iblawi:Its impossible to believe the rantings on this page without providing figures. Henry did. Pls can you support your argument with present day realities. Information and disinformation are tools some of us work with for a living and mister your present love affair with the current government seems to blur your sights to the facts others see on ground. Economists look at indices quarterly from different sectors of an economy to measure growth or inflation and project outcomes after performance in a given cycle. So I'd rather ask questions and if you can't answer them with proof then you are on what we call voodoo economics. 1. What was the inflation rate under President Goodluck Jonathan and what is it now? 2. What was the exchange rate to the dollar in 2015 and what is it now? I have other questions but let's just do with what I call kitchen table economics no grammar. Answer me. |
The Nigerian Soldier Always Wins Even In Death.
|
ssaengine:Setbacks are part of military operations. A war is made up of many battles. Who wins the war carries the day. Now that's our forte, to win wars which we do quite well and it's not about to change anytime soon. BHTs incredible capacity to rebound is not a dent in the capability of the Nigerian Army to vanquish them. Nigeria's direct and covert support for the MPLA led to them not only capturing SA POWs but to defeat them. That's the historical reality which is glaring enough. |
patches689:Get off my handle! Operation last hold is on full steam. For every one Nigerian soldier you kill a hundred shows up. You mess up big time to kill a Nigerian soldier we will come back at you each time until the terms are agreed in our favour, period. That's the history and won't change. Wait to see the dry season offensive. Pretoria always and still avoids Abuja as it's one and only strategic threat. It has nothing on Abuja. Zero First grow up and sit to learn. |
ssaengine:And yet holding ground. Leave the Nigerians to their upheaval, they can bash themselves as always but you know what always get the job done in the end which is the common goal. BHT holds no territory and is doing what only it can do against lightly defended FOBs it can't hold for any few hours. It's called harassing the enemy and friendly forces in turn reinforce to give them a beating which inflicts maximum casualties. If BHT enter your country by now you'd be in Abuja begging for those same Nigerian soldiers. You think ISWAP are poachers or the MPLA. Wait till you see them then you know the difference in fighting for survival and fighting to die with a grin on your face. Historical evidence abounds that Nigeria's military diplomacy denied Apartheid South Africa the sphere of influence it wanted in Angola. In all its foreign forays Apartheid lead Pretoria avoided direct confrontation with Lagos like a plaque. Every student of history knows that. Don't know what your pain is about a historical reality like you are invisible which you're not. |
Henry240:This is a Buhari government that seeks strategic military relationship with Saudi Arabia. Who does that? A Saudi Arabia except for its defence by America and client states as small as Senegal and Sudan will be speaking Farsi by now under Iranian tutelage. That shows you the primordial sentiments pervasive in this administration that allowed thousands of it's own citizens to be slaughtered like chickens by Fulani herdsman and their sponsors on a land conquest who also brazenly go on live television to brag about it and nothing is done to them but Deji Adeyanju is put in jail for exercising his rights to free speech devoid of killing any human. Only a nepotistic, narcissistic and nomadic government would do that. Anyone who cannot see the light is guilty of the same crimes. Frankly being a Nigerian is nauseating in these times. |
MiddleDimension:Indeed you are right. We all wanted anything but Jonathan because of the open stealing but that man put food on the table and relative security. Today no food, no security and in fact soon no nation. I for one sincerely regret my support for Buhari and sincerely apologize to the Nigerian people. I sincerely thought we would have our first Mandela. No but a tyrant and religious bigot who history will never forgive. |
iblawi:And so what if he committed sins? Don't you commit sins? Why do we have the Justice System. Ah I forgot because under Buhari the rule of law is non-existent. Keep on playing to the gallery until you have a civil war on your hands. Incompetence is staring you right in the face and you are here reminding us of a dead mans sins. Are we now a jungle republic? Where the executive arm of government locks up people at will and won't respect court judgments in the name of fighting corruption that they themselves today are the worst offenders. Wait let another government come into power then you find your beloved Burutai is also full of sleaze. We have their files...you will be shocked Badeh is a saint. World over Generals are always caught in one corruption or the other in times of conflict. That man was charged to court and under the laws of the land he is innocent until proven guilty. The process should have run its course so we are not seen as primates in the jungle. Clearly that man wasn't adequately protected. You don't reward officers and men with indignity and yet complain of low morale in your armed forces. And let's quit with all the propaganda of the day, tired of it, everyone knows the truth. Yes they stole but they had the initiative against boko haram with the six-week offensive which recovered all of those LGAs like Baga etc that Buhari came in to claim he recovered. No, he didn't. With all the noise of arming our troops they claimed Jonathan and Badeh didn't do which is a lie, Boko haram now has freedom of action and attacks at a time and place of its choosing. The recent purchase of assets for the air force (most yet to be delivered) has nothing to do with Buhari or the present military leadership. All you see fall under the projection purchases of the armed forces which is a continuous entity. They have a short, medium, long term contingency plans and depending on exigencies and the government in power they purchase what's necessary. So before Air Chief Marshall Peterin till date they are following a well rehearsed plan. Let us call a spade a spade and quit all this finger pointing, it has changed nothing and won't either. |
Nigerian Army - We Know Victory Comes From God Alone But Now Really It Is God help Us Ooo! The Front Is Collapsing - Men To Arms!
