: You know ranting is a sport for you.padded room in a strait jacket? if it were true, how in the name of zeus do i manage to use my hands to type when its shackled under my cloth? ajanlekoko, in one fell swoop(yet again), you have been found out to be brainless, idiotic and hormonally imbalanced!! |
afam4eva: Serial killers are not popular in Nigeria like in the US. The thing about Nigeria is that, if you mind your business, you'll live longer than Metusela.this is a daft comment..... nigeria don't even have the database to analyse serial offenders to start with. there are serial killers in nigeria. every ritualist(otokoto, okija chiefs, etc) are all serial killers. how can you even begin to argue the life in nigeria is better? the same country where 500,000 pregnant women die every year? hell cannot be worse than nigeria! |
fagamite: Truth be told, I love how you cut Ode-n-lekoko to pieces. It was refreshing, poignant, and masterfully done; on par with works done by some of the best Nobel winning laureates around. However, rating Niajababe's comment as brilliant made me lose a great deal of the respect I once had for you. No one really knows how Socrates would have felt about the comment, so you are wrong there. As for Plato, I doubt he would regard any of Naijababe's comments as brilliant. Her comments are mostly feminine and of little originality. Mostly, she just paraphrases Odenlekoko, " a witless" electrical technician c/u/m panel beater whose comments are, as your rightly described, "archaic and vacuous . . ."my sarcasm contains more cells than a prison....even fagamite didn't catch the vibe! |
werepeLeri: You hear a lot these days - and you keep wondering how our bros and sis in the diaspora cope. Abeg, this no be thread for uncultured language, uncultured statements etc. This is so others can learn from your experience out there.not rosy, not thorny! one thing is clear though - it's miles better in diaspora than having to fear the menace of armed bandits invading homes every passing night! |
can this season fucking start already? with vidic back and cleverley looking fit....i am super confident. the front four as a unit is more potent than any squad in the division! rooney + welbeck + chicharito + berbatov nani + young + valencia + kagawa + cleverley + ando! it's the death of other premier league teams!! |
birdman: Of course not. But it is irrational for Chief Okoro's kids to expect Emeka to actually help. Emeka might very well have financial pressures of his own, like sending his own kids to school. Obviously, Chief is not comfortable - if you cant afford reasonably good education for your kids, you are NOT comfortable no matter how much material wealth you have. Perhaps Chief Okoro should have started saving for his kids while they were in kindergarten, instead of depending on another man to take care of his kids in his old age.if chief okoro isn't comfortable then 99% of nigerians are not comfortable. listen - chief okoro is quite comfortable sending his wards to school in nigeria, but cannot afford sending all of them abroad to complete their degrees. how many nigerians can put £80,000 on their kids every session on fees/allowances to study abroad? |
Usain Bolt wants to play for Man utd. Hope Fergie signs him up. Cant be worse than Bebe. Oh..did I say that out loud?
bebe would be the next gareth bale for us - patience lads, patience!!!as for usain bolt, he should concentrate on his sprints....running without the ball and running with the ball are 2 different things. |
