angelfallz:Nah. I just think it's a weak argument to claim "they just don't know." It's not the 70s. There are people sitting in villages next to a goat, on their iPhone. I know there are places untouched by technology, but that's not who we're talking about. No disrespect at all. |
To people saying that some people actually believe this due to propaganda and ignorance... The ignorance stems from racism. They choose to have a certain attitude and choose to neglect accessing information. It's 2022. You can literally go online and someone is streaming/publishing their entire life any day of the week. It's been that way for at least the last 20 years. Oyinbos are massively insecure and psych0. They want to believe Africans and any other black people are living a certain way (e.g. poverty or unhappiness). It makes them angry and miserable to think otherwise. They try to convince themselves of all kinds of nonsense. No amount of education/information can fix people with those kinds of m3ntal problems. Oyinbos are also jealous of African/black culture and people, and our impact. They try to undermine it in various ways, e.g. appropriation, downplaying, and negative images/ideas. The same people pretending to be ignorant of a culture or saying something negative will be the same ones exploiting it. Many oyinbos, frankly, lack the m3ntal capacity to not be racist. They actually find it hard. I've never in my life met a African/black person that considered it a massive, complicated, stressful task. But oyinbos are so dúmb, sick, and evil that it requires tremendous effort. lol |
angelfallz:He's racist in addition to being ignorant and dūmb as rocks. But he represents the average m0r0n that uses TikTok. You can't expect much from people who don't have the attention span and mental capacity to watch stuff for longer than a few seconds. lol That said, devoting energy to racists isn't productive. It's like arguing with a farm animal. And the person who typed the comment is probably either a nonblack child trolling, or they're a nonblack troll living in some flyover US state or flyover country (they're irrelevant). They might even be a self-hating black American (pretty common), or tragic múlatto. |
Stop being so impatient and petty. She's being reasonable. Give her time. |
Let her go. You can certainly do better. Hopefully, she finds the right person that inspires healthy love and commitment in her. You don't have to be that person. |
1. Cool. 2. They may be the fastest in distance running, but they're not beating any Jamaican at sprinting. 3. They're probably racist. Yes, I know they're black, but they don't. |

The entire nation of China is a detention camp for anyone there. Human rights basically don't exist. |
They have no influence. They're Russia's pawn and pet project. |

It makes you wonder how many women get scammed like this. How many "uncles" and "aunts" are basically engaging in tr4ffícking. |

The undocumented immigrant population in the United States has been changing for a long time—and now, according to a new study released by the Pew Research Center, Mexican nationals make up less than half of the group for the first time in about half a century. white Americans were, in general, much less likely to suspect someone of being undocumented if their country of origin was in Europe or Asia. That attitude clashes with reality: Today, people from Asian countries make up the fastest-growing population of undocumented immigrants. By race and ethnicity, more Asian immigrants (both documented and undocumented) have arrived in the U.S. than Latinx immigrants since 2010. some researchers have called undocumented Asian immigrants an "invisible" population. Last fall, Soo Mee Kim, a sociologist at California State University–Los Angeles, and Aggie J. Yellow Horse, an Asian Pacific American studies professor at Arizona State University, argued in the sociological journal Contexts that undocumented Asian immigrants remain "in the shadows," as the national conversation focuses on Latinx immigrants and border issues. "When undocumented Asian immigrants are acknowledged, media outlets invoke the stereotype of the 'model minority,' The four largest Asian undocumented populations are from India, Korea, the Philippines, and China. Between 2007 and 2017, the number of Indian undocumented immigrants in the country alone grew by over 60 percent, from 325,000 people to 525,000https://psmag.com/.amp/news/most-undocumented-immigrants-are-not-mexican |

Traditionally, memorial poles — known as lorrkkon, ḏupun or ḻarrakitj — were used to house the bones of the deceased. Interment in a memorial pole marked the final point in a long and complex funeral process designed to guide the spirit of the deceased on its final journey. It signified the moment when spirits were considered to have finally returned to their ancestral homes—when they had left all vestiges of the mundane “outside” world and become one with the “inside” realm of the ancestral world. The clan designs painted on the poles mark the ancestral identity of people and place. The forms of the designs can link together groups that are connected to the same ancestral beings, that lie on the tack of the same ancestral journey. The clan designs themselves are highly expressive forms, and then the final stage of Yolngu paintings is infilling the design with fine crosshatched lines, known as ‘rarrk’.

If he's guilty, then police should handle him accordingly. But this all sounds suspect. I didn't even know anything about their relationship, but from the description, it sounds even more questionable. I know dv can be complicated, however, it appears she was mad about the cheating, comfortably left him, and then was happy to get back with him. Then her family claims she got hacked to take the heat and scrutiny off her. They go back to childhood and their families seem to be tight, so it all sounds strange that he's some massive abuser. And there should be police reports with history of abuse if there's any truth to what she's saying. There's no way that neighbors and family never called the cops. This isn't the 50s. |
Karlovych:Maybe. But it could also be an undiagnosed medical issue. She should see a specialist. |