|
Henry240:Not surprised anymore, no not any longer. In fact I won't even be surprised if Chad enters Nigeria and annexes a part of its territory and nothing will happen because the incompetence of Buhari smacks to high heavens and the insult on our collective intelligence is him seeking a 2nd term. An insult of the highest order. A four star General and former Chief of Defence Staff(CDS) and his aides killed in broad daylight like chicken doesn't happen except in a failed state. A Major General vanished only weeks ago to be recovered from a pond tells you to run for it. There's no longer a State in existence except on paper. Look at us deluding ourselves to destruction under a man called Buhari who is lifeless for lack of any other word but Trumps description of the man which any sane human being should see except of course in Nigeria because of ethnic and religious backwards. How can a lifeless man save the living? Now more than ever I understand why the Babangida administration who were his kitchen cabinet at the time banded together to boot him out of office. Such an inflexible, ascetic and religious nomad who is the very epitome of bigmanism destroying Nigeria. That Nigerian Military Uniform is symbolic of the State itself and when its Generals are no longer safe then the State has collapsed. The nomadic head in Aso Rock will destroy us all except we boot him out and fast. It's a sad day. Every day under this man is a bitter regret. Let's not talk of Proforce please, it is not even a creation of this administration. Buhari is zero. Nothing. |
RIP in peace Marshall. You Came, You Saw, You Conquered. Whatever failings you had were human and those casting stones don't measure up to your full stature of resilience and strength to defend the Nigerian state against all odds at the height of the BH war. We salute you General. Go on home in peace. May the good Lord avenge your killers and give you rest.

"When you start eating your own theirs nothing left...No honour, pride, name, nationality to brag for nor die for". The gruesome death of Alex Badeh is a shame on the dignity of the Nigerian Military Uniform and the State. Nigeria has fallen apart. |
Henry240:There's only so much one can say not being on ground in the theater of combat operations. What happened at Metele is beyond embarrassing, it's a disaster that should sit everyone up. But it does not come without its sinister motives. Whichever way we want to postulate clearly this has something to do with the forthcoming election cycle in Nigeria. Vested interests foreign and domestic with an eye on the seat of power in Abuja will do anything to tarnish whatever security credentials of the sitting president who himself has been aloof in virtually all the sectors of the country. That Chad border is the new problem. In fact the Chadians have since made a tactical withdrawal on that border following a new strain of relentless and fiery ISWAP attacks. In the last six months we have seen a resurgent ISWAP on the Chadian border. The new ISWAP leadership is ruthless and better armed. Many still question the sources of this new weaponry and the apparent lack of will of the Chadians to do their bit on their side of the border through the MNJTF. The only bulwark since then has been the NAF and task force elements of the Nigerian Army. However this Army has been fighting a bitter war over a decade now and smaller violent insurrections around the country, of course fatigue sets in at combat levels and the tendency to profit at higher command levels become palpable inevitably leading to unwarranted setbacks at the front. This is what happened to the Americans in Vietnam leading to their eventual in all but name capitulation despite severely punishing the enemy in a war of attrition. But the enemy we are fighting knows you can wear down a powerful army by guerrilla tactics, ambushes, terror attacks that instill fear in soldiers. The Barbarians set that trend with the powerful Roman legions leading in all to the fall of the Roman Empire. The perpetrators of this evil against Nigeria brought us a Vietnam with Islamic strains but the difference here is that this is our home and the Nigerian military is not going anywhere until every one last bit of BHT is wiped out and this should be the new military strategy in the short term. The new order for every commander should be bodies; body count of enemy combatants. Kill as many terrorists as can be replaced. Yes it is a scorched earth strategy of taking the fight to the terrorists wherever they are hibernating including foreign territories. That Idris Deby Itno is up to something with a foreign power and should be taught a lesson of who is boss around here. Anything short of putting boots on the ground across borders will have us on the back foot defending indefensible bases and morning our dead. The war must be expanded and the NAF should lead the way with scorched earth 500 pound bombs on known ISWAP hideouts on the Chadian side of the border. The old strategy hasn't been working which was to decimate and physically occupy liberated hitherto BHT strongholds with FOBs and back-up combat elements nearby for reinforcements thus allowing displaced citizens return back to normal life as a sign of winning the war on terror. Not gonna work in the short term. This will only be the usual back and forth that we see. ISWAP has fully morphed into a deadly guerrilla army. The AFSF comes to mind. They have been very effective with their ruthless maneuvering. We must out-guerilla the guerrillas with deadly force that counts substantial enemy losses more than before. The 72nd and other such combat elements should be thrown into the fray with the objective of shooting anything that moves in BHT enclaves. They are ruthless we must be even more ruthless. BHT has shown incredible capacity to resurge with even more deadly force and should no longer be underestimated by anyone. Abuja is the problem of this war. The current president cannot see beyond his nose in the north. His defense minister is parochial, sectional and tribalistic and should be