Good write up man...keep it up.
FamilyRe: Am In Tears Avised Needed by CrazyMan(m): 1:14pm On Dec 29, 2012
I'm really sorry for all you've gone through, and I wish you a speedy recovery.

However one doesn't just wake up and starts threatening her husband with divorce just because of a dream she had.

Recover fully, and then ask her why the sudden change in attitude. Cos I see no reason why a woman who loved you so much that she lost a child in the process and bleed for about a year on your behalf would be advocating a divorce.

Something is wrong somewhere.
TravelRe: ABC Transport - Passengers Beware! by CrazyMan(m):
feelgood: ABC bus (Abuja to PH) left yesterday morning by 7.15am. After some questionable stops, it got to Owerri by midnight - usually it should have arrived PH much earlier.
Could you please explain what you mean by questionable stops?

The ABC that I know of stops only at ABC terminals and other designated bus-stops.

ABC is so flawless and upright that they stick to their departure time.

If 7:15am is what's written on your ticket, it means that at 7:15 even if its only 5 persons who have purchased tickets, the driver would depart.

I experienced such when I was traveling from Awka to owerri via ABC...a bus which was supposed to accommodate at least 15 passengers was so scanty...we were less than 7 passengers in that bus, and as soon as it clocked 8:30am (the departure time) the driver left Awka and headed for owerri.

Surprisingly, he didn't stop to pick passengers on the way like other transportation companies do. Instead he drove us straight to our destination.

So mr poster please get your facts straight before thinking of rubbishing some else's business.

feelgood: Despite pleas by passengers that the driver should wait till day breake specially as the route was not safe at that time of day, the driver ignored security warnings and proceeded at 1.30am 28th Dec. Within an hour from Owerri, they were ambushed and robbed by armed robbers who requested the passengers to march into the bush leaving their luggage behind. After the robbery operation and the departure of the robbers, the bus continued to PH and finally arrived about 5am - almost 24hrs after leaving Abuja.
I don't understand you here...what's the distance from Abuja to Ph?

A bus that leaves Abuja at 7:15 am, no matter the kind of stopping the driver makes should get to PH latest by 7pm.

Now there's one rule you don know...no transportation company bypasses its bus-stop.

ABC has a park at onitsha so if at all you guys arrived late as you claimed, the driver would have driven straight to their park for a break, and continue the journey the following day.

I've experienced that several times.

This leaves me with the following questions.

Where exactly were you robbed?

What route were you referring to that wasn't safe, cos I see no notorious route from Abuja to Ph.

The routes like the benin by pass and benin roundabout were probably passed in broad day light...cos I've never encountered any form of holdup there.

All holdups end at ore, and resume in Asaba. And coming from Abuja, you definitely aren't going to make use of the ore route.

So if at all you encountered any form of hold up in Asaba, that held you guys till 1am, the driver would have parked his bus at onitsha, cos no one and I repeat no one uses the upi-iweka route at such an odd time (1am).

So I ask again where exactly were you robbed?

feelgood: The passengers narrated their ordeal to the ABC management and the driver's obstinacy that got them into the problem. Rather, the passengers were informed that there was nothing ABC could do and the driver was exonerated.
Lies.

No transportation company bus would get to its destination 5am (almost 24 hours after departure) and the management would fold their arms.

Its not possible...the manifesto which you filled has a carbon copy that stays with the management. So at the estimated time, if there's no trace of the bus, a call would be put across to the driver to know his exact location and how safe it is for him to continue his trip.

That's what standard companies like ABC, the young, chisco, ekene...etc do.

feelgood: If you are travelling by ABC, esp on the east west route, you are on your own o. The purported insurance cover is a joke. ABC is a rip off and when the chips are down, customer service is thrown out of the window.
If you don't have strong proofs to back up your claims, then I would suggest that you refrain from posting crap on this site.

Thanks.
I agree with Teeo, the chosen book should have a downloadable e-copy. I don't know about Nigerian novels, but we can freely download some Western novels from manybooks.net.
Bless you all.
So when do we kick off this project...and what book should we begin with.

Peterjosh: Lokoja to Delta and it has been quite a while we've seen eachother lets say nearly 4years now
This explains why she referred to another guy as my love. I can place a bet that she and the guy she referred to as my love share the same location.

Since you obviously weren't physically present to give her the love and care she needs, she sourced out and found someone who fitted perfectly in your shoes.

My advice is that if you want to be happy in life, stay away from distance relationship.

Good luck.

Caracta: @crazyman, updates about what? The section should be for Corp Members to relate and get useful info. I don't think i should be there.
Really...so let me guess...you're through with your service right?...congrats then.

We need people like you there to advise and enlighten upcoming corpers on what service is all about.

Surely, you would definitely have a word of advice to give out right?

Also I'm sure you have siblings who are likely to participate in the exercise sooner or later. So keeping informed and updated on the latest gist about the NYSC scheme on their behalf would be wise.

Don't you think so?

The day a scammer refunded back the 30k he collected from an innocent member.

I'd say that was memorable...and I would also like to give a shout out to all that gave their time and energy towards that course.

I wish you all compliments of the season...and happy new year in advance.

aburoburo: Happy birthday hun, love, boo, etc...very harmless in my opinion.
OP please relax wink
Its harmless when you aren't dating anyone. It becomes harmful when you're in a serious relationship...

If you love and respect your spouse, then you'll eliminate every suspicion in that relationship and would work towards making him proud of you.

If my girl posts such thing, I would immediately call her and ask her who that guy is. Cos such post is like a insult to me.

Its ok to wish a member of the opposite sex a happy birthday...but the moment the love word comes in, then something is definitely going on between them.

Cos from experience, no Nigerian girl would refer to you as her "love" if nothing is going on between you two...I would suggest that you monitor her and know exactly what she's up to.
RomanceRe: Is She A Cheating Partner? by CrazyMan(m): 3:16pm On Dec 28, 2012
What you're feeling is normal! Any person in your situation would be feeling the same way.

If I was dating a girl who would openly point out how madly she's in love with another guy, it'd bother me as well.

IMO...I feel she's probably doing it to make you jealous in a way.

Most girls constantly need reassurance that their boyfriend is still interested in them and cares...one of such is to create an atmosphere that would make you realize how much they mean to you should you loose them.

A typical example is what you've just experienced.

Also, It could be that she has left you for good and has actually found some else.

If I were you, I'd try to calmly talk to her about it and let her know that you don't like how it makes you feel...It's not fair for you to have to see that post all the time and I know if you were doing it to her it'd bother her eventually too. Talking to her about it is the best thing you can do

Her reply should determine your next line of action...good luck.

Great job sexkillz and jaybee, more grease to your elbows.

May 2013 be a greater year for the romance section...may all trolls and trouble makers who gave you sleepless nights this year give up their lifestyle and change for the best as 2012 rounds up.

I believe there's always room for improvement...so keep the fire burning, cos you can still go higher.

Compliments of the season.