sacked. The replacing of effective commanders from the south with northern officers at operational level in the north-east to counter the claim of the Borno state governor that southern officers have shown dexterity and innovation in combat is a shame. Nepotism is at its worst in Nigeria. The National Security System is being run by incompetent stooges from the north appointed by President Buhari. That's not to say there are no competent northern officers, there are but their loyalty is being called into question. The fear of the opposition PDP party winning back power has lead to paranoia in the current ruling party. To start with the president must bury his hands in his head and take the blame for the recent shortcomings. The entire service chiefs should have been sacked when their term was up bringing on new hands for fresh impetus to the war going on up in north-east. I have since said and rested my case that these current service chiefs are bereft of new ideas and fresh eyes are needed on the field of combat. There's only so much a professional Nigerian soldier can do when poorly led by the military high command and faced with overwhelming odds and no new strategy and tactical options to win a fight against die-hard islamafascists terrorists who believe they are on a mission from God and willing to die for it. |

NAF Anti-BHT Tactical Strike Posture

lionel4power:Take your disinformation tactic elsewhere. You are yet to answer the question of your nationality. You are no different from others with multiple monikers masquerading as Nigerians—fake Nigerian. They want to tell us what to do when they can't even "clean house". Just look at why u'd love Nigeria! Even a T.oad can see between the lines and judge u're only an external observer not blood. Nigerians know the working of their country not to bait an eyelid over the irony of your pic. Right or wrong politics never stops playing in Abuja which in many cases is oblivious to the suffering of the masses. Tell us something we don't know like maybe the high rate of murders in your country. |
80% of The Nigerian Air Force Fleet currently active no questions. That's an impressive feat considering where we are coming from over the years especially as recently as 2015 when it was at 30% something BHT intellengstia exploited at the height of the insurgency (though it's moles in the system continue to exploit existent gaps and or periodic maintenance of assets). This capacity across board in our Military gives us a head start over our bitter domestic enemies and sub-regional rivals.

bidex111:The M.U.M.U. himself admitting he didn't answer the questions ![]() You see since you are impervious to reason and common sense theirs one good option. What am really good at is exposing your st.upidity, abject ignorance and illitera.cy. Don't be asphyxiated ![]() |
bidex111:I hear pain in your sinews You might also want to look up the meaning of "Terrorist Sympathizer". No I'm not asking you the meaning I'm saying look it up. I didn't get answers to my earlier questions not expecting any now. The f.ool and the slow.poke is self evident along with like-minded illitera.tes. You should stick to guns and bullets nothing more. |
I just found out someone likes to type to be heard. No answers. The host needs help! It's the best I can do. Being r.etarded can't find a better expression.................No More Comment. I rest my case........................ ![]() |
bidex111:What is the meaning of terrorism and what does this picture and message inspire to the general public? |
bidex111:What advantage is this to the morale of the troops fighting to win the war? |
bidex111:What has this celebration on your wall of a rightly dead terrorist helping to defeat terrorism? |
bidex111:So the appropriate authorities don´t see it? |
Stephandeswardt:Appropriately so, the link suffices. Discretion is the point here. That´s what the host don´t comprehend. |
bidex111:GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE YOU ARE BEING INSANE AGAIN THIS EARLY MORNING. JUST LOOK AT THE NONSENSE YOU WRITE! YOUR CIVIC DUTY IS TO PUT OUT THE NEWS MAKING THEM LOOK BAD. EVERYTHING ELSE FITS THEIR AGENDA. GET IT INTO YOUR HEAD. |
bidex111:Wake up and smell the coffee! We are fighting jihadists who believe they are on a mission from God; they are unforgiving. Whether it is on a million sites doesnt´t matter, your civic duty is what matters. Wahhabist Jihadism fights on every level not only by guns, bullets and bombs. Everything that advances their goal is a tool including your keyboard right there. Deception is theologically a legitimate tool for them. DON´T AID AND ABETT INADVERTENTLY! The news should rather be the exploits of the Nigerian Army on counter-attack not their 1min clip verbatim. |
Stephandeswardt:View it DISCREETLY, no one forbids you. |
bidex111:"Let the dude be" - making explosives is another level of terrorism, recruiting techniques is another trade in terrorism. Your view holds no water. Every expert knows for every terrrorist material glorifying jihadist martyrdom another terrorist is born. It is a tactic right from old time. No he don´t need it, if he wants he can go view it discreetly. Anything else is encouraging terrorists and terrorism. |
bidex111:Terrorists material and propaganda shouldn´t be given ample publicity. Viewing discreetly is one thing if you choose but making it public on a forum like this followed by youths around the world is subtly aiding and abetting terrorists ggenda something they want. Just look at the title: Tribulation & Blessings. Thats a Recruiting Slogan right there. if u´re gonna give info on them do it with them having their tail between their legs not copying verbatim whether text or video onto a public fora. Why help them propagate their hate. BHT knows those few secs of clip is an art of psychological warfare even if they loose a hundred men doing it or even get wiped out on a counter-attack. The Nigerian Army is in control of that base and all but destroyed boko haram. That raid is boko haram´s strategy of remaining even if mostly suicidal attempts. |
